    Indistinguishable Chargeon-Fluxion Pairs in the Quantum Double of Finite Groups

    We consider the category of finite dimensional representations of the quantum double of a finite group as a modular tensor category. We study auto-equivalences of this category whose induced permutations on the set of simple objects (particles) are of the special form of PJ, where J sends every particle to its charge conjugation and P is a transposition of a chargeon-fluxion pair. We prove that if the underlying group is the semidirect product of the additive and multiplicative groups of a finite field, then such an auto-equivalence exists. In particular, we show that for S_3 (the permutation group over three letters) there is a chargeon and a fluxion which are not distinguishable. Conversely, by considering such permutations as modular invariants, we show that a transposition of a chargeon-fluxion pair forms a modular invariant if and only if the corresponding group is isomorphic to the semidirect product of the additive and multiplicative groups of a finite near-field.Comment: 15 pages, arXiv:1006.5479 includes all results of this paper, v3: fixed a typo in eq (11

    Quantum interactive proofs with short messages

    This paper considers three variants of quantum interactive proof systems in which short (meaning logarithmic-length) messages are exchanged between the prover and verifier. The first variant is one in which the verifier sends a short message to the prover, and the prover responds with an ordinary, or polynomial-length, message; the second variant is one in which any number of messages can be exchanged, but where the combined length of all the messages is logarithmic; and the third variant is one in which the verifier sends polynomially many random bits to the prover, who responds with a short quantum message. We prove that in all of these cases the short messages can be eliminated without changing the power of the model, so the first variant has the expressive power of QMA and the second and third variants have the expressive power of BQP. Autism has asense as the conditions experienced by a person which can affect the berhubunagn andcommunicate, especially in interpersonal communication. Subjects in this studyconsisted of teachers, parents, and students. While the object of research is the ParentCommunication Patterns in Autistic Children Communicate Overcoming Adversity(Studies in Autistic Children Parents in Sekolah Dasar Swasta Khusus Autis AnakMandiri Jalan Kutilang No. 5 Sukajadi Kota Pekanbaru.Holders important role in dealing with cases of autism, particularly in children,are the parents themselves. Parents are the ones who determine whether children withautism can develop properly or it gets worse. Parents are encouraged to think two timesmore astute in dealing with children with autism.Methods This study used a descriptive method with data collection interview.Therefore, it will be obtained a picture of the interpersonal communication betweenchildren with autism with parents.This study resulted in the conclusion that, parents who have children withautism experience many obstacles in her life dealing with autism. Parents havedifficulty in communicating both verbally and non-verbally, as well as interpersonalcommunication.     Storage Minimization of Marine Energy Grids Using Polyphase Power

    Multiple wave energy converter (WEC) buoys can be used to establish a WEC array-powered microgrid collectively forming a Marine Energy Grid (MEG). An oceanic domain with gravity waves will have significant spatial variability in phase, causing the power produced by a WEC array to have high peak-to-average ratios. Minimizing these power fluctuations reduces the demand for large energy storage by WEC array-powered DC microgrids while also reducing losses in the undersea cable to the shore. Designs that reduce energy storage requirements are desirable to reduce deployment and maintenance costs. This work demonstrates that polyphase power in conjunction with an energy storage system can be used to maintain constant power. This work shows that an N WEC array geometry can be designed to reduce the energy storage requirements needed to mitigate the power fluctuations if the WEC array produces constant, polyphase power. Additionally, the conditions that identify the wave frequencies and control the effort needed to produce polyphase power are developed. This paper also shows that increasing the number of WECs in an array reduces aggregate power fluctuations. Finally, WEC array power profiles are investigated using simulation results to verify the mathematical conditions developed for the three and six WEC cases

    Optimasi Produk Plastik pendekatan Taguchi Mixed Level pada Faktor Interaksi Injeksi Molding

    Penelitian parameter injeksi molding diperlukan untuk meminimalkan produk cacat penyusutan (shrinkage). Diharapkan perbaikan penelitian yang mengintegrasikan metode Taguchi untuk mengoptimalkan parameter injeksi serta interaksi yang mungkin terjadi. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut permasalahan yang dibahas adalah bagaimana mendapatkan parameter terbaik untuk optimasi produk plastik menggunakan pendekatan taguchi mixed level dengan 6 faktor  faktor interaksi injeksi molding dan variasi level. Metode Taguchi merupakan suatu metode pengendalian kualitas sebelum proses berlangsung, orthogonal array yang akan digunakan L18(2135) sesuai dengan jumlah faktor sebanyak 6 dan menggunakan mixed level. Variabel respon shrinkage diukur dari plastik tray yang terbuat dari campuran polimer atau poliblend. Faktor yang digunakan yaitu dengan memvariasikan injection speed (kecepatan injeksi), melting temperature (suhu leleh), injection pressure (tekanan injeksi), holding pressure (tekanan penahanan), holding time (waktu penahanan) dan cooling time (waktu pendinginan). Parameter optimal tanpa efek interaksi dengan kondisi optimum adalah kecepatan injeksi (90 %rpm), suhu leleh (240 °C), tekanan injeksi (110 bar), tekanan penahanan (96 bar), waktu penahanan (5 detik), dan pendinginan waktu (10 detik). Parameter optimal dengan efek interaksi kondisi optimum yaitu suhu leleh (240 ° C), tekanan injeksi (110 bar), tekanan penahanan (80 bar), waktu penahanan (5 detik), dan waktu pendinginan (10 detik). Kontribusi parameter dengan interaksi adalah suhu leleh (56,65%), interaksi suhu leleh dan tekanan injeksi (15,75%), waktu pendinginan (11,12%), dan kekuatan tekanan (7,83%)
