Relativistic many-body calculations of electric-dipole matrix elements, lifetimes and polarizabilities in rubidium

Electric-dipole matrix elements for ns-n'p, nd-n'p, and 6d-4f transitions in Rb are calculated using a relativistic all-order method. A third-order calculation is also carried out for these matrix elements to evaluate the importance of the high-order many-body perturbation theory contributions. The all-order matrix elements are used to evaluate lifetimes of ns and np levels with n=6, 7, 8 and nd levels with n=4, 5, 6 for comparison with experiment and to provide benchmark values for these lifetimes. The dynamic polarizabilities are calculated for ns states of rubidium. The resulting lifetime and polarizability values are compared with available theory and experiment.Comment: 8 pages, 2 figure

Mantle Cell Lymphoma Case Report

Introduction: Due to the beginning of the use of immunophenotypic and cytogenetic techniques, new nosological forms of lymphoproliferative diseases have appeared over the past few decades. According to the WHO classification (2008), today there are more than 50 known lymphoproliferative diseases. Case Presentation: We present the case of a 51-year-old man with lymphoproliferative syndrome. Our patient underwent morphological and immunohistochemical investigations of biopsy materials from the right inguinal lymph node. The morphological picture was characteristic for small cell lymphoma. Immunophenotypically, tumor proliferate cells expressed CD20, CD76b, CD5, and cyclin D, and the tumor immunophenotype matched mantle cell lymphoma. Discussion: At the present stage of the development of medicine, the diagnosis of lymphoproliferative diseases is based on the clinical picture of the disease with the definition of localization and characteristics of the tumor process, morphological study of tumor tissue and cells, and immunophenotypic and/or cytogenetic analyses are mandatory to determine the final diagnosis

Marx generator GIN-1000 with 1 MV output voltage and 80 kJ stored energy

The results of development and study of Marx generator with output voltage of 1 MV and stored energy of 80 kJ are reported. The measured value of generator inductance is ~1.3 µH, the measured effective ohmic resistance ~ 1 Ohm.Приведены результаты разработки и исследования генератора Маркса с выходным напряжением 1 МВ, запасаемой энергией 80 кДж. Psychological Analysis of the Competence of a Primary School Teacher in Working on Students' Subject Mistakes

The results of an empirical study of the competence of teachers of primary general education in working on students' subject mistakes are presented. The study sample consisted of 2,603 teachers engaged in the implementation of primary general education programs from 7 subjects of the Russian Federation. The sample of the study is referential to the general population of primary school teachers according to the criteria of gender, age, teaching experience, level of education, qualifications, implemented educational program. To study the competence of primary school teachers in working on subject mistakes, the cases were developed on the material of the courses "Mathematics" and "Natural science". Each case included the description of the problem in solving which the student made a mistake. The teacher was asked to identify the mistake made, identify the original ideas of the students behind them and suggest a way to work with it. The results obtained indicate the low competence of primary school teachers in working on subject mistakes. The initial ideas of students do not act as a means of working on mistakes and the starting point of pedagogical work on the formation of scientific concepts. The article shows the importance of the teacher's ability to identify the initial subject representations and their significance in the formation of students' subject thinking.</p
