Gallic Acid Protects Against Immobilization Stress-Induced Changes In Wistar Rats
Background: Stress triggers a wide range of body changes. Herbal medicines are rich in non specific antistress agents.Purpose: The present study was carried out to evaluate the antistress effect of gallic acid (GA), a naturally occurring plant phenol, on immobilization induced-stress in male albino Wistar rats. Methods: The immobilization stress was induced in rats by putting the rats in 20 cm Ч 7 cm plastic tubes for 2 h/day for 21 days. Rats were post orally treated with GA at a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight via intragastric intubations. Results:Treatment with GA significantly increased the food intake, body weight, organ weight (spleen, testis and brain) and the significant reduction was found in weight of liver, kidney, heart and adrenal glands, which was altered in stressed rats. GA also significantly reduced the elevated levels of plasma glucose, plasma and tissue cholesterol (CHL), triglycerides (TG), Low Density Lipid (LDL), Very Low Density Lipid (VLDL) and also significantly increased the level of High Density Lipid (HDL). A significant decrease in hematological parameters like RBC count, total and differential WBC count was also found which were increased in immobilization stress. Conclusion: GA prevented the stress-induced physiological, biochemical and hematological changes, indicating the preventive effect against stress
Development of a new fast ionic system based on antimony iodide and silver phosphate
336-342A series of
compositions of the mixed system (SbI3)100-x-(Ag3PO4)x,
where x = 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 60,
70,80 and
90 mol% have been prepared by melt quench technique and characterized by means
of X-ray diffraction (XRD), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier
transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), ion
transference number measurements and electrical conductivity studies involving
complex impedance analysis. The room temperature electrical conductivity (σ298)
data have suggested an increase value of conductivity with increasing
concentration of the dopant namely, SbI3 attaining a maximum value
of 4.210-3Scm-1 in the case of the typical
composition having 40 mol % SbI3. It has also been noticed that the
insertion of iodide ions would expand the network resulting in the opened up
structure for the favourable migration of Ag+ions within AgI, which
may be formed due to an ion exchange reaction between SbI3 and Ag3PO4
in accordance with hard and soft acids and bases (HSAB) principle.

QS ride app: An automated vs hare system
The quickly increasing number of vehicles associated commuter’s results in a rise in holdup and also the issues related to it. It needs the study of different measures to scale down the amount of vehicles movement daily, particularly single-occupant vehicles. Many researches conducted discovered that carpooling are often an economical resolution to alleviate the pressure thanks to traffic. The carpooling may be a system by that an individual offers his or her personal vehicle to at least one or additional commuters who have similar destinations or routes. Carpooling is effective solution to cut back the traffic. It consists of accelerating the occupancy of vehicles by occupying empty seats within the vehicle effectively. This system isn't enough as so much as tiny regions are thought-about and it's quantifiability issue. Our system will offer a secure interface for connecting drivers and commuters to share the ride whereby we have a tendency to are reaching to provide this service in small regions also in order that daily commuters like office-goers and students may also be expedited and might contribute in reducing traffic so saving environment
An Automated Chronic Disease Management for Cardiac Arrest Detection and Prevention on Emergency usingInternet of Medical Things (IoMT)
The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a world of interconnected things that can sense, stimulate, and collaborate with one another and with the environment. Heart attacks have become more common in recent years, putting people's lives at risk. However, it is extremely complex and difficult to maintain/monitor health conditions in physical mode all the time, especially at night and while traveling. If a senior person or patient suffers from health issues such as sudden cardiac arrest or a rise/fall in blood pressure levels in their body, it will be incredibly tough to receive immediate assistance from others as well as medical agencies. The suggested method uses a pulse sensor to automatically monitor heart rate and a MEMS pressure sensor incorporated into IoMT devices to measure blood pressure (BP). If an elderly individual has a cardiac arrest, an automatic call with the exact GPS location is sent to a nearby ambulance service and their caretakers. The benefit of this method is to prevent unexpected death or major illness due to heart disease and may also be conveniently monitored by sending text messages with their heartbeat rate as a daily report to caretakers

Evaluation of different protein extraction methods for banana (<i>Musa</i> spp.) root proteome analysis by two-dimensional electrophoresis
101-106Four protocols <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:
normal">viz., the trichloroacetic acid-acetone (TCA), phenol-ammonium
acetate (PAA), phenol/SDS-ammonium acetate (PSA) and trisbase-acetone (TBA)
were evaluated with modifications for protein extraction from banana (Grand
Naine) roots, considered as recalcitrant tissues for proteomic analysis. The two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) separated proteins were
compared based on protein yield, number of resolved proteins, sum of spot
quantity, average spot intensity and proteins resolved in 4-7 pI range. The PAA protocol yielded more
proteins (0.89 mg/g of tissues) and protein spots (584) in 2-DE gel than TCA
and other protocols. Also, the PAA protocol was superior in terms of sum of
total spot quantity and average spot intensity than TCA and other protocols,
suggesting phenol as extractant and ammonium acetate as precipitant of proteins
were the most suitable for banana rooteomics analysis by 2-DE. In addition, 1:3
ratios of root tissue to extraction buffer and overnight protein precipitation
were most efficient to obtain maximum protein yield.
