Angular distribution of positrons in coherent pair production in deformed crystals
We investigate the angular distribution of positrons in the coherent process
electronpositron pair creation process by high-energy photons in a periodically
deformed single crystal with a complex base. The formula for the corresponding
differential cross-section is derived for an arbitrary deformation field. The
case is considered in detail when the photon enters into the crystal at small
angles with respect to a crystallographic axis. The results of the numerical
calculations are presented for and diamond single crystals
and Moliere parameterization of the screened atomic potentials in the case of
the deformation field generated by the acoustic wave of S-type.Comment: 11 pages, 4 figures, figures and references adde
Theory of pinning in a Superconducting Thin Film Pierced by a Ferromagnetic Columnar Defect
This is an analytical study of pinning and spontaneous vortex phase is a
system consisting of a superconducting thin film pierced by a long
ferromagnetic columnar defect of finite radius . The magnetic fields,
screening currents, energy and pinning forces for this system are calculated.
The interaction between the magnetic field of vortices and the magnetization
outside the plane of the film and its close proximity enhances vortex pinning
significantly. Spontaneous vortex phase appears when the magnetization of the
columnar defect is increased above a critical value. Transitions between phases
characterized by different number of flux quanta are also studied. These
results are generalized to the case when the superconductor is pierced by an
array of columnar defects.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures, Accepted for publication in Phys. Rev.
Coherent pair production in deformed crystals with a complex base
We investigate the coherent electron-positron pair creation by high-energy
photons in a periodically deformed single crystal with a complex base. The
formula for the corresponding differential cross-section is derived for an
arbitrary deformation field. The conditions are specified under which the
influence of the deformation is considerable. The case is considered in detail
when the photon enters into the crystal at small angles with respect to a
crystallographic axis. The results of the numerical calculations are presented
for single crystal and Moliere parametrization of the
screened atomic potentials in the case of the deformation field generated by
the acoustic wave of type. In dependence of the parameters, the presence of
deformation can either enhance or reduce the pair creation cross-section. This
can be used to control the parameters of the positron sources for storage rings
and colliders.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figures, misprint in the numerical coefficients in figure

Mechanism for flux guidance by micrometric antidot arrays in superconducting films
A study of magnetic flux penetration in a superconducting film patterned with
arrays of micron sized antidots (microholes) is reported. Magneto-optical
imaging (MOI) of a YBCO film shaped as a long strip with perpendicular antidot
arrays revealed both strong guidance of flux, and at the same time large
perturbations of the overall flux penetration and flow of current. These
results are compared with a numerical flux creep simulation of a thin
superconductor with the same antidot pattern. To perform calculations on such a
complex geometry, an efficient numerical scheme for handling the boundary
conditions of the antidots and the nonlocal electrodynamics was developed. The
simulations reproduce essentially all features of the MOI results. In addition,
the numerical results give insight into all other key quantities, e.g., the
electrical field, which becomes extremely large in the narrow channels
connecting the antidots.Comment: 8 pages, 7 figure
Influence of temperature gradient on diffracted X-ray spectrum in quartz crystal
In this work characteristics of hard X-ray (with energy higher than 30 keV) were investigated. In the experiment we measured spectra of X-ray reflected by a quartz monocrystal in Laue geometry under influence of the temperature gradient. The measurements were made by the spectrometer BDER-KI-11K with 300 eV resolution on the 17.74 keV spectral line of Am241 and the spectrometer XR-100CR with 270 eV resolution on the same spectral line. An existence of temperature gradient leads to increasing of the diffracted beam intensity. The intensity was measured dependently on the temperature of one of the edge of the crystal
Preparation and structural stability of ordered nanocomposites: opal matrix - lead titanates
The conditions for the formation of nanocomposites based on the basis of lattice packings of SiO[2] nanospheres (opal matrices) with included crystallites of lead titanates (PbTiO[3] and PbTi[3]O[7]) in interspherical nanospacing are considered. For the formation of nanocomposites are used sample opal matrices with dimensions of single-domain regions >=0,1 mm.{3} The diameter of SiO[2] nanospheres was ~260 nm. Obtained nanocomposites volume >2 cm{3} in filling >20% of interspherical nanospacing PbTiO[3], PbTi[3]O[7] crystallites were size of 16-36 nm. Using X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy are studied composition and structural stability when heated nanocomposites to 550°C, which allowed the identification of a local phase transition with change of the space group. The dependence of the composition of synthesized materials on the conditions of their preparation is submitted
Coherent bremsstrahlung in periodically deformed crystals with a complex base
In the present paper we investigate coherent bremsstrahlung of high energy
electrons moving in a periodically deformed single crystal with a complex base.
The formula for corresponding differential cross-section is derived for an
arbitrary deformation field. The conditions are discussed under which the
influence of the deformation is important. The case is considered in detail
when the electron enters into the crystal at small angles with respect to a
crystallographic axis. It is shown that in dependence of the parameters, the
presence of the deformation can either enhance or reduce the bremsstrahlung
cross-section.Comment: 10 pages, 2 figure
Features of Professional Activity Reflection of the Olympiad “I Am a Professional” Participants
The article presents the results of a study about the features of pre-service teachers’ professional reflection. The average statistical results of the pre-service teachers who were the participants of the Olympiad “I am a professional” are considered in the context of students’ professional pedagogical reflection development. The research is based on the concept of three reflection functions: research, criticism and redesign, three types of reflection: prospective, situational, retrospective, the universal competences of a teacher: cognition skills, interaction skills, self skills. The study about the features of students’ professional reflection was carried out in 2021 during the period of the Olympiad “I am a professional” in the framework of three stages: planning/design, self-assessment/reflection, delayed group reflection. The sample included 261 students from universities in Moscow and other Russian regions, and 78 independent experts among acting school teachers. The methods of questioning (oral and written), content analysis, case studies, focus groups, video analysis, observation were used. As a result, the following features of students’ reflection were revealed, such as: the contradictory nature of goal-setting and the determination of the necessary conditions and means when planning a lesson; the tendency to overestimate their professional strengths and not notice insufficiently formed competencies; the tendency to give exaggerated importance to the technical aspects; misunderstanding of the professional pedagogical language against the background of an intuitively adequate understanding of many pedagogical and psychological phenomena, etc. From a practical point of view, the results obtained make it possible to identify the area of professional deficiencies of pre-service teachers and set the focus for a closer examination and more thorough extensive study of evaluative, critical and other complex thinking skills, which provide a thorough professional reflection. In this regard, reflective-analytical and reflective-design work formats become significant both in the educational process and in the practical training of pre-service teachers
Lattice effects and current reversal in superconducting ratchets
Competition between the vortex lattice and a lattice of asymmetric artificial
defects is shown to play a crucial role in ratchet experiments in
superconducting films. We present a novel and collective mechanism for current
reversal based on a reconfiguration of the vortex lattice. In contrast to
previous models of vortex current reversal, the mechanism is based on the
global response of the vortex lattice to external forces.Comment: 12 pages, 7 figure
