: Blusukan: In Search of the Style of Nizam al-Mulk's Leadership. In running the government, many a leaderopt to practice what popularly known as blusukan, i.e. going to and meeting the lower section of the society in person in order to understand the real problems of the grass root society. Popular in Indonesian context only in recent times, blusukan ­has in fact a deep root in Muslim Political history. The Great Nizam al-Mulk of Saljuk Dynasty practiced it as part of his leadership. This article discusses blusukan as practiced by Nizam al-Mulk and tries to see its relevance to contemporary Indonesian political leadership. Blusukan has some merits: it allows a leader to receive first-hand and right-from-the-spot knowledge; accurate information and knowledge help to formulate an accurate solution; and it facilitates a strong psychological tie between the leader and his subjects. Apparently these three aspects are of utmost important in the reality of contemporary Indonesian leadership

Pentingnya Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Pada Anak Usia Dini

Penulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya pendidikan bahasa inggris pada anak usia dini dan metode pembelajaran yang cocok digunakan untuk pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada usia dini. Penulisan makalah ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur (library research). Dari pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahasa Inggris harus diajarkan anak sejak usia dini karena dampak dari globalisasi dan bahasa Inggris juga menjadi bahasa Internasional. Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada anak usia dini dilakukan secara bertahap dan diajarkan hanya sebatas pengetahuan atau dasar-dasarnya saja tidak secara mendalam. Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris bisa dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, misalnya dengan nyanyian ataupun permainan agar anak tidak merasa bosan dan lebih semangat dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Peran orang tua juga penting dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahsa Inggris di rumah meskipun dalam waktu yang singkat agar bahasa Inggris anak semakin berkembang

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA Menggunakan Metode Eksperimen di Kelas III Sekolah Dasar

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning science by using the experimental method in class III State Elementary School No. 11 Balai Sepuak. This research uses descriptive method. Research subjects that teachers and students of class III State Elementary School No. 11 Balai Sepuak totaling 14 people. Data collection techniques is the technique of direct observation and data collection tool that is the observation sheet (IPKG IPKG I & II) and the assessment of student learning. Data were analyzed by calculating the average. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained by the average value of 65.71 and the second cycle of the average value of 90.71 with an increase KKM 25. Achievement of 60 in the first cycle of students who completed 8 or 57.14% and the second cycle as many as 14 people or 100% with an increase of 42.86. By using the experimental method can improve student learning outcomes Class III State Elementary School No. 11 Balai Sepuak

Mild Head Injury

Head injury is a mechanic trauma to the head that occurs either directly or indirectly, which can result in impaired neurological function, physical function, cognitive, psychosocial, which can be temporary or permanent . In Indonesia the incidence of head injuries are estimated at 500,000 cases each year. From this estimate, 10% of patients die before arriving at the hospital. The patients who reach the hospital, 80% classified as mild head injury, 10 % including mild head injury, and 10% including a severe head injury. Case. Mr. C, 19 years old, was taken to hospital with head pain after an accident 30 minutes ago. The patient had fainted 15-20 minutes upon arrival at the hospital, the patient was conscious and seemed to moderate pain. There are no known history of bleeding or fluid from the nose and ear physical findings: heart rate 84 x / minute, respiration 20x/menit, temperature 36.7 º C. Investigations X-ray and CT scan did not reveal any fracture of head calvarii and extrableeding and intraaxialbleeding. Patients diagnosed with mild head injury and managed in an integrated manner covering primary survey and secondary survey. Conclusion. Head injuries can cause death but also the patient may experience a complete healing. The type and severity of abnormalities depending on the location and severity of the brain damage that occurs

The Application of Fuzzy Logic Controller to Compute a Trust Level for Mobile Agents in a Smart Home

Agents that travel through many hosts may cause a threat on the security of the visited hosts. Assets, system resources, and the reputation of the host are few possible targets for such an attack. The possibility for multi-hop agents to be malicious is higher compared to the one-hop or two-hop boomerang agents. The travel history is one of the factors that may allow a server to evaluate the trustworthiness of an agent. This paper proposes a technique to define levels of trust for multi-hop agents that are roaming in a smart home environment. These levels of trust are used later to determine actions taken by a host at the arrival of an agent. This technique uses fuzzy logic as a method to calculate levels of trust and to define protective actions in regard to those levels
