The article is devoted to the solution of the current problems of modern communication and intercultural educational paradigms that center around the consideration of foreign students national specific in teaching Russian at the preparatory course of military school. Specific features of the course are that the language is the central core of training, performing a communicative function, in the process of development of everyday communication skills and abilities, learning of the language for special purposes starts within the first month of training. The development of modern methods of interactive teaching of Russian as a Foreign Language contributes to the use of computer technology, thereby implementing a personality-oriented approach. We use the method of multimedia transformer. The method involves the preparation of a large number of training materials: text files, glossaries, presentation materials, workbooks, reference materials, etc. Development of own training manual is offered as a solution of a set of tasks: to take into account the specifics of the languages and mentalities of foreign military personnel, to give not only language training, but also to help to master subjects of future military occupation. This article describes two training manuals: Russian as a Foreign Language Workbook. Writing. Phonetics. Intonation (Elementary Level) and The Experimental Electronic Multilingual Dictionary of Military Terms. The Workbook is universal, since it is intended to be used in addition to different Russian as a Foreign Language textbooks. The manual consists of three sections (Writing, Phonetics, Intonation). For instance: 1) the second section Phonetics includes 14 units and four of them contain three blocks - for speakers of different languages; 2) for each intonation construction exercises including basic dictionary that is necessary for military personnel were developed. At the moment we have published Russian as a foreign language Workbooks (Writing. Phonetics. Intonation) with tasks translated into English, French and Laotian. We pursue to achieve higher intensity in the process of speaking and writing skills acquisition. Creation of the multilingual vocabulary of military terms is targeted at development of professional competence that provides removal of language barriers in the process of studying military humanitarian and technical sciences by foreigner students. The content of the manuals developed by the teachers of the Novosibirsk Technical University and the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School is analyzed in terms of implementing nationally and professionally oriented teaching of the Russian language as a foreign language

This work was aimed at studying the effect of a preparation containing nanoparticles of iron oxyhydroxide on rooting and development of the root system of cuttings of the two plant species sensitive to iron deficiency: Ribes nigrum and Ribes rubrum (Grossulariaceae). Research has shown that the iron oxyhydroxide has an inhibitory effect on the growth and development of the root system of cuttings of black and red currant. When concentration increases from 0.001% to 0.1%, rooting of cuttings decreases, and the Spearman rank correlation shows strong negative dependence of the number of roots and their length on the concentration of the preparation (Rs = -0.83 -0.94...) – the number of roots on cuttings decreases, while in case of the maximum concentration, root length significantly reduces. In the studied concentration, the preparation containing iron oxyhydroxide nanoparticles cannot be used as a stimulant of root formation for rooting of cuttings of black and red currant

    Get PDF
Melilotus officinalis (L.) Pall., known as yellow sweetclover (Fabaceae), is widely used in medicine and agriculture. At the same time, yellow sweetclover is a weed and invasive plant in Siberia. In Russia, M. officinalis is cultivated as a valuable medicinal, fodder and honey plant. Its widespread use is due to its high ecological plasticity. In recent years, an interest in cultivation of M. officinalis as a low maintenance multipurpose crop has increased in biological agriculture. The herb M. officinalis contains a rich complex of biologically active compounds. However, along with positive properties, this species, though with a rich chemical composition and high physiological activity, is toxic towards different groups of living organisms. The toxic effect of M. officinalis extracts is primarily due to the presence of coumarin. A high allelopathic activity of M. officinalis was revealed. The phytotoxic effect of herb extracts on germination of crop and weed seeds was studied in detail. Data on the fungicidal and insecticidal activity of M. officinalis were obtained. Laboratory and in situ studies showed that the aboveground part of M. officinalis is a potential source of biopesticides with a broad-spectrum effect (bioherbicidal, insecticidal and fungicidal)

Studies to assess the pollen quality and pollen productivity of blue honeysuckle were conducted on the ecosystem dendrological territory of the Siberian Botanical garden of TSU (Tomsk). Objects of research: 8 varieties and 4 species of blue honeysuckle – ‘Velvet’, ‘Berel’, ‘Vasyuganskaya’, ‘Zolushka’, ‘Lazurnaya’, ‘Ogneny Opal’, ‘Selena’, ‘Tomichka’, Lonicera altaica, L. edulis, L. kamtschatica, L. turczaninovii. It was found that the ‘Ogneny Opal’ and ‘Velvet’ varieties have low fertility, and the ‘Berel’ and L. edulis have an average fertility. Other varieties and species of honeysuckle have high pollen fertility. The viability of pollen with high values is more than 60 % – ‘Berel’, ‘Vasyuganskaya’, ‘Lazurnaya’, L. turczaninovii, L. kamtschatica, with average values from 40% to 60 % – ‘Selena’, ‘Tomichka’ and L. altaica, with low values – less than 40 % – ‘Velvet’, ‘Zolushka’, ‘Ogneny Opal’ and L. edulis. High pollen productivity – more than 20,000 pollen grains per flower – ‘Tomichka’, L. kamtschatica, L. turczaninovii and L. edulis, average productivity - from 10,000 to 20,000 pollen grains – ‘Berel’, ‘Vasyuganskaya’, ‘Zolushka’, ‘Lazurnaya’, ‘Selena’ and L. altaica, low productivity – less than 10,000 pollen grains per flower – ‘Velvet’, ‘Ogneny Opal’. It is recommended to use at least 10% of varieties with high pollen viability and pollen productivity as pollinators when creating industrial honeysuckle plantations: ‘Lazurnaya’, ‘Vasyuganskaya’, and ‘Berel’

Background. Honeysuckle is a promising berry crop for food and medical uses, which has recently become increasingly popular. Searching for sources with high content of bioactive substances to obtain new fruit cultivars with improved chemical composition continues to be relevant. Anthocyanin content and composition in honeysuckle cultivars depend on many factors, including plant reproduction conditions (temperature and humidity). Studying chemical composition of Siberian honeysuckle cultivars grown under the conditions of Western Siberia will make it possible to identify sources of high BAS content for various uses.Materials and methods. The target materials of the study were fruits of 21 honeysuckle cultivars grown in Western Siberia before and after freezing. The qualitative and quantitative composition of anthocyanins was assessed in ethanol extracts of honeysuckle fruits using HPLC technique.Results. The content of anthocyanins was higher in the fruits of honeysuckle grown in Western Siberia compared with the published data for the same cultivars reproduced in Belgorod Province (Central Black Earth Region). After freezing, the anthocyanin level in honeysuckle fruits remained the same and in some cases even increased.Conclusions. The obtained data helped to ascertain that honeysuckle fruits reproduced in Western Siberia are valuable sources of such bioactive compounds as anthocyanins

Introduction of a new model for time-continuous and non-contact investigations of in-vitro thrombolysis under physiological flow conditions

    Get PDF

Abstract

Background

Thrombolysis is a dynamic and time-dependent process influenced by the haemodynamic conditions. Currently there is no model that allows for time-continuous, non-contact measurements under physiological flow conditions. The aim of this work was to introduce such a model.

Methods

The model is based on a computer-controlled pump providing variable constant or pulsatile flows in a tube system filled with blood substitute. Clots can be fixed in a custom-built clot carrier within the tube system. The pressure decline at the clot carrier is measured as a novel way to measure lysis of the clot. With different experiments the hydrodynamic properties and reliability of the model were analyzed. Finally, the lysis rate of clots generated from human platelet rich plasma (PRP) was measured during a one hour combined application of diagnostic ultrasound (2 MHz, 0.179 W/cm2) and a thrombolytic agent (rt-PA) as it is commonly used for clinical sonothrombolysis treatments.

Results

All hydrodynamic parameters can be adjusted and measured with high accuracy. First experiments with sonothrombolysis demonstrated the feasibility of the model despite low lysis rates.

Conclusions

The model allows to adjust accurately all hydrodynamic parameters affecting thrombolysis under physiological flow conditions and for non-contact, time-continuous measurements. Low lysis rates of first sonothrombolysis experiments are primarily attributable to the high stability of the used PRP-clots.</p
