DIVISION OF THE ROLES AND CONTRACTING IN PRIMARY HEALTH CARE

    Get PDF
The introduction of market mechanisms into the public health sphere necessitates a clear distinction of the roles of main participants in medical service accomplishing. The processes of contracting between vendors and customers of health services are based on this distinction. This communication presents the end product of seminars supported by the "H+" Swiss hospital association in Bulgaria entitled "A contract for providing primary health care for the citizens of municipality X". The basic and secondary elements of the contract contents as well as the essence and importance of the contracting as a component of public health reform in Bulgaria are discussed. It is emphasized that the introduction of contracting relations into the public health system will ensure a better control on the amount and quality of the health services and on financial means` movement. The contracting will favourably influence on the public and private health sectors thus representing an important component of introducing the market economics, especially in the health sphere

Abstract KALINOVA St., S. KOSTADINOVA and A. HRISTOSKOV, 2014. Nitrogen use efficiency and maize yield response to nitrogen rate and foliar fertilizing. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., Field experiment was conducted during 2009-2012 to evaluate the effect of nitrogen fertilization and new foliar products on grain yields and nitrogen use efficiency in maize. Foliar fertilizer Cereal mix (ME) was jointly applied with biostimulant Amalgerol in doses 3 (A3), 4 (A4) and 5 (A5) L/ha. The experimental design consisted of a fully randomized block design in four replications. The studied treatments were

Artificial intelligence – the new suggestion for biomedicine, dentistry and healthcare

The development of technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and their application in medicine is growing rapidly. Innovations in digital technology, telemedicine, 5G technology and artificial intelligence (AI) create new opportunities for the development of the healthcare system. The aim of the present study is to explore the possibilities for the application of artificial intelligence in biomedicine, dentistry, healthcare and healthcare. In recent years there have been many major innovations, including the introduction of many new information and communication technologies. Digital innovations, including the further inclusion of telemedicine, the development of 5th generation wireless networks (5G) and artificial intelligence (AI) approaches, create an exceptional ecosystem for new health opportunities. The digital health sector creates a favorable environment for the provision of health services at a very high level

Effect of cluster size of chalcogenide glass nanocolloidal solutions on the surface morphology of spin-coated amorphous films

Amorphous chalcogenide thin film deposition can be achieved by a spin-coating technique from proper solutions of the corresponding glass. Films produced in this way exhibit certain grain texture, which is presumably related to the cluster size in solution. This paper deals with the search of such a correlation between grain size of surface morphology of as-deposited spin-coated As33S67 chalcogenide thin films and cluster size of the glass in butylamine solutions. Optical absorption spectroscopy and dynamic light scattering were employed to study optical properties and cluster size distributions in the solutions at various glass concentrations. Atomic force microscopy is used to study the surface morphology of the surface of as-deposited and thermally stabilized spin-coated films. Dynamic light scattering revealed a concentration dependence of cluster size in solution. Spectral-dependence dynamic light scattering studies showed an interesting athermal photo-aggregation effect in the liquid state.Comment: 15 pages, 8 figure

In order to determine the yield of methane in a Co-degradation study with different substrates. The study involved the following substrates : WAS only; WAS+silage 2:1; WAS+silage 1:1; WAS+silage 1:2. Studieed is the contents of the macro and micronutrient in the tested substrates and biogas yield after methane fermentation. It was found that major disadvantage of the BMP test is the fact that it does not provide short-term results because of it s duration, methane yield during a shorter period could be predicted by evaluating the reaction rate provided by the rate constant

Postharvest quality and safety of fresh-cut melon fruits coated with water soluble chitosan films

The research presents the effect of novel edible coatings based on low molecular weight chitosan on some properties of fresh-cut melon fruits – weight loss, total soluble solids, total acidity, mechanical strength and bacteria growth. Three different compositions were used as coatings – pure chitosan, chitosan and Ca lactate and alginate/chitosan multilayers. It was shown that the additional alginate layer substantially improves the protective properties of pure chitosan coating, resulting in preservation of cell structure. Negligible negative effect on the antibacterial activity of pure chitosan is demonstrated
