There are 5 farmers who are involved in zero level of cabbage trading system, 13 farmers who are involved in one level, and 12 farmers who are involved in two level. The biggest profits are obtained by farmers in cabbage trading system zero level, that is Rp 691,64 /kg. The most efficient cabbage is trading system two level, with a marketing margin of Rp 2.175 /kg, farmer's share of 20,90 %, and a profit ratio Rp 2,21 /kg

O Fundo Estadual de Equilíbrio Fiscal do Rio de Faneiro (‘’FEEF’’) e a violação ao sistema tributário nacional

    Get PDF

Neuronal assembly dynamics in supervised and unsupervised learning scenarios

    Get PDF
The dynamic formation of groups of neurons—neuronal assemblies—is believed to mediate cognitive phenomena at many levels, but their detailed operation and mechanisms of interaction are still to be uncovered. One hypothesis suggests that synchronized oscillations underpin their formation and functioning, with a focus on the temporal structure of neuronal signals. In this context, we investigate neuronal assembly dynamics in two complementary scenarios: the first, a supervised spike pattern classification task, in which noisy variations of a collection of spikes have to be correctly labeled; the second, an unsupervised, minimally cognitive evolutionary robotics tasks, in which an evolved agent has to cope with multiple, possibly conflicting, objectives. In both cases, the more traditional dynamical analysis of the system’s variables is paired with information-theoretic techniques in order to get a broader picture of the ongoing interactions with and within the network. The neural network model is inspired by the Kuramoto model of coupled phase oscillators and allows one to fine-tune the network synchronization dynamics and assembly configuration. The experiments explore the computational power, redundancy, and generalization capability of neuronal circuits, demonstrating that performance depends nonlinearly on the number of assemblies and neurons in the network and showing that the framework can be exploited to generate minimally cognitive behaviors, with dynamic assembly formation accounting for varying degrees of stimuli modulation of the sensorimotor interactions

Effects of the growth kinetics on solute diffusion in porous films

For the development of porous materials with improved transport properties, a key missing ingredient is to determine the relations between growth kinetics, structure, and transport parameters. Here, we address these relations by studying solute diffusion through three-dimensional porous films produced by simple deposition models with controlled thickness and porosity. We simulate growing films with competitive aggregation rules that incorporate lateral aggregation (relative rate proportional to pp), which leads to pore formation, and surface relaxation (1p1-p) that favors compaction. By connecting a solute source at the basis and a drain at the top outer surface of the films, we extract the effective diffusion coefficients from steady-state simulations. We find that for a given film thickness, the larger the pp, the larger the effective porosity and diffusivity, but the smaller the tortuosity. Keeping constant growth conditions (i.e., same pp), the increase of thickness always leads to an increase of effective porosity, but a nontrivial behavior in the diffusivity occurs: for p0.7p\leq 0.7, the diffusion coefficient is larger in thicker films; this is accompanied by a decrease of the tortuosity with the thickness, thus indicating that growth continuously improves pore structure for diffusion. Microscopically, such a result is associated with narrower distributions of local solute currents at higher points of films. Particularly for p0.9p\geq 0.9, in which film porosity is 0.650.7\sim 0.65-0.7, the tortuosity is between 1.31.3 and 22, increases with the thickness, and has maximal changes near 25%25\%. Pairs of values of porosity and tortuosity that we obtain here, for the thickest films, agree with those experimentally measured in some porous electrodes. Noteworthy, the increase of film thickness is generally favorable for diffusion in their pores, and exceptions have small losses in tortuosity.Comment: Main: 37 pages, 11 figures, 2 tables. Suppl. A multi-objective-based approach for Fair Principal Component Analysis

In dimension reduction problems, the adopted technique may produce disparities between the representation errors of two or more different groups. For instance, in the projected space, a specific class can be better represented in comparison with the other ones. Depending on the situation, this unfair result may introduce ethical concerns. In this context, this paper investigates how a fairness measure can be considered when performing dimension reduction through principal component analysis. Since both reconstruction error and fairness measure must be taken into account, we propose a multi-objective-based approach to tackle the Fair Principal Component Analysis problem. The experiments attest that a fairer result can be achieved with a very small loss in the reconstruction error

Wigner phase space distribution as a wave function

We demonstrate that the Wigner function of a pure quantum state is a wave function in a specially tuned Dirac bra-ket formalism and argue that the Wigner function is in fact a probability amplitude for the quantum particle to be at a certain point of the classical phase space. Additionally, we establish that in the classical limit, the Wigner function transforms into a classical Koopman-von Neumann wave function rather than into a classical probability distribution. Since probability amplitude need not be positive, our findings provide an alternative outlook on the Wigner function's negativity.Comment: 6 pages and 2 figure

New determinations of gamma-ray line intensities of the Ep = 550 keV and Ep = 1747 keV resonances of the 13-C(p,gamma)14-N reaction

Gamma-ray angular distributions for the resonances at Ep = 550 keV and 1747 keV of the radiative capture reaction 13-C(p,g)14-N have been measured, using intense proton beams on isotopically pure 13-C targets. Relative intensities for the strongest transitions were extracted with an accuracy of typically five per cent, making these resonances new useful gamma-ray standards for efficiency calibration in the energy range Egamma = 1.6 to 9 MeV.Comment: 17 pages, 6 figures, Nuclear Instruments and Methods, Sec.
