Fulfilling Multiple Intent Queries Using Compound Responses
Information-seeking queries to a virtual assistant can often cover multiple facets of a given topic. For example, a query of the form “what is the latest on covid-19” can reasonably be answered with the latest epidemiological statistics, medical information of disease symptoms, news relating to disease spread, etc. No single interpretation of such a query is likely to meet all of the user\u27s original information-seeking intent. This disclosure describes techniques for answering queries that can include multiple reasonable answers derived from different corpora. The techniques incorporate information from the different corpora and presents it in a manner that obviates the need for a user to understand finer distinctions between the corpora. Effectively, the techniques provide a compound response that is stitched together from available facts, related news stories, and other sources of information to cover the user’s information needs
Genetic diversity assessment using RAPD primers in insecticide resistant populations of diamondback moth Plutella xylostella (Linn.)
Genetic diversity in acephate, spinosad and Cry2Ab resistant Plutella xylostella collected from three states of India was assessed by RAPD markers. The DNA extracted from larvae was subjected to polymerase chain reaction using 10 RAPD primers. The highest number alleles (7) were produced by primer ABA-13, followed by six alleles each by primers ABA-2, 7, 8, 11, 14; five alleles each were produced by ABA-4, 9, 10, 12. UPGMA analysis clustered the acephate, spinosad and Cry2Ab treated P.xylostella populations into two groups with overall similarity level of 33%, 27% and 34% respectively. Cluster A consisted 11 samples while Cluster B consisted only F1 of acephate and spinosad treated Karnataka population. In Cry2Ab treated population Cluster B comprised 11 samples and Cluster A had out grouped singly i.e. F0 generation from Karnataka. The genetic variability between the acephate, spinosad and Cry2Ab treated populations ranged from 33 to 69%, 27 to 56% and 34 to 69% respectively. Acephate and spinosad treated F1 population and Cry2Ab treated F0 population from Karnataka were out grouped from rest of the populations
Double burden of nutritional disorder among Indian women: an assessment of differentials and determinants
In India, over the years, the progress in women’s nutritional status has been less impressive and remains as a major problem for health policy. The dual burden of nutritional disorder of women in India is posing a serious challenge not only for nutritional policy but also for socio-economic and welfare policies. Therefore, this study assess the determinants of double nutritional disorders among Indian women and consequential within group deviations and between group differentials. Third round of National Family Health Survey (NFHS-3, 2005-06) data, descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviations and multivariate statistics such as multinomial logistic regression and Multiple Classifications Analysis (MCA) are used for the purpose of this study. The existing socio-economic and behavioural differences and consequential obligations that women face threaten the nutritional balance in India. Obliteration of these anomalies is important to ensure the balanced nutritional status for women in India

Order in extremal trajectories
Given a chaotic dynamical system and a time interval in which some quantity
takes an unusually large average value, what can we say of the trajectory that
yields this deviation? As an example, we study the trajectories of the
archetypical chaotic system, the baker's map. We show that, out of all
irregular trajectories, a large-deviation requirement selects (isolated) orbits
that are periodic or quasiperiodic. We discuss what the relevance of this
calculation may be for dynamical systems and for glasses
A Remotely Operable Facility for Fabrication of Fuel Pins for test Irradiation
AbstractA laboratory scale facility has been set up for fabrication of test fuel pins through sol-gel route for irradiation in FBTR, Kalpakkam. The facility is a train of glove boxes fitted with master slave manipulators for carrying out various operations involved in the fuel fabricat ion process. The paper describes the design features of the equipment and mechanisms for automation, developed for microsphere production and other processes. The design features include control system and vision systems for man- machine interface
Glass Transition of Hard Sphere Systems: Molecular Dynamics and Density Functional Theory
The glass transition of a hard sphere system is investigated within the
framework of the density functional theory (DFT). Molecular dynamics (MD)
simulations are performed to study dynamical behavior of the system on the one
hand and to provide the data to produce the density field for the DFT on the
other hand. Energy landscape analysis based on the DFT shows that there appears
a metastable (local) free energy minimum representing an amorphous state as the
density is increased. This state turns out to become stable, compared with the
uniform liquid, at some density, around which we also observe sharp slowing
down of the relaxation in MD simulations.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
Muon-Spin Rotation Spectra in the Mixed Phase of High-T_c Superconductors : Thermal Fluctuations and Disorder Effects
We study muon-spin rotation (muSR) spectra in the mixed phase of highly
anisotropic layered superconductors, specifically Bi_2+xSr_2-xCaCu_2O_8+delta
(BSCCO), by modeling the fluid and solid phases of pancake vortices using
liquid-state and density functional methods. The role of thermal fluctuations
in causing motional narrowing of muSR lineshapes is quantified in terms of a
first-principles theory of the flux-lattice melting transition. The effects of
random point pinning are investigated using a replica treatment of liquid state
correlations and a replicated density functional theory. Our results indicate
that motional narrowing in the pure system, although substantial, cannot
account for the remarkably small linewidths obtained experimentally at
relatively high fields and low temperatures. We find that satisfactory
agreement with the muSR data for BSCCO in this regime can be obtained through
the ansatz that this ``phase'' is characterized by frozen short-range
positional correlations reflecting the structure of the liquid just above the
melting transition. This proposal is consistent with recent suggestions of a
``pinned liquid'' or ``glassy'' state of pancake vortices in the presence of
pinning disorder. Our results for the high-temperature liquid phase indicate
that measurable linewidths may be obtained in this phase as a consequence of
density inhomogeneities induced by the pinning disorder. The results presented
here comprise a unified, first-principles theoretical treatment of muSR spectra
in highly anisotropic layered superconductors in terms of a controlled set of

Non-vacuum Solutions of Bianchi Type VI_0 Universe in f(R) Gravity
In this paper, we solve the field equations in metric f(R) gravity for
Bianchi type VI_0 spacetime and discuss evolution of the expanding universe. We
find two types of non-vacuum solutions by taking isotropic and anisotropic
fluids as the source of matter and dark energy. The physical behavior of these
solutions is analyzed and compared in the future evolution with the help of
some physical and geometrical parameters. It is concluded that in the presence
of isotropic fluid, the model has singularity at and represents
continuously expanding shearing universe currently entering into phantom phase.
In anisotropic fluid, the model has no initial singularity and exhibits the
uniform accelerating expansion. However, the spacetime does not achieve

Testing "microscopic" theories of glass-forming liquids
We assess the validity of "microscopic" approaches of glass-forming liquids
based on the sole k nowledge of the static pair density correlations. To do so
we apply them to a benchmark provided by two liquid models that share very
similar static pair density correlation functions while disp laying distinct
temperature evolutions of their relaxation times. We find that the approaches
are unsuccessful in describing the difference in the dynamical behavior of the
two models. Our study is not exhausti ve, and we have not tested the effect of
adding corrections by including for instance three-body density correlations.
Yet, our results appear strong enough to challenge the claim that the slowd own
of relaxation in glass-forming liquids, for which it is well established that
the changes of the static structure factor with temperature are small, can be
explained by "microscopic" appr oaches only requiring the static pair density
