Field pea (Pisumsativum L. ssp. sativum) is a universal pulse crop. One of the actual problems in its production is the influence of weather condition on the variability of pea economic characters and its properties. The purpose of the research (2009–2018) was to compare the vegetation period and interstage periods of the Hangildin and Chishminskiy 229 pea varieties with weather condition and seed yield. According to the results of the conducted research, it can be seen that the duration of the vegetation period and the yield of field pea grain was influenced by weather condition. The average daily air temperature affected the duration of the sowingsprouting period in pea varieties Hangildin and Chishminskiy 229. The duration of the two periods (sprouting-flowering and flowering-ripeness) was influenced by features of the used varieties and the temperature condition (r = -0.472, the link is significant and r = -0.788). The duration of the sprouting-ripeness period depended on the average daily temperatures (r = -0.481), the amount of precipitation (r = 0.937), and the HTC (hydrothermal coefficient) (r = 0.927). Precipitation increased the duration of the full vegetation period (r = 0.892). On average, over 10 years of research on field pea it should be noted that there wasa close relationship between the duration of its vegetation period (r = 0.844), the duration of the flowering-ripeness period (r = 0.679) and the yield of seeds. The relationship between the seed yield and the sowing - sprouting period (r = 0.451) and between the seed yield and the sprouting - flowering period (r = 0.446) was revealed. The connection was found positive. The connection with the average daily air temperature of this period was negative (r = -0.213). The results of the research can be successfully used during cultivation of domestic and foreign varieties of field pea. In international practice, the results of this experiment can be successfully applied in selective improvement of field pea and the development of new, high-tech varieties

© Medwell Journals, 2015. The study considers the topical issues of the modern conceptology in particular, the being and representation of gender concepts in a language. The study provides the linguo-culturological analysis of paroemias containing concepts falling within the, general conceptual term 'family' mother-in-law, father-in-law, widower, widow (wdowa-wdowiec) in the Russian and Polish languages. The performed linguo-culturological analysis of conceptual terms relating to the general concept 'family' has proved that there is some dialogue between the two Slavic languages and cultures

Changes in stroke volume in rat pups during adaptation to various regimens of motor activity

    Get PDF
Experiments on rat pups showed that regular exercise for 4 weeks starting from day 14 after birth considerably increased stroke volume. Similar dynamics of stroke volume was observed in subsequent period of restraint locomotion. Experimental hypokinesia starting from day 14 after birth significantly limited the age-dependent increase in SV. However, subsequent exercise training promoted the increase in stroke volume in these rats. In trained rats the regulation of stroke volume during hypokinesia remained unchanged, while in restrained rats subsequent training was associated with considerable reduction of sympathetic regulation of stroke volume

We report synthesis of a novel 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinazoline derivative, named 2-(6,8-dibromo-3-(4-hydroxycyclohexyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinazolin-2-yl)phenol (1), which was obtained from the hydrochloride of 4-((2-amino-3,5-dibromobenzyl)amino)cyclohexan-1-ol (ambroxol hydrochloride) and salicylaldehyde in EtOH. The resulting compound was produced in the form of colorless crystals of the composition 1∙0.5EtOH. The formation of the single product was confirmed by the IR and 1H spectroscopy, single-crystal and powder X-ray diffraction, and elemental analysis. The molecule of 1 contains a chiral tertiary carbon of the 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine fragment and the crystal structure of 1∙0.5EtOH is a racemate. Optical properties of 1∙0.5EtOH were revealed by UV-vis spectroscopy in MeOH and it was established that the compound absorbs exclusively in the UV region up to about 350 nm. 1∙0.5EtOH in MeOH exhibits dual emission and the emission spectra contains bands at about 340 and 446 nm upon excitation at 300 and 360 nm, respectively. The DFT calculations were performed to verify the structure as well as electronic and optical properties of 1. ADMET properties of the R-isomer of 1 were evaluated using the SwissADME, BOILED-Egg, and ProTox-II tools. As evidenced from the blue dot position in the BOILED-Egg plot, both human blood–brain barrier penetration and gastrointestinal absorption properties are positive with the positive PGP effect on the molecule. Molecular docking was applied to examine the influence of the structures of both R-isomer and S-isomer of 1 on a series of the SARS-CoV-2 proteins. According to the docking analysis results, both isomers of 1 were found to be active against all the applied SARS-CoV-2 proteins with the best binding affinities with Papain-like protease (PLpro) and nonstructural protein 3 (Nsp3_range 207–379-AMP). Ligand efficiency scores for both isomers of 1 inside the binding sites of the applied proteins were also revealed and compared with the initial ligands. Molecular dynamics simulations were also applied to evaluate the stability of complexes of both isomers with Papain-like protease (PLpro) and nonstructural protein 3 (Nsp3_range 207–379-AMP). The complex of the S-isomer with Papain-like protease (PLpro) was found to be highly unstable, while the other complexes are stable. © 2023 by the authors.Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian FederationThis work was partially performed using resources of the Research Resource Center «Natural Resource Management and Physico–Chemical Research» (University of Tyumen). Dynamics of Ethno-Social Structure and Social Wellbeing of Population in Polyethnic Region (by Example of Republic of Bashkortostan)

    Get PDF
The issue of ethno-social structure dynamics and ethno-social wellbeing of the population in the Republic of Bashkortostan is considered on the basis of the results of the censuses and data of ethno-sociological surveys conducted in 1989-2010 in the region. Special attention is paid to the representation of a particular ethnic group in the leading sectors of industry, administration, education. For a better vision of ethno-social development of the Republic in general the tables with data on types of economic activities and social identification are given. The results of a comparative analysis of social structure of the major ethnic groups of Bashkortostan are presented: Russians, Bashkirs, Tatars. The paper raised the question of their unequal access to power and management structures, to the budget places in universities etc. An attempt was made to prove the direct influence of the transformation of ethno-social structure on social well-being of the population and their correlation. The authors come to the conclusion that fundamental changes that occurred during the market economy brought about changes in ethno-social population structure. There are new social stratas (classes), which in the scientific literature began to be divided according to their social status and well-being

1,10-diaza-18-crown-ether, modified by phosphonate pendant arms - Synthesis, structure, and picrate extraction properties

    Get PDF
Reaction of O,O′-diisopropyl-3-methyl-1,2-butadienylphosphonate with 1,10-diaza-18-crown-6 in the presence of a catalytic amount of iPrONa leads to the new crown-ether derivative, containing phosphonate pendant arms (L). The structure of the compound obtained was investigated by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, IR, 1H and 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy, and microanalysis. In the crystal structure the side arms of L are in an anti disposition relative to the macrocyclic cavity. It was established that phosphorylation of 1,10-diaza-18-crown-6 by allenylphosphonate results in an increase of extraction of NaPic and KPic, whereas LiPic and NH4Pic are extracted practically in the same level. © 2008 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
