This monograph features the results of the course completion research. Brings a series of drawings created with a mixed technique of the mixture of print and sfumato. The creations of the drawings and completion and the exposition, are reported in steps as well as the technical and conceptual question about the creation process. Budget-Aware Adapters for Multi-Domain Learning

Multi-Domain Learning (MDL) refers to the problem of learning a set of models derived from a common deep architecture, each one specialized to perform a task in a certain domain (e.g., photos, sketches, paintings). This paper tackles MDL with a particular interest in obtaining domain-specific models with an adjustable budget in terms of the number of network parameters and computational complexity. Our intuition is that, as in real applications the number of domains and tasks can be very large, an effective MDL approach should not only focus on accuracy but also on having as few parameters as possible. To implement this idea we derive specialized deep models for each domain by adapting a pre-trained architecture but, differently from other methods, we propose a novel strategy to automatically adjust the computational complexity of the network. To this aim, we introduce Budget-Aware Adapters that select the most relevant feature channels to better handle data from a novel domain. Some constraints on the number of active switches are imposed in order to obtain a network respecting the desired complexity budget. Experimentally, we show that our approach leads to recognition accuracy competitive with state-of-the-art approaches but with much lighter networks both in terms of storage and computation.Comment: ICCV 201

Animação de festa : uma reflexão sobre a importância do teatro em eventos sociais e corporativos

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Instituto de Artes, Departamento de Artes Cênicas, 2018.Este trabalho propõe um diálogo entre o Teatro realizado em eventos sociais e corporativos, popularmente chamado de "animação de festa", e as Artes Cênicas e seus desdobramentos acadêmicos a partir das minhas experiências e desafios enfrentados nas duas esferas de atuação. Utilizo exemplos vividos, as expectativas e frustrações de um aluno do curso de Artes Cênicas da UnB. Apresento um panorama geral e pessoal do Teatro em Brasília e as dificuldades dos artistas para a execução dos seus trabalhos, com uma discussão sobre a atuação em eventos espetaculares sociais e corporativos. Conclusivamente, trago ao público os desafios do artista-empreendedor que atua em funções múltiplas, como ator, produtor e vendedor de uma empresa de performances artísticas em eventos em Brasília, a Caixa Cênica, atuação que exige domínio de conhecimentos distintos das Artes Cênicas, como Administração e Marketing.This work presents a dialogue between the Theater played in social and corporate events, popularly called "party entertainment", and the Performing Arts and its academic developments based on my experiences and challenges faced in both performance spheres. I use exemples based on my practice, my expectations and frustrations as a Performing Arts Student at the Universidade de Brasília, UnB. I introduce a general and personal overview of the Theater in Brasília and the artists' difficulties in the execution of their works, with a discussion about their performance in spectacular, social and corporate events. Conclusively, I bring to the audience the challenges of the artist-entrepreneur who works in multiple roles, as an actor, producer and salesman of an artistic performance company at events in Brasília, known as Caixa Cênica, an action that requires mastery of knowledge distinct from the Performing Arts, such as Administration and Marketing
