    Corporate Social Responsibility And Financial Ratio on Market Value Added

    The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Financial Ratio on Market Value Added (MVA), both simultaneously and partially. This research was conducted using a sample of 33 companies winning 2016 CSR and Top CSR 2017 Appreciation by determining their samples (purposive sampling) because there were certain considerations over a period of 2 years (2015-2016). The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the effect of CSR and Financial Ratio together does not significantly influence Market Value Added (MVA). And partially ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO26000, OHSAS18001, Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Price Earnings Ratio (PER), Total Asset Turnover and Return on Sales do not significantly influence MVA. While partially only ESOP has a significant effect on MVA. &nbsp

    The Influence of Environmental Factors on the Activity and Propolis Production of Tetragonula laeviceps

    The Environment is one of the factors influencing the development and productivity of the bee colony. Favourable environment will significantly support bee productivity. The factors which influence the bees activity include temperature, humidity, light intensity, wind speed, rainfall, and food availability. The aims of this study are to know the influence of environmental factors on activity and propolis production of stingless bees. This study used six colonies of Tetragonula laeviceps into two different locations, monoculture and polyculture nutmeg farm. The method used is a direct observation of the activities and propolis production of stingless bee and analyzed by t-test. The study results of T. laeviceps in monoculture and polyculture farms showed that the activity of the bees was influenced by environmental factors influencing propolis production. The activities would start when the temperatures ranged from 22-23 oC, humidity 70-88%, and light intensity 183-4344 lux. The peak activity of the bees occurred at the temperatures of 26-28 oC, humidity 55-71%, and light intensity 46.875-91.347 lux. The propolis produced by T. laeviceps was 27.79 g in the monoculture farm and 48.80 g in the polyculture farm. The significant difference was predominantly due to the environmental factors

    For almost 30 years, there have been active discussions about the taxonomic impediment and the challenge this represents to address the current human-induced biodiversity crisis. From the start (Systematics Agenda 2000, 1994), the term ‘taxonomic impediment’ has been ambiguous, designating both the insufficiency and inadequacy of the resources put to the service of taxonomy (the taxonomic impediment sensu stricto) and its main consequence, the wide discrepancy between the reality of specific biodiversity and our knowledge of it (the taxonomic gap; Dubois, 2010; Raposo et al., 2020). The total number of species on our planet is unknown, and its various estimates (using different methods) are widely divergent, but consensus exists that we are far from having inventoried half, and most likely one-tenth, of the species still present on earth today (González-Oreja, 2008)
