H2-ARQ-relaying: spectrum and energy efficiency perspectives
In this paper, we propose novel Hybrid Automatic Repeat re-Quest (HARQ) strategies used in conjunction with hybrid relaying schemes, named as H2-ARQ-Relaying. The strategies allow the relay to dynamically switch between amplify-and-forward/compress-and-forward and decode-and-forward schemes according to its decoding status. The performance analysis is conducted from both the spectrum and energy efficiency perspectives. The spectrum efficiency of the proposed strategies, in terms of the maximum throughput, is significantly improved compared with their non-hybrid counterparts under the same constraints. The consumed energy per bit is optimized by manipulating the node activation time, the transmission energy and the power allocation between the source and the relay. The circuitry energy consumption of all involved nodes is taken into consideration. Numerical results shed light on how and when the energy efficiency can be improved in cooperative HARQ. For instance, cooperative HARQ is shown to be energy efficient in long distance transmission only. Furthermore, we consider the fact that the compress-and-forward scheme requires instantaneous signal to noise ratios of all three constituent links. However, this requirement can be impractical in some cases. In this regard, we introduce an improved strategy where only partial and affordable channel state information feedback is needed
Average Energy Efficiency Contours for Single Carrier AWGN MAC
Energy efficiency has become increasingly
important in wireless communications, with significant
environmental and financial benefits. This paper studies the
achievable capacity region of a single carrier uplink channel
consisting of two transmitters and a single receiver, and uses
average energy efficiency contours to find the optimal rate
pair based on four different targets: Maximum energy
efficiency, a trade-off between maximum energy efficiency and
rate fairness, achieving energy efficiency target with maximum
sum-rate and achieving energy efficiency target with fairness.
In addition to the transmit power, circuit power is also
accounted for, with the maximum transmit power constrained
to a fixed value. Simulation results demonstrate the
achievability of the optimal energy-efficient rate pair within
the capacity region, and provide the trade-off for energy
efficiency, fairness and maximum sum-rate
PKM PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI ZERO WATER DISCHARGE PADA BUDIDAYA UDANG VANAME (LITOPENAEUS VANNAMEI ) KELURAHAN WOLULU KECAMATAN WATUBANGGAKABUPATEN KOLAKA
Teknologi Zero Water Discharge merupakan salah satu teknologi yang dapat diterapkan pada budidaya udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) menggunakan kolam terpal skala kecil. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang budidaya udang vaname teknologi zero water dischargepada kelompok tani Ombo Mandiri Kelurahan Wolulu Kecamatan Watubangga Kabupaten Kolaka. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2020 dalam bentuk penyuluhan, pelatihan, demonstrasi percontohan, monitoring dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam penerapan teknologi ZWD pada budidaya udang vaname dengan rata-rata 77,75 %. Adapun hasil produksi dari proses budidaya udang vaname belum memenuhi target, sehingga masih perlu adanya tindak lanjut untuk perbaikan agar sistem ZWD dapat bekerja dengan baik untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan kelansungan hidup udang vanam

The objective of this study was to evaluate three synchronization fix timed-AI protocols throughout the year on one commercial dairy farm in a semi-arid zone. Mean temperature-humidity indices (THI) were 77.5, 84.9, 70.8 and 58.8 in spring, summer, autumn and winter, respectively. Insemination was synchronized in 3 groups of healthy Holstein Friesian dairy cows (Body Condition Score 2.25-3; scale 1-5) using controlled intravaginal drug release (CIDR) +E2 (n = 99), CIDR+GnRH (n = 38), or Select-Ovsynch (n = 181). Pregnancy

Pregnancy rate did not differ between the three methods, but was lower (P0.05), but rates were lower in spring than in winter (P0,05), ali je u proljeće postotak bio niži nego zimi (P<0,05). U navedenoj polusušnoj zoni visoki THI ima negativan učinak na plodnost muznih krava te se nijedan od triju primijenjenih protokola nije pokazao dobrim za plodnost u ljetnom razdoblju. Prema tome, trebalo bi uvesti sezonsko planiranje teljenja u kojem bi životinje bile osjemenjivane u hladnije doba godine
Pengaruh Partisipasi Anggaran terhadap Senjangan Anggaran dengan Asimetri Informasi, Ketidakpastian Lingkungan, dan Penekanan Anggaran sebagai Variabel Moderasi
Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine the influence of budgetary participation on budgetary slack. The moderating effects of information asymmetry, environmental uncertainty and budget emphasis are also being identified on the relationship between budgetary participation and budgetary slack. The population in this study is 27 SKPD (regional working unit) in the government of South Sulawesi Province, with the number of respondents are as many as 105. Research data is collected using census sampling method and analyzed with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results shows that the budgetary participation has a positive and significant impact on budgetary slack. Meanwhile, the information asymmetry and environmental uncertainty are unable to moderate the relationship between budgetary participation on budgetary slack. In the other hand, budget emphasis is proved to moderate the relationship between the budgetary participation on the budgetary slack.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeriksa dampak dari partisipasi anggaran pada senjangan anggaran. Efek moderasi dari asimetri informasi, ketidakpastian lingkungan dan penekanan anggaran juga diidentifikasi pada hubungan antara partisipasi anggaran dan senjangan anggaran. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 27 SKPD di wilayah pemerintahan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan total responden berjumlah 105. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan metode sampling sensus dan dianalisis dengan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi anggaran memiliki dampak positif pada senjangan anggaran. Sementara itu, asimetri informasi dan ketidakpastian lingkungan tidak dapat memoderasi hubungan antara partisipasi anggaran pada senjangan anggaran. Primary Mediastinal Synovial Sarcoma: A Rare Case Report
Background: Synovial sarcomas commonly occur in the extremities of young adults. A primary occurrence in the mediastinum is very rare with only a few reported cases in the world literature.Case Report: This paper is about a 47-year-old male who presented with retrosternal chest pain and shortness of breath on exertion. Imaging showed an anterior mediastinal mass. Pathological examination of the resected mass showed a biphasic neoplasm with a spindle cell component admixed with gland-like elements. The tumor showed positive staining with cytokeratin, epithelial membrane antigen, and vimentin confirming the diagnosis of a biphasic synovial sarcoma.Conclusions: A wide range of neoplasms, both primary and metastatic, occurs in the mediastinum, which poses considerable diagnostic difficulties. A synovial sarcoma should always be considered in the differential diagnosis, and immunohistochemistry is an important adjuvant tool in this situation. This paper highlights the importance of recognizing an unusual presentation of this aggressive neoplasm to aid appropriate clinical management
