    This article considers the issues of forensic structural engineering examination to determine the quality of finishing works. The procedure for carrying out these works has been characterized, attention has been paid to building regulations and rules regarding the execution and acceptance of works on finishing coatings. The mandatory requirements for their quality are given and described. The process of forensic structural engineering conduct has been determined and the main problems and issues that arise while establishing the quality of work performed has been outlined. The main technical characteristics of the construction work on the implementation of the finishing coating, their characteristics are provided. A list of needed documents that are properly executed when ordering the execution of a finishing coating is discussed. Since in practice while conducting forensic structural engineering to determine the quality of finishing works, as well as during surveys, difficulties arise in their production. After all, quality control in construction includes obtaining factual data and comparing them with the established characteristics. The problem of checking the work performed is also considered. Attention is paid to the problem of conducting surveys on such works in order to correctly diagnose and identify technical characteristics of the works being carried out. The principles of conformity assessment are presented, for instance, the functional approach includes such processes as: selection, determination, review and type approval. The main approaches while examining conducted works are revealed. The description of peculiarities when accepting finishing works, as well as mistakes made by builders in performing such works are considered.У цій статті розглянуто питання щодо проведення будівельно-технічної експертизи з визначення якості оздоблювальних робіт. Надано характеристику порядку проведення цих робіт, приділено увагу будівельним нормам і правилам, що стосуються виконання та приймання робіт з оздоблення. Наведено обов’язкові вимоги, що висуваються до якості таких робіт. Описано процес проведення будівельно-технічної експертизи й основні проблеми та питання, які виникають під час визначення якості виконаних робіт. Наведено основні технічні особливості проведення оздоблювальних будівельних робіт, їх характеристики, перелік необхідних документів, які потрібно оформлювати під час замовлення оздоблювального покриття. Розглянуто таку проблему, як перевірка якості виконаних робіт. Приділено увагу проблемі з проведення обстежень таких робіт для правильного діагностування та виявлення технічних характеристик проведених робіт

    Transient Activation of Meox1 Is an Early Component of the Gene Regulatory Network Downstream of Hoxa2

    Hox genes encode transcription factors that regulate morphogenesis in all animals with bilateral symmetry. Although Hox genes have been extensively studied, their molecular function is not clear in vertebrates, and only a limited number of genes regulated by Hox transcription factors have been identified. Hoxa2 is required for correct development of the second branchial arch, its major domain of expression. We now show that Meox1 is genetically downstream from Hoxa2 and is a direct target. Meox1 expression is downregulated in the second arch of Hoxa2 mouse mutant embryos. In chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), Hoxa2 binds to the Meox1 proximal promoter. Two highly conserved binding sites contained in this sequence are required for Hoxa2-dependent activation of the Meox1 promoter. Remarkably, in the absence of Meox1 and its close homolog Meox2, the second branchial arch develops abnormally and two of the three skeletal elements patterned by Hoxa2 are malformed. Finally, we show that Meox1 can specifically bind the DNA sequences recognized by Hoxa2 on its functional target genes.     The article outlines the mandatory quality requirements for manufactured and installed metal entrance shockproof doors, which should ensure the safety of life, health and property of citizens. The main technical features of these designs and their characteristics are presented. The problem of quality control is considered, since quality is a guarantee of reliability and a guarantee that doors will serve for a long time and reliably. The installation of high-quality "armored" doors will not only protect housing from unauthorized penetration, but also help to isolate the premise from the external environment; therefore in the problem of selecting entrance metal doors, an important place is occupied by the issue of heat and sound insulation. While choosing a good metal door, every detail should be taken into account. The quality of the goods and safety of the premise directly depend on all design components. The article raises such a topical issue as the establishment of quality works on manufacture, storage, transportation and mounting of entrance metal shockproof doors while performing forensic construction and technical examination. The technical characteristics of building materials that can be used in this case are presented. The authors also pointed out that it is very important to resolve disputes on this type of researches, so this is the availability of technical documentation. All data about the product should be included in this documentation up to the information on transportation and storage, since this information will much facilitate the work of experts in the future. After all, the establishment of the quality of this type of products is a fairly complex and time-consuming process. While determining the quality, all details are important, starting from the quality of the used building materials, the works on manufacturing of the door blocks, their storage and transportation conditions, and finishing the placing (mounting).Изложены обязательные требования к качеству изготовленных и установленных входных металлических противоударных дверей, которые должны обеспечивать безопасность жизни, здоровья и имущества граждан. Приведены основные технические особенности этих конструкций, их характеристики. Рассмотрена проблема проверки качества, поскольку качество это гарантия надежности и гарантия того, что двери будут служить долго и надежно. Установка качественных «бронированных» дверей не только обеспечит защиту жилья от несанкционированного проникновения, но и поможет изолировать помещение от внешней среды, а поэтому в проблеме выбора входных металлических дверей, важное место занимает вопрос тепло- и звукоизоляции. При выборе хороших металлических дверей следует учитывать каждую деталь. От всех составляющих конструкции непосредственно зависит качество товара и безопасность помещения. В статье поднимается такая насущная проблема как установление качества работ по изготовлению, хранению, транспортировке и монтажу входных металлических противоударных дверей при проведении строительно-технической экспертизы. Приводятся технические характеристики строительных материалов, которые могут быть при этом использованы. А также указано на то, что очень важно для разрешения споров по этому виду исследований, так это наличие технической документации. В нее должны быть внесены все данные об изделии, вплоть до сведений о транспортировке и хранении, поскольку эти сведения в последующем намного облегчат работу экспертов. Ведь определение качества этого вида изделий является достаточно сложным и трудоемким процессом. При определении качества важны все детали, начиная от качества применяемых строительных материалов, самих работ по изготовлению дверных блоков, их условиями хранения и транспортировки и заканчивая установкой (монтажом).Викладено обов’язкові вимоги до якості виготовлених і встановлених вхідних металевих протиударних дверей, які повинні забезпечувати безпеку життя, здоров’я та майна громадян.     On the concentration of large deviations for fat tailed distributions, with application to financial data

    Large deviations for fat tailed distributions, i.e. those that decay slower than exponential, are not only relatively likely, but they also occur in a rather peculiar way where a finite fraction of the whole sample deviation is concentrated on a single variable. The regime of large deviations is separated from the regime of typical fluctuations by a phase transition where the symmetry between the points in the sample is spontaneously broken. For stochastic processes with a fat tailed microscopic noise, this implies that while typical realizations are well described by a diffusion process with continuous sample paths, large deviation paths are typically discontinuous. For eigenvalues of random matrices with fat tailed distributed elements, a large deviation where the trace of the matrix is anomalously large concentrates on just a single eigenvalue, whereas in the thin tailed world the large deviation affects the whole distribution. These results find a natural application to finance. Since the price dynamics of financial stocks is characterized by fat tailed increments, large fluctuations of stock prices are expected to be realized by discrete jumps. Interestingly, we find that large excursions of prices are more likely realized by continuous drifts rather than by discontinuous jumps. Indeed, auto-correlations suppress the concentration of large deviations. Financial covariance matrices also exhibit an anomalously large eigenvalue, the market mode, as compared to the prediction of random matrix theory. We show that this is explained by a large deviation with excess covariance rather than by one with excess volatility.Comment: 38 pages, 12 figure

    Identification of clusters of investors from their real trading activity in a financial market

    We use statistically validated networks, a recently introduced method to validate links in a bipartite system, to identify clusters of investors trading in a financial market. Specifically, we investigate a special database allowing to track the trading activity of individual investors of the stock Nokia. We find that many statistically detected clusters of investors show a very high degree of synchronization in the time when they decide to trade and in the trading action taken. We investigate the composition of these clusters and we find that several of them show an over-expression of specific categories of investors.Comment: 25 pages, 5 figure

    The chapter examines the role of geospatial data in Russia’s online ecosystem. Facilitated by the rise of geographic information systems and user-generated content, the distribution of geospatial data has blurred the line between physical spaces and their virtual representations. The chapter discusses different sources of these data available for Digital Russian Studies (e.g., social data and crowdsourced databases) together with the novel techniques for extracting geolocation from various data formats (e.g., textual documents and images). It also scrutinizes different ways of using these data, varying from mapping the spatial distribution of social and political phenomena to investigating the use of geotag data for cultural practices’ digitization to exploring the use of geoweb for narrating individual and collective identities online

    Анализ клеточного состава нативной трансплантационной аутосмеси, используемой для пластики дефектов костной ткани

    The cell composition of native transplant autosmes (NTA) used for bone plastics was studied. The histological examination showed the fragments of bone beams with preserved osteoblasts, the foci of myeloid and lymphoid hematopoiesis and the fibrin deposits, which suggested the presence of MMSCs. Immunophenotyping of the NTA cell population revealed a high level of expression of the surface markers CD105, CD73, and CD90 characteristic for MMSC. DNA-flow cytometry of the bone dust confirmed almost complete preservation of graft viability on the 3rd day of culturing (97.7 % of live cells). The data of this study confirm the presence of the osteogenic, osteoinductive, and osteoconductive properties of the bone dust and emphasize the importance of a further study of this-type bone graft for use in surgical interventions.Проведено исследование клеточного состава нативной трансплантационной аутосмеси (НТА), используемой для костной пластики. Гистологическое исследование показало фрагменты костных балок с сохранившимися остеобластами, очаги миелоидного и лимфоидного кроветворения и отложения фибрина, что позволило предположить наличие мультипотентных мезенхимальных стромальных клеток (ММСК). При имммунофенотипировании популяции клеток НТА выявлен высокий уровень экспрессии поверхностных маркеров CD105, CD73 и CD90, характерных для ММСК. ДНК-проточная цитофлоурометрия костной аутосмеси подтвердила практически полное сохранение жизнеспособности трансплантата на третьи сутки культивирования (97,7 % живых клеток). Полученные данные свидетельствуют о наличии у нативной трансплантационной аутосмеси остеогенных, остеоиндуктивных, остеокондуктивных свойств и обосновывают дальнейшее ее исследование с целью использования в качестве аутотрансплантата при хирургических вмешательствах
