Study for the neutrino coherent pion production experiment
The short range correlation of nuclear force g' ΔΔ is important to study the phase transition of the nuclear matter. The extraction of the g' ΔΔ from the neutrino and proton coherent pion productions are discussed
Complete set of polarization transfer observables for the reaction at 296 MeV and 0 degrees
We report measurements of the cross section and a complete set of
polarization transfer observables for the reaction at a bombarding energy of =
296 MeV and a reaction angle of = .
The data are compared with distorted-wave impulse approximation calculations
employing the large configuration-space shell-model (SM) wave functions.
The well-known Gamow-Teller and spin-dipole (SD) states at excitation
energies of 8 MeV have been reasonably reproduced by the
calculations except for the spin--parity = state at =
5.86 MeV.
The SD resonance at 9.5 MeV appears to have more =
strength than = strength, consistent with the
calculations.
The data show significant strength in the spin-longitudinal polarized cross
section at 15 MeV, which indicates existence
of the = SD resonance as predicted in the SM calculations.Comment: 6 figures, submitted to Physical Review
Dynamic characteristics of DC-DC converter with novel digital peak current-injected control
This paper presents the dynamic characteristics of the proposed digital control current mode de-de converter. In the proposed novel digital control circuit, the peak current-injected control is realized using the combination of the simple dual A-Dsignal converter and the programmed delay circuit. In 100kHz digitally controlled de-de converter, it is seen in simulation that the proposed method has no overshoot of the output voltage and the convergencetime that the output voltage is settled to steady-state is only 151J1S. The difference between the transient time of the proposed circuit and that of the conventionalmethod is an order of magnitude. Furthermore, the ratio of resolution of the DPWM generator against the output voltage is 0.27% and is satisfied to apply the commercial power supply unit.INTELEC 2009 - 2009 International Telecommunications Energy Conference : Incheon, South Korea, 2009.10.18-2009.10.2
Electric dipole moments and the search for new physics
Static electric dipole moments of nondegenerate systems probe mass scales for
physics beyond the Standard Model well beyond those reached directly at high
energy colliders. Discrimination between different physics models, however,
requires complementary searches in atomic-molecular-and-optical, nuclear and
particle physics. In this report, we discuss the current status and prospects
in the near future for a compelling suite of such experiments, along with
developments needed in the encompassing theoretical framework.Comment: Contribution to Snowmass 2021; updated with community edits and
