CP violation at one loop in the polarization-independent chargino production in e+e- collisions
Recently Osland and Vereshagin noticed, based on sample calculations of some
box diagrams, that in unpolarised e+e- collisions CP-odd effects in the
non-diagonal chargino-pair production process are generated at one-loop. Here
we perform a full one-loop analysis of these effects and point out that in some
cases the neglected vertex and self-energy contributions may play a dominant
role. We also show that CP asymmetries in chargino production are sensitive not
only to the phase of mu parameter in the chargino sector but also to the phase
of stop trilinear coupling A_t.Comment: 14 pages, 5 figure
Heavy MSSM Higgs Bosons at CMS: "LHC wedge" and Higgs-Mass Precision
The search for MSSM Higgs bosons will be an important goal at the LHC. In
order to analyze the search reach of the CMS experiment for the heavy neutral
MSSM Higgs bosons, we combine the latest results for the CMS experimental
sensitivities based on full simulation studies with state-of-the-art
theoretical predictions of MSSM Higgs-boson properties. The experimental
analyses are done assuming an integrated luminosity of 30 or 60 fb^-1. The
results are interpreted as 5 \si discovery contours in MSSM M_A-tan_beta
benchmark scenarios. Special emphasis is put on the variation of the Higgs
mixing parameter mu. While the variation of mu can shift the prospective
discovery reach (and correspondingly the ``LHC wedge'' region) by about Delta
tan_beta= 10, the discovery reach is rather stable with respect to the impact
of other supersymmetric parameters. Within the discovery region we analyze the
accuracy with which the masses of the heavy neutral Higgs bosons can be
determined. An accuracy of 1-4% should be achievable, depending on M_A and

New proton polarized structure functions in charged current processes at HERA
Estimates for longitudinal spin asymmetries which single out new polarized
nucleon structure functions in deeply inelastic charged current interactions at
HERA energies are given, exploiting their interpretation in terms of polarized
quark distributions. These asymmetries turn out to be large and allow a
measurement of the new polarized structure functions and ,
which would add valuable tests and information on the spin content of quarks
inside a polarized proton. We also show that single spin asymmetries in neutral

High P_T Leptons and W Production at HERA
Details are given of the observation by H1 of events containing high P_T
leptons in addition to large missing P_T. A closely related ZEUS analysis,
including a preliminary measurement of the W production cross section, is
discussed and the two experiments are compared. Some possible non-Standard

Association Between High Perceived Stress Over Time and Incident Hypertension in Black Adults: Findings From the Jackson Heart Study.
Background Chronic psychological stress has been associated with hypertension, but few studies have examined this relationship in blacks. We examined the association between perceived stress levels assessed annually for up to 13 years and incident hypertension in the Jackson Heart Study, a community-based cohort of blacks. Methods and Results Analyses included 1829 participants without hypertension at baseline (Exam 1, 2000-2004). Incident hypertension was defined as blood pressure≥140/90 mm Hg or antihypertensive medication use at Exam 2 (2005-2008) or Exam 3 (2009-2012). Each follow-up interval at risk of hypertension was categorized as low, moderate, or high perceived stress based on the number of annual assessments between exams in which participants reported "a lot" or "extreme" stress over the previous year (low, 0 high stress ratings; moderate, 1 high stress rating; high, ≥2 high stress ratings). During follow-up (median, 7.0 years), hypertension incidence was 48.5%. Hypertension developed in 30.6% of intervals with low perceived stress, 34.6% of intervals with moderate perceived stress, and 38.2% of intervals with high perceived stress. Age-, sex-, and time-adjusted risk ratios (95% CI) associated with moderate and high perceived stress versus low perceived stress were 1.19 (1.04-1.37) and 1.37 (1.20-1.57), respectively (P trend<0.001). The association was present after adjustment for demographic, clinical, and behavioral factors and baseline stress (P trend=0.001). Conclusions In a community-based cohort of blacks, higher perceived stress over time was associated with an increased risk of developing hypertension. Evaluating stress levels over time and intervening when high perceived stress is persistent may reduce hypertension risk
On Evidence-based Risk Management in Requirements Engineering
Background: The sensitivity of Requirements Engineering (RE) to the context
makes it difficult to efficiently control problems therein, thus, hampering an
effective risk management devoted to allow for early corrective or even
preventive measures. Problem: There is still little empirical knowledge about
context-specific RE phenomena which would be necessary for an effective
context- sensitive risk management in RE. Goal: We propose and validate an
evidence-based approach to assess risks in RE using cross-company data about
problems, causes and effects. Research Method: We use survey data from 228
companies and build a probabilistic network that supports the forecast of
context-specific RE phenomena. We implement this approach using spreadsheets to
support a light-weight risk assessment. Results: Our results from an initial
validation in 6 companies strengthen our confidence that the approach increases
the awareness for individual risk factors in RE, and the feedback further

two-dimensional light-cone theories. By introducing the two distinct null
planes it is shown that the modification term in the two-dimensional massless

On MSSM charged Higgs boson production in association with an electroweak W boson at electron positron colliders
We present a calculation of the cross section for the process e+ e- --> W+/-
H-/+ in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) and the Two Higgs
Doublet Model (THDM). We study the basic features of the MSSM prediction for
some distinctive parameter scenarios. We find large effects from virtual
squarks for scenarios with large mixing in the stop sector which can lead to a
cross section vastly different from a THDM with identical Higgs sector
parameters. We investigate this interesting behaviour in more detail by
thoroughly scanning the MSSM parameter space for regions of large cross
section. For a charged Higgs boson too heavy to be pair-produced at such a
machine, it turns out that a large MSSM cross section with a good chance of
observation is linked to a squark mass scale below 600 GeV and a considerable
amount of mixing in either the stop and sbottom sector.Comment: 25 pages, 10 figures (two in colour). Substantially improved on the

Toward High Precision Higgs-Boson Measurements at the International Linear e+e- Collider
This report reviews the properties of Higgs bosons in the Standard Model (SM)
and its various extensions. We give an extensive overview about the potential
of the ILC operated at centre-of-mass energies up to 1 TeV (including the gamma
gamma option) for the determination of the Higgs boson properties. This
comprises the measurement of the Higgs boson mass, its couplings to SM fermions
and gauge bosons, and the determination of the spin and the CP quantum numbers
of the Higgs. The extensions of the SM that are analyzed in more detail are
heavy SM-like Higgs bosons, heavy Higgs bosons in the framework of
Supersymmetry (SUSY) and further exotic scenarios. We review recent theoretical
developments in the field of Higgs boson physics. The important question what
the ILC can contribute to Higgs boson physics after the LHC, the LHC/ILC
interplay and synergy is discussed. The impact of Higgs boson physics on
cosmology in several SUSY frameworks is analyzed. The impact of the accelerator
and dector performance on the precision of measurements are discussed in
detail. We propose a strategy to optimize future analyses. Open questions
arising for the various topics are listed, further topics of study and
