At finde frem til det uforudsigelige:Etnografiske fortĂŚllinger om elevers kreative processer i skolen
Artiklen eksemplificerer feltarbejdsmetoders betydning for at undersøge og begrebsliggøre kreativitet i skolekontekster (Saltofte 2010, 2012a). Antropologiske feltarbejdsmetoder er designet til at leve sig ind i andres oplevelse af verden og dermed kunne tilgodese uforudsigelighed. Metodedesignet mĂĽ, for at undersøge og beskrive kreative processer, indebĂŚre mulighed for at studere sĂĽvel interaktionelle processer som strukturelle forhold. Feltarbejde prĂŚsenteres som en erfaringsproces, der indebĂŚrer at finde begreber for det uforudsigelige. âKreative processerâ analyseres ud fra indsigt i sĂĽvel feltens eksplicitte betegnelse og implicitte anerkendelse. Der fremanalyseres en forskel mellem, hvad der ved projektarbejde anerkendes af skolen som institution, og hvad der anerkendes blandt elever. Det institutionelt anerkendte kreative fremstĂĽr i kraft af feltarbejdet, som noget elever kan opnĂĽ ved at tilføje produkter fra skolens musisk kreative fag
"We want to make it cool to be a choir girl":An anthropological investigation of creativity in forming a choir identity
Members of the Danish MidWest Girlsâ Choir and their conductor have the aim of creating unique expressive forms. As a consequence, the girlsâ work has worked to develop new forms of singing and performance. The choir seeks to find an identity that distinguishes them from traditional church choirs and thereby recreate âchoir girlsâ as something other than âwell behavedâ and âdisciplinedâ, both in their learning processes and in forming their image as a performing choir not related to a church. This paper analyses the role of novelty as process and âproductâ in an identity-creating process in the social community of singers. Creativity is in this article seen as the collective processes of becoming skilled and of demonstrating distinction from the established discipline of classic choir singing.
