Describe el proceso metodol?gico desarrollado seg?n sus fases de alistamiento institucional, desarrollo, sistematizaci?n y evaluaci?n. El cap?tulo dos presenta el contexto de la intervenci?n y la descripci?n sociodemogr?fica de la poblaci?n de ni?os, ni?as y adolescentes participantes. El cap?tulo tres realiza un an?lisis sociol?gico de las categor?as de intervenci?n social. Presenta los aportes de la teor?a de la estructuraci?n social de Anthony Giddens, a la intervenci?n sociol?gica. Aborda la construcci?n del desarrollo de capacidades ciudadanas a partir del enfoque de desarrollo de capacidades de Amartya Sen como un aporte a la formaci?n de ciudadanos constructores de paz. El cap?tulo tres tambi?n realiza una reflexi?n cr?tica de la educaci?n para la paz, desde la discusi?n de la educaci?n para la ciudadan?a y hace un an?lisis de las herramientas sociol?gicas para la intervenci?n social, proponiendo el ?taller sociol?gico? y una nueva forma de concebir la cartograf?a social en sociolog?a. El cap?tulo cuarto y quinto, respectivamente, expone las conclusiones y recomendaciones te?ricas y pr?cticas derivadas del proyecto, en t?rminos de aportes a la disciplina y a futuros proyectos de intervenci?n social.This report presents the results of the Social Intervention Project called "School for Children and Adolescents Builders of Peace", development in Commune 6 in the municipality of Ibagu? Colombia. First chapter shows the context of the peace dialogues between the Government of Colombia and the different guerrillas and the need to make social actors that since the development of citizen skills can contribute to the process of peace building in Colombia. Also describes the methodology of the project in each section, which are institutional preparation, development and systematization and evaluation. Second chapter introduces the context of this social intervention and the demographic conditions of the target population of children who participated in the project. Third Chapter makes a sociological analysis of the categories of social intervention. It presents the contributions of the theory of structuring from Anthony Giddens to the understanding of sociological intervention and the construction of the development of citizen competences from the Amartya Sen approach, as an input in the training of peacebuilding citizens. Fourth chapter presents a critical review of education for peace, from the debate on civic education, and analyzes the sociological tools of work for social intervention, proposing a "sociological workshop" and a new way of perceiving the Social cartography in sociology. Fifth and sixth chapter, in its order, presents the conclusions and theoretical and practical recommendations that result from the project carried out, in terms of the contributions of the sociological discipline, as future projects of social intervention. Political participation in community leaders of community action boards: contributions to citizenship training in Colombia

534 p.La democracia y la ciudadan?a son un asunto de gran preocupaci?n en el mundo contempor?neo. Entre otras razones, porque la participaci?n como fundamento, est? en d?ficit y compromete la legitimidad de los sistemas democr?ticos. A la Escuela el mundo moderno le confi? la funci?n de formar los nuevos ciudadanos que la democracia requiere. Sin embargo, hay un reclamo de todos los sectores sociales al incumplimiento de la escuela sobre esta funci?n. Se evidencia una contradicci?n entre la ense?anza de valores ciudadanos y el ejercicio pr?ctico de la ciudadan?a, comprendido como participaci?n pol?tica. La brecha entre la teor?a y la pr?ctica ciudadana, permite dirigir la mirada a otros espacios comunitarios que aportan a la formaci?n ciudadana. En el caso de esta investigaci?n a las Juntas de Acci?n Comunal y espec?ficamente a los l?deres comunitarios en Colombia. En esta perspectiva, el objetivo general desarrollado permiti? comprender el proceso de construcci?n de la participaci?n pol?tica de l?deres comunitarios de las Juntas de Acci?n Comunal del Municipio de Ibagu? y el aporte a la formaci?n de ciudadanos democr?ticos en Colombia. Se realiz? un an?lisis cr?tico de la participaci?n pol?tica, se construy? la categor?a de fetichismo de la participaci?n, como esencia de la crisis de la ciudadan?a democr?tica y se revalu? el concepto para develar el car?cter oculto de la participaci?n en el ?mbito comunitario. El proceso de construcci?n de la participaci?n pol?tica en l?deres comunitarios permite entenderlos como sujetos que luchan mediante su acci?n social contra las estructuras sociales hegem?nicas, y en ese proceso construyen un conjunto de significados, valores y capacidades que son esenciales en la formaci?n de nuevos ciudadanos. La investigaci?n se sustent? en el paradigma cr?tico social, como teor?a general, y a la pedagog?a cr?tica, como teor?a sustantiva. Y se desarroll? en los campos disciplinares de la sociolog?a y la filosof?a pol?tica pr?ctica. La estrategia metodol?gica se ubic? en el enfoque cualitativo y acogi? el m?todo biogr?fico para la construcci?n de las trayectorias de la participaci?n pol?tica de los l?deres comunitarios, optando por historias de vida y grupos focales como t?cnicas de recolecci?n de informaci?n.Democracy and citizenship are a matter of great concern in the contemporary world. Among other reasons, because the participation as a basis, is in deficit and compromises the legitimacy of democratic systems. The modern world entrusted to the school the function of forming the new citizens that democracy requires. However, there is a claim of all social sectors to the non-compliance of the school on this function. There is evidence of a contradiction between the teaching of citizen values and the practical exercise of citizenship, understood as political participation. The gap between the theory and the practice citizen, allows to look to other community spaces that contribute to the citizen formation. In the case of this research about communal action boards and specifically community leaders in Colombia. In this perspective, the general objective developed allowed to understand the process of construction of political participation of community leaders from the community action boards of the municipality of Ibagu? and the contribution to the formation of democratic citizens in Colombia. A critical analysis of political participation was made, the fetishism category of the participation was built, as the essence of the crisis of democratic citizenship and the concept to unveil the hidden nature of participation in the community area was revaluated. The process of construction of political participation in community leaders allows to understand them as subjects struggling through their social action against the hegemonic social structures, and in the process built a set of meanings, values and skills that are essential in the formation of new citizens. The research was based on the critical social paradigm, as general theory, and critical pedagogy, as substantive theory. Also, it was developed in the disciplinary fields of sociology and practical political philosophy. The methodological strategy stood on the qualitative approach and embraced the biographical method for the construction of the trajectories of the political participation of community leaders, opting for life stories and focus groups as information gathering techniques
