“Importancia del plan para uso y manejo correcto de plataformas educativas virtuales” (Estudio realizado en el Instituto de Educación Básica y Diversificada INEB-D de Cuyotenango, Suchitepéquez)
The research was carried out at the National Institute of Basic and Diversified
Education INEB-D of Cuyotenango Suchitepéquez, with the aim of evaluating the
importance of the plan for the correct use and management of virtual educational
platforms, reducing the different barriers (physical, emotional and technological) that
face the students. One of them being the lack of internet, little familiarity with the
platforms due to lack of training and in other cases, not having a technological device
(cell phone, computer or others).
It was a qualitative research with a descriptive, narrative and comparative
character. One of the most important aspects of the process was to select the correct
sample to collect data, being the principal, five teachers and 20 students, a total of
26 people. The inductive method was used, that is, it started from the specific to the
general. Once the problem to be investigated has been determined, one begins with
particular premises and, in the end, general conclusions are obtained. Techniques
such as observation, document analysis, inquiry to informants and application of
surveys were also used.
According to the results, weaknesses that exist due to the lack of a plan for the
adequate use of virtual educational platforms were detected; The level of educational
quality presented by the institute was analyzed and unfortunately it has a low level in
terms of quality; It was necessary to promote the importance of mastering virtual
platforms, taking into consideration how fundamental it is to use them in cases such
as the ones we live (COVID-19); Therefore, it was important to make proposals aimed
at formulating the plan that establishes the correct and effective use of virtual
platform
