Borylation of calix[4]resorcinols under ultrasonic irradiation
The use of ultrasonic irradiation in the reactions of trialkyl borates with octahydroxytetraoctyl[l 4] metacyclophane allowed us obtaining tetraalkoxyboratocavitands with higher yields and under milder conditions. We first obtained 1,3,2-dioxaborolane and 1,3,2-dioxaborinane derivatives of tetraoctyl[l 4]meta-cyclophane using ultrasonic irradiation. Boratocavitands were converted into the corresponding amine complexes with isobutylamine. © 2012 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Two-dimensional quantum interference contributions to the magnetoresistance of Nd{2-x}Ce{x}CuO{4-d} single crystals
The 2D weak localization effects at low temperatures T = (0.2-4.2)K have been
investigated in nonsuperconducting sample Nd{1.88}Ce{0.12}CuO{4-d} and in the
normal state of the superconducting sample Nd{1.82}Ce{0.18}CuO{4-d} for B>B_c2.
The phase coherence time and the effective thickness of a conducting CuO_2
layer have been estimated by the fitting of 2D weak localization theory
expressions to the magnetoresistivity data for the normal to plane and the

Метастатический почечно-клеточный рак почки у ребенка 10 лет. Возможности таргетной терапии (клиническое наблюдение)
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is rare in children, its metastatic form is even rarer. At present there is no treatment protocol for children with RCC. This clinical observation presented the patient 10 year old with RCC metastases to the lungs. After radical surgery, after targeted sorafenib therapy the patient has a positive dynamics. At present his progression-free survival is 30 months.Почечно-клеточный рак (ПКР) редко встречается у детей, а его метастатическая форма еще реже. На настоящий момент не существует протоколов лечения для детей с ПКР, не изучены возможности современной таргетной терапии. В данной статье представлено клиническое наблюдение пациента 10 лет с ПКР и метастазами в легкие. После тотального удаления опухоли почки на фоне проведения таргетной терапии сорафенибом у пациента достигнута положительная динамика. В настоящий момент выживаемость без прогрессирования составляет 30 мес
