Análisis del aprovechamiento del programa Absys en Andalucía hasta marzo de 1999

The degree of implementation of the Absys library programme in the centres included in the corporate license held by the Andalusian regional government is analysed focussing on 4 aspects: library/centre resources, use of the 8 basic functions of Absys, reference manuals and technical support. Of the 109 questionnaires sent to the 8 Andalusian provinces, 104 were returned fully answered: 6 from Almeria, 5 from Cadiz, 16 from Cordoba, 18 from Granada, 19 from Huelva, 4 from Jaen, 15 from Malaga and 21 from Seville. The province where there are the highest number of installations of the programme is Seville, followed by Huelva, Granada, Málaga and Cordoba

Plataformas de trabajo utilizadas en la red de bibliotecas públicas de Andalucía: OPAC 2.0, E-BIBLIO y SIE

AB: Three work platforms used in the Network of Public Libraries of Andalusia (RBPA) that were exposed last May for the Provincial Library Meetings held in Granada are analyzed. The five sections that make up each monthly form in the new system, clearly explaining how the data are obtained properly analyzed.Se analizan las tres plataformas de trabajo utilizadas en la Red de Bibliotecas Públicas de Andalucía (RBPA) que se expusieron el pasado mes de mayo con motivo de los Encuentros Bibliotecarios Provinciales celebrados en Granada. Se comenzó por la plataforma OPAC 2.0, sobre la que se dio una visión amplia de las posibilidades que ofrece actualmente, siguiendo cada uno de los epígrafes que contiene el módulo absysNET OPAC desde la interfaz profesional, indicando las novedades de esta nueva versión donde la información se presenta de manera más atractiva y se establece mayor dinamismo entre el lector y la biblioteca. A continuación, se analizó la segunda plataforma, que guarda una estrecha relación con la anterior en lo relativo a la identificación del lector, e-Biblio (Plataforma para préstamo de libros electrónicos). Se hizo un repaso de las pautas que cualquier profesional de la biblioteca debe conocer para ofrecer este nuevo servicio a los usuarios y se comentó la casuística de errores que se pueden dar cuando un usuario intenta acceder a la plataforma. Por último, SIE (Sistema de Información Estadística), la nueva plataforma ideada para la tramitación de estadísticas. Se analizaron los cinco apartados de que consta cada formulario mensual en el nuevo sistema, explicando claramente como se obtienen los datos de forma adecuada

An analysis, broken down by province and type of unit, of the calls received by Andalusian Cultural Department’s technical support unit for Absys was carried out from 1999 to 2001, noting their typology and duration. The use made of the technical support and maintenance unit by the institutions using Absys collective licensing was assessed
