On the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients for the two-parameter quantum algebra SU(2)p,qSU(2)_{p,q}

We show that the Clebsch - Gordan coefficients for the $SU(2)_{p,q}$ - algebra depend on a single parameter Q = $\sqrt{pq}$ ,contrary to the explicit calculation of Smirnov and Wehrhahn [J.Phys.A 25 (1992),5563].Comment: 5 page

On a general analytical formula for U_q(su(3))-Clebsch-Gordan coefficients

We present the projection operator method in combination with the Wigner-Racah calculus of the subalgebra U_q(su(2)) for calculation of Clebsch-Gordan coefficients (CGCs) of the quantum algebra U_q(su(3)). The key formulas of the method are couplings of the tensor and projection operators and also a tensor form for the projection operator of U_q(su(3)). We obtain a very compact general analytical formula for the U_q(su(3)) CGCs in terms of the U_q(su(2)) Wigner 3nj-symbols.Comment: 9 pages, LaTeX; to be published in Yad. Fiz. (Phys. Dynamics of 1S0^{1}S_0 diproton formation in the pd→{pp}snpd\to \{pp\}_sn and pN→{pp}sπpN\to \{pp\}_s\pi reactions in the GeV region

Mechanisms for the production of $^1S_0$ diproton pairs, ${pp}_s$, in the $pd\to {pp}_s n$ reaction are studied at proton beam energies 0.5 -- 2 GeV in kinematics similar to those of backward elastic $pd$ scattering. This reaction provides valuable information on the short-range $NN$ and $pd$ interactions that is complementary to that investigated in the well known $pd\to dp$ and $dp\to p(0^\circ)X$ processes. The $pd\to {pp}_sn$ reaction is related to the subprocesses $\pi^0 d\to pn$ and $pN\to {pp}_s \pi$ using two different one--pion--exchange (OPE) diagrams. Within both these models a reasonable agreement could be obtained with the data below 1GeV. The similar energy dependence of the $pd\to\{pp\}_s n$ and $pd\to dp$ cross sections and the small ratio of about 1.5% in the production of $\{pp\}_s$ to deuteron final states follow naturally within the OPE models.Comment: 10 pages, 7 figures, Late
