Thermoanalytical characterization of carbon/carbon hybrid material, Apple Woodceramics

Abstract Woodceramics, a carbon/carbon composite of plant-originated carbon reinforced by glassy carbon from phenolic resin, was prepared from apple pomace at carbonizing temperatures of 1073 K (AWC800) and 1473 K (AWC1200), and characterized by thermoanalytical methods and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Simultaneous differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric (TG) showed complicated overlapping reactions similar to those of coal. The initial temperature of pyrolysis was obtained by fitting logistic functions to observed TG data. The results suggested that AWC1200 contained more volatile matter than AWC800. In an inert atmosphere, complicated devolatilization takes place. In an oxidizing atmosphere, thermal change occurs roughly in four steps: desorption of physically adsorbed matter; pyrolysis into aliphatic and aromatic fragments; ignition; combustion of char. 湘北短大型入学前教育科目を確立するにあたり、本学の教育内容やカリキュラム検討の参考とするため、米国東海岸の高等教育機関等で教育事例の視察研修を行った。キャリア教育の観点からも重要な高校-短大-大学の接続性に重点をおいた。本稿では、コミュニティカレッジの特徴、ブレンデッドラーニングの効果、高校との連携、リベラルアーツ科目の位置づけなどに関して得られた知見を報告する。Remedia1 Education had played an important role in US college education until 2004. テキスト マイニング ノ アンケート カイセキ エ ノ オウヨウ ノ ココロミ

テキストデータを対象とするテキストマイニング手法を、本学のオープンキャンパス来場者(高校生)に対するアンケート調査の回答部分のうち、感想・コメントなど、フリーコメント部分の分析に適用することを試みた。参加生徒は、いずれの学科においても「楽しく」「良い雰囲気」、と答え、ポジティブ評価であるが、学科により多少印象が異なることがわかった。また、6 月時点の感想「また来たい」、が7 月では見られなくなったことが興味深い。Text data mining was applied to free comments obtained as text data from open campus participants. Almost all high school students answered they had good impressions, but the most impressed points differed from a department to another. タンキ ダイガク ニ オケル キャリア キョウイク ノ シラバス チョウサ

高等教育における「キャリア教育」の在り方が模索されている。本学は「入学前段階や初年次教育における、後期中等教育からの円滑な接続や学びへの意欲の向上のための教育上の配慮」を行っているキャリア教育の先進事例として取り上げられているが、入学後の後継科目の確立は途上である。職業教育は学科で育成する人材像に従って構築されるのであろうが、では、キャリア教育はどのようになされるべきなのであろうか。この問いに答えるための一助として、他学の事例を調査することとした。また、事例調査だけでなく、テキストマイニングの手法を用いて分類を試みた。その結果、「望ましい職業観・勤労観、職業に関する知識・技能、進路選択に必要な能力や心構えなどを養い育成するための、狭義の『キャリア教育』に該当する科目群」と「就職試験として要求される学力・知識・技能を養成する科目群」、そしてその混合型、が存在することがわかった。Career-oriented and vocational education is becoming an important part of school education in Japan. In 2008, the Central Council for Education was consulted on the future role of career-oriented and vocational education in schools, and is currently examining the issue. Shohoku College has long established its own style of education such as PBL, internship, and pre-entrance education programs, which are all closely related to careerorientededucation. To further enhance such education curricula, syllabi presented in the Web sites of other colleges were examined and classified for better understanding of the present career education in Japan

湘北短期大学のWeb サイトで2007 年7 月の1 か月間に得られたアクセスログを解析し,訪問者のサイト内ページ遷移をネットワーク図で可視化した。これにより,訪問者が学科によって異なる閲覧動向を示すことが明らかになった。Access log obtained on the Web site of Shohoku College was analysed, and the page transition of the site visitors was visualized in the form of a network diagram. Differences among the interesting areas for four departments were clearly observed

オープン キャンパス アンケート データ ノ テキスト マイニング

テキストデータを対象とするテキストマイニング手法を用いて、本学のオープンキャンパス来場者(高校生)に対するアンケート調査の回答部分のうちの感想・コメントなど、自由記述部分の分析を行った。昨年同様に、6月と7月の来場者データを対象とし、分析結果の年次変化を検討した。6 月と7 月では来場者の進学意思の決定度合いが異なることと、学科ごとに印象が違うことは昨年と同じ傾向が認められた。また、効果的なイベントなどを抽出するのに本手法が有効であることが示唆された。Text data mining was applied to text data obtained as comments from the response to the questionnaires given to open campus participants. The analyzed results were compared with those obtained last year. Surprisingly, the results showed tendencies similar to those of the last year; the ratio of the potential applicants change from June to July, and the every department left its own impression on the high school students

Environmental Consciouness in Japan on Materials and Products -Analysis of Eco-MCPS, a Web-database for Ecomaterials

Eco-MCPS database is a web-based database system that contains data of environment-conscious materials,components, products, and services. The text data compiled in the Eco-MCPS and the access log data of Eco-MCPS were subjected to data mining. Word-frequency analysis and dependency parsing analysis were applied tothe data to obtain the frequently used terms and their situations of use. By analyzing the access log, the interestof the visitors accessed to the web-site can be understood. The results showed that eco-products\u27 environmental performances are realized by the use of environment-friendly components or materials. The page views, which represent the visitors\u27 interest, were related with the frequently used term in the comments of Eco-MCPS to showthe social consciousness on environment-friendly products. By further analyzing the access log, it was found thatthe word search rank followed the Zipf\u27s Law

コウダイ レンケイ ニ ヨル セツゾクキョウイク プログラム カイハツ ノ ココロミ

高大連携により効率的な接続教育プログラムを開発するため,高校向けアンケートを実施した。職業に就いた際に必要とされるキャリア基礎能力として本学で過去実施したアンケート結果を基にした10 要素,ならびに経済産業省の「社会人基礎力」12 要素の必要性と達成度を設問とした。その結果,社会人にもっとも必要とされるキャリア基礎能力は「コミュニケーション能力」であること,また,高校教科「情報」によりPC 基礎操作能力は十分獲得されていること,がわかった。この結果を踏まえ,高大連携プログラムの一環として高校-大学教員によるコミュニケーション教育研究会を開催し,全12 講からなる接続教育プログラム「コミュニケーションリテラシー」を開講した。Enquiries were made to upper secondary school teachers on basic vocational abilities necessary for thegraduates. Since "information literacy" was introduced recently as compulsory subject in secondary schools, itsrelation with elements necessary for an ordinary person who wishes to work in a company was investigated. Basedon the results, a project was set up with members from secondary school teachers and Shohoku College teachersand library staff. As a result, a novel coordination program, namely, "communication literacy", consisting of 12lessons, was held for secondary school third grade students

コウダイレンケイ ニ ヨル キョウイク コウリュウ ネットワーク ノ コウチク : コミュニケーション キョウイク ケンキュウカイ ノ カツドウ ト コミュニケーションリテラシー

高大連携校より本学への入学が決定した生徒を対象とした単位認定科目「コミュニケーションリテラシー」を開講した。同科目の内容やスケジュールは、平成19 年度よりほぼ月に一度のペースで高大連携協定校教員と本学教職員で構成する「コミュニケーション教育研究会」で調査研究・見学・参観・討議などを重ねて決定されたものである。この研究会の中ではまた、ブレインストーミングにより、経済産業省の「社会人基礎能力」を基本とした「職業を持った社会人に必要とされる能力要素」の洗い出しを行ない、これら要素の必要性や獲得度のアンケート調査を実施した。対象は高大連携校と全国の高校である。その結果、職業をもった社会人にもっとも必要とされる基本的な基礎能力は、「コミュニケーション能力」と「一般常識」であること、さらには「課題発見能力や企画・提案能力」や「表現力やプレゼンテーション能力」が不十分であるととらえられていることがわかった。こうした問題意識を踏まえて「コミュニケーションリテラシー」の実施内容を組み立てた。本年度の「コミュニケーションリテラシー」受講生は110 名となった。この効果を検証することは容易ではないが、受講生に対しアンケート調査などを行った結果に関しても報告する。Novel coordination program, namely, "Communication Literacy", consisting of 15 lesson classes, was developed and held for secondary school third grade students. This class was developed and implemented in a project set up with members from secondary school teachers and Shohoku College teachers and staff. Survey on basic vocational abilities necessary for the graduates was made by sending questionnaires to secondary school teachers. Questionnaires were made to students participated in the program to clarify the effect of the program
