GAMBARAN FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERILAKU IBU MENYUSUI DALAM PEMBERIAN MAKANAN PENDAMPING ASI DI SURADADI TAHUN 2013

Get PDF

Observation on heavy metals in Jakarta Bay, from June and September 2003. Heavy metals Pb in sediment at the West have been conductet of Jakarta Bay Waters varied between Pb = 8,49-31,22 ppm, Cd = <0,001-0,47 ppm, Cu = 13,81-193,75 ppm, Zn = 82,18-533,59 ppm and Ni = 0,99-35,38 ppm, while those at the Center of Jakarta Bay, varied between Pb = 2,21-69,22 ppm, Cd = <0,001-0,28 ppm, Cu = 3,36-50,65 ppm, Zn = 71,13-230,54 ppm and Ni = 0,42-15,58 ppm and at the East of Jakarta Bay, Pb content varied between 0,25-77,42 ppm, Cd = <0,001-0,42 ppm, Cu = 0,79-44,94 ppm, Zn = 93,21-289,00 ppm and Ni = 0,42-128,47 ppm. Hevy metals content in sediment the West of Jakarta Bay was high of equivalent the Center and East of Jakarta Bay. At than those composition sediment at the west was black, that indicated high heavy metals content

A survey on heavy metal content in seawater and sediment was conducted in Jakarta Bay in May and October 2004. There is indication of significant presence of heavy metal in sediment. The contents of heavy metals in sediment at the western part of Jakarta Bay varied as follows: Pb = 10.67-35.19 ppm, Cd = 0.04-0.30 ppm, Cu = 7.41-74.70 ppm, Zn = 76.99-497.53 ppm and Ni = 4.58-18.75 ppm. At the central part of Jakarta Bay, they varied as Pb = 6.69-64.44 ppm, Cd = 0.01-0.442 ppm, Cu = 1.19-40.60 ppm, Zn = 53.87-275.68 ppm and Ni = 4.09-11.88 ppm and at the eastern of Jakarta Bay, Pb content varied between 3.64 and 43.97 ppm, Cd = <0.001-0.320 ppm, Cu = 0.82-36.47 ppm, Zn = 78.27-230.68 ppm and Ni = 4.58-11.02 ppm. The concentration of Pb in May and of Cu in Octobei 2004 were found higher near the coast and decreases towards the open sea, which is commonly found in front of estuary such Angke and Cengkareng Drain. The concentration of Cd in Jakarta Bay was constant at all stations and does not show any correlation with the distance of station and estuary. Heavy metals content in sediment was high in Jakarta Bay

Heavy Metallic Element Distribution in Cisadane River Estuary’s Water and Sediment. Observation of heavy metallic elements in Cisadane River Estuary has been done in July and November 2005. The results show that heavy metallic elements content in seawater is lower and still below the treshold value stated by government for fisheries. There was an indication of heavy metallic elements on sediment. Distribution of Pb on July and of Cu on November 2005 were found higher near the coast and decrease towards the sea, and commonly were found in front of estuary such as Cisadane, Muara Saban and Tanjung Pasir. High Pb and Zn distributions on November 2005 were found only in front of Cisadane estuary. Cd distribution of Cisadane estuary was constant at all station but did not show any correlation with the distance of station and estuary. The Cd content on July and November 2005 is lower than 0,001 ppm. Generally, heavy metallic elements content have a uniform distribution at all stations inspite of its distance to estuary. Keywords: heavy metallic element, pollution, sediment, seawater, Cisadane estuary &nbsp

Sediment of 16 sites in the Kelabat Bay were monitored for metal contamination and toxicity in 2006. Two patterns of metal contaminants distribution in the sediment were observed. Higher concentrations of lead and copper were found in March than those in July, and so was in the inner bay than those observed in the outer bay, while different pattern was observed for cadmium concentration. The highest lead concentrations were observed at site 7 (inner bay) both in March and July. Although elevated levels of cadmium, lead and copper were observed in sediments, they were still in the tolerable level for marine life. Sediment of the bay was also evaluated for its toxicity using marine phytoplankton, Chaetoceros gracilis and sea urchin, Tripneustes gratila. Results of the tests reveal that no toxic effects of sediment to the growth of phytoplankton were observed, but to sea urchin fertilization of the sediment may have toxic effect
