    Islamic Finance: Developing Religion-based Business

    Islamic finance is one of the religion-based business as an instrument for Muslim to gain wealth, developing properties and maintaining treasures. All those business activities are part of the Muslim obedience to God. Islamic finance is regulated by Islamic law by five law indicators, compulsion, prohibition, voluntary, hated and permitted. All those regulations are elaborated in the Islamic jurisprudence for being the standards of all kinds of businesses. So, the final conclusion of every transaction will be indicated as lawful or unlawful. There are three principles in Islamic finance, equity, participation and ownership. Islamic finance is regulated by a principle of equity, meaning that every party in business is a partner, so, it is banned to render difficulties by one to another through uncertain contract. Then, Islamic finance is also developed under the principle of participation, meaning each party of the contract in business should develop partnership by stickling a business principle of Profit and Loss Sharing (PLS). The last one is ownership, meaning that the object of the contract should be available at the time of contract, so the seller can transfer the goods, while a buyer transfers the price. Those principles are developed in Islamic finance to maintain the wealth of Muslim community

    This article was written to provide an overview of the conceptual view of multicultural education inIndonesia. In order to obtain data on the concept of multicultural authors conducted a study of literatures. As we know that Indonesia is a country with ethnic diversity but it aspires to the same goal, that is to the wealthy and prosperous society. Therefore, it becomes important to develop multicultural education, which is an educational process that gives equal opportunities to all children including minorities regardless of their differences in ethnicity, culture and religion, to strengthen the unity and integrity, national identity and the nation’s standing in  the international world. In this case, the school must design the learning process, preparing curriculum and evaluation design, as well as prepare teachers who have the multicultural perception, attitude and behavior, so that they becomes part of those make a signifi cant contribution to the development of multicultural attitude of the students

    INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH OF ISLAMIC PSYCHOLOGY LITERACY IN INDONESIA

    The development of journal literacy with the theme of Islamic Psychology used a lot of typologies in the madhab of psychology, including Islamic Psychoanalysis, Islamic Psycho-behavioristic, Islamic Psychohumanistic, Islamic Psychocognitive, and Islamic Psychotranspersonal. This study aims to analyze the types of madhab integration in constructing journal literacy in the areas of Islamic psychology in Indonesia. Thus, the tendency could be known and be a guideline in the development of Islamic psychology later on. As library research that used content analysis techniques, this study found that although the journal writers had diverse typologies in the development of the Islamic Psychology madhab, the study showed that the Transpersonal madhab dominated the pattern of developing Islamic psychology in the journaling system in Indonesia.This tendency is due to the process of Islamic integration, the easiest psychology, and the lowest resistance level is integrating Psychotranspersonal with Islamic sciences. Psychotranspersonal themes are more easily developed through literary research and/or qualitative research, while other madhabs claim more to quantitative research

    Child Educational Content on Digital Folklore "Pak Lebai Malang": A Qualitative Content Analysis

    Purpose – The purpose of this study was to explore child educational content digital folklore on YouTube, and It is used to teach young children about science, language, and values. The unit analysis on this research was the video of Pak Lebai Malang from West Sumatera, Indonesia.Design/methods/approach – The qualitative content analysis method was used in this study. The content analyzed was digital folklore based on the Minangkabau story Pak Lebai Malang. The process began with downloading the video, creating a transcript, taking notes on the text, language, and context, re-watching the video, comparing and contrasting it to the memo, and eliciting evidence from the video.Findings – The data revealed the following ways in which digital folklore on YouTube teaches science, language, and values: 1) digital technology illustrates science concepts with simple-to-understand videos; 2) by repeating the words and visualizing each spoken word, YouTube videos teach children new vocabulary. 3) the characters’ expressions and intonation in the video teach children about social values.Research implications/limitations – This research could serve as a springboard for future research on the use of digital folklores in early childhood classrooms. It is advised that additional research be conducted to improve the interest, effectiveness, and applicability of digital folklore in the early childhood learning process and design more effective programs for teaching science, language, and value to young people children. The study’s drawback is that it analyzes only one video. If it is compared to other videos, it may provide a complete view. Practical implications – This study informs educators on the potential for using digital folklore to teach science, language, and values. It entails the implementation of more creative strategies in early childhood education. Additionally, the study inspires innovative content creators on YouTube to make their videos more relevant to young children’s learning. Additionally, parents may discover that something as simple as a YouTube video could be an incredible resource for their child’s development.Originality/value – The study explains child educational content based on local wisdom. The digital form of Pak Lebai Malang folklore can facilitate accessibility and acceptability. Paper type Research pape
