The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that affect the demand andsupply of rice in Riau Province. The data used is the panel data ..time series from2006 until 2010 and cross section from each district/city except Pekanbaru andKepulauan Meranti. The data analyzed used simultaneous equation 2SLS method.The research result showed that all structural equation models have signs in2accordance economic criteria. Determinant coefficient (R ) from 0.33 until 0.99 andF value from 5.38 until 3,320.10. The rice supply affacted by year end stock ofBulog, import and rice production. Pengembangan Buku Panduan Keluarga Adil Gender untuk Mencegah Kekerasan dalam Rumah Tangga

The aim of this study was to producing gender equality family guidelines book. Especially the aim of the study in the first year were to 1) identify spouse comprehension of gender and gender equality; 2) identify realization of gender equality in family; 3) identify spouse comprehension of domestic violence; 4) need assessment of gender equality family guidelines book; and 5) design a gender equality family guidelines book. The study has using Borg and Gall research and development approach. Three research steps is conducted in the first year, were: 1) preface studied and collected information about data which needed to develop product; 2) planned (concept defined, goal formulated, and determined the book provide organized; 3) developed the initial product (prepared the book subject matter, and arranged the book). The Subject of the preface study were 260 spouse. Population in the study were spouse who lived in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Sample taking was purposive stratified area sampling. The instrument of the study were gender and gender equality comprehension test, domestic violence comprehension test, gender equality realization in family questionnaire and need assessment questionnaire. The result of this study showing that 1) spouse comprehension of gender and gender equality was low; 2) realization of gender equality in family was unbalanced; 3) spouse comprehension of domestic violence was low; 4) there was a need of guidelines book which used to guiding to realize gender equality in family that content subject matter as gender, gender inequality, gender equity, and application of gender equality in famil

Peran Lansia dalam Pelestarian Budaya

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran lansia dalam pelestarian budaya di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan sumber data para lansia di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi berpartisipasi. Data dianalisis secara induktif dengan kategorisasi dan perbandingan berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran lansia dalam pelestarian budaya Jawa adalah sebagai 1) teladan atau guru dari berbagai sisi kehidupan berkarya, berkomunikasi, bertingkah laku, dan berbusana; 2) pengarah, penasehat, dan pengendali dalam kehidupan kesehariannya yang meliputi lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan masyarakat, dan lingkungan pekerjaan atau profesi bagi yang masih aktif bekerja; 3) penyemangat, secara aktif dapat memberikan semangat kepada yang lebih muda dalam lingkungan keluarga, tempat tinggal dan tempat kerjanya; 4) sahabat, teman di lingkungan keluarga, tempat tinggal maupun di tempat bekerja

Hubungan Komunikasi Seksual dalam Keluarga dan Rasa Malu dengan Kecenderungan Perilaku Homoseksual pada Santri

This study aims to examine relationship between sexual communication in the family, shame, and the tendency of homosexual behaviour at santri. The main hypothesis in this sudy is that there is relationship between sexual communication in the family, shame, and the tendency of homosexual behaviour at santri. The minor hypotheses are 1. Sexual communication has relationship with the tendency of homosexual behaviour at santri; and 2. Shame has relationship with the tendency of homosexual behaviour at santri. Method used in this study is quantitative method. The population in this study is students of islamic boarding schools at the education level equivalent with Madrasah Aliyah. From 12 Islamic boarding schools, 3 boarding schools are selected to be a place of research, with amount of sample 170 santri. The research instrument used are the scale of homosexual behaviour tendencies, the scale of sexual communication in the family, and the scale of shame that has been tested for its validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 20.0 program. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between shame, sexual communication, and the tendency of homosexual behaviour in santri. Furthermore, there is also a significant negative value between sexual communication in the family and the tendency of homosexual behaviour in santri. Whereas in relationship between shame and the tendency of homosexual behaviour in santri does not have any negative value. So in this study it can be concluded that the better the sexual communication in the family is given it will reduce the tendency of homosexual behaviour, and the researcher gives the program design to the boarding school by giving sexual education to the students of " Sex Education "

Detection of bridge emission above 50 GeV from the Crab pulsar with the MAGIC telescopes

The Crab pulsar is the only astronomical pulsed source detected at very high energy (VHE, E>100GeV) gamma-rays. The emission mechanism of VHE pulsation is not yet fully understood, although several theoretical models have been proposed. In order to test the new models, we measured the light curve and the spectra of the Crab pulsar with high precision by means of deep observations. We analyzed 135 hours of selected MAGIC data taken between 2009 and 2013 in stereoscopic mode. In order to discuss the spectral shape in connection with lower energies, 4.6 years of {\it Fermi}-LAT data were also analyzed. The known two pulses per period were detected with a significance of $8.0 \sigma$ and $12.6 \sigma$. In addition, significant emission was found between the two pulses with $6.2 \sigma$. We discovered the bridge emission above 50 GeV between the two main pulses. This emission can not be explained with the existing theories. First broadband characterization and redshift determination of the VHE blazar MAGIC J2001+439

We aim to characterize the broadband emission from 2FGL J2001.1+4352, which has been associated with the unknown-redshift blazar MG4 J200112+4352. Based on its gamma-ray spectral properties, it was identified as a potential very high energy (VHE; E > 100 GeV) gamma-ray emitter. The source was observed with MAGIC first in 2009 and later in 2010 within a multi-instrument observation campaign. The MAGIC observations yielded 14.8 hours of good quality stereoscopic data. The object was monitored at radio, optical and gamma-ray energies during the years 2010 and 2011. The source, named MAGIC J2001+439, is detected for the first time at VHE with MAGIC at a statistical significance of 6.3 {\sigma} (E > 70 GeV) during a 1.3-hour long observation on 2010 July 16. The multi-instrument observations show variability in all energy bands with the highest amplitude of variability in the X-ray and VHE bands. We also organized deep imaging optical observations with the Nordic Optical Telescope in 2013 to determine the source redshift. We determine for the first time the redshift of this BL Lac object through the measurement of its host galaxy during low blazar activity. Using the observational evidence that the luminosities of BL Lac host galaxies are confined to a relatively narrow range, we obtain z = 0.18 +/- 0.04. Additionally, we use the Fermi-LAT and MAGIC gamma-ray spectra to provide an independent redshift estimation, z = 0.17 +/- 0.10. Using the former (more accurate) redshift value, we adequately describe the broadband emission with a one-zone SSC model for different activity states and interpret the few-day timescale variability as produced by changes in the high-energy component of the electron energy distribution.Comment: 17 pages, 15 figures, Accepted for publication in A&
