Uniform Marker Fields for Android
Tato práce se zabĂ˝vá návrhem a implementacĂ vlastnĂho detektoru Uniform Marker Fields a ladĂcĂ aplikace pro mobilnĂ zaĹ™ĂzenĂ. Implementace detektoru pĹ™inášà alternativnĂ postupy k pĹŻvodnĂmu Ĺ™ešenĂ, tak aby co nejvĂce vyhovovala málo vĂ˝konnĂ˝m zaĹ™ĂzenĂm. HlavnĂm cĂlem tĂ©to práce je nalĂ©zt pozici a rotaci modulu markeru, pĹ™ĂpadnÄ› pozici kamery v prostoru. VĂ˝slednĂ© Ĺ™ešenĂ je moĹľnĂ© vyuĹľĂt jako knihovnu pro detekci modulu markeru nebo základ pro aplikace vyuĹľĂvajĂcĂ rozšĂĹ™enou realitu s pouĹľitĂm Uniform Marker Fields.This thesis deals with a desing and an implementation of a detector for Uniform Marker Fields and a debugging appliaction for Android mobile devices. Implementation comes with alternativ methods in considiration of original solution, suitable for low-performance devices. The main goal of detector is find a position and a rotation of marker module or alternatively a position of the camera in real space. The resulting soulution can be also used as a library for the marker module detection or as a core for augmented reality based application using Uniform Marker Fields.
Prototyping of Photographic Composition Using Augmented Reality
HlavnĂm cĂlem práce je detekce popĹ™edĂ a pozadĂ v obrazu, anglicky oznaÄŤováno jako image matting, a to s minimálnĂm uĹľivatelskĂ˝m vstupem pomocĂ trimap. RozpoznánĂ popĹ™edĂ obrazu je vyuĹľĂváno pĹ™i kompozici fotografiĂ nebo pĹ™i vĂ˝robÄ› kolážĂ. CĂlem práce je aplikovat vhodnĂ© algoritmy. V tomto pĹ™ĂpadÄ› je pouĹľito A Global sampling matting v Android aplikaci. HlavnĂm vĂ˝sledkem je jednoduchá intuitivnĂ aplikace, se kterou je moĹľnĂ© snadno vytvářet kreativnĂ virálnĂ fotografie. K vĂ˝voji aplikace je pĹ™istupováno agilnĂm zpĹŻsobem a jiĹľ od počátku byla veĹ™ejnÄ› k dispozici jako minimálnĂ produkt v otevĹ™enĂ© alfa fázi na Google Play, pozdÄ›ji uvolnÄ›na do produkce. PĹ™Ănosem práce je optimalizace uvedenĂ©ho algoritmu pro mobilnĂ zaĹ™ĂzenĂ a takĂ© paralelizace algoritmu na GPU, spoleÄŤnÄ› s veĹ™ejnÄ› dostupnou aplikacĂ.The thesis deals with an image processing problem called image matting. The problem involves detection of a foreground and background in an image with minimal user interaction using trimaps. Foreground detection is used in image composition. The goal of the thesis is to apply already known algorithms, in this case A Global sampling matting, in an Android application. The most important result is an intuitive application that can be used for making creative viral photos. Agile methodology is applied throughout the whole application development cycle. From the very beginning, the application is publicly available as a minimum viable product on Google play. The work’s contribution is in optimization of the mentioned algorithm for use in mobile devices and parallelization on a GPU, together with a publicly available application.
