The study selected Facebook as a representative of Social Networking Sites because Facebook is the most popular platform for sharing opinions, views, and ideas. A lion share of daily time is spent on surfing Facebook by a large number of university students in Bangladesh. This study endeavors to focus on Facebook’s positive impacts on students’ lifestyle, education, social and economic life, and negative impacts on health and personal relationships. It also investigates whether Facebook could be an essential tool for e-learning or not. 150 students took part in the survey and data was collected through a set of questionnaire. During data analysis, both qualitative and quantitative methods were applied. This study significantly finds that students reflect a high positive opinion, a low negative attitude, and a moderate addiction on Facebook. The study also revealed that Facebook could be utilized to enhance their academic performance and help them get the latest study-related information, share materials, and encourage collaborative learning, group studies, and interaction. It is also found that excessive and imbalanced use of Facebook affects the students’ health and family life. The researcher will try to provide some recommendations for the users to harvest a healthy benefit by using Facebook in a balanced way. In Bangladesh, English is taught as a compulsory course from class one till class 12. Still, the undergraduate students of Bangladesh cannot convey their thoughts in English. Students who come from the Bangla medium and pursue study at Tertiary level in non-English major subjects, they face enormous difficulties in their academic writing class. The present study aims to explore the writing problems of non-English major undergraduate students at Tertiary Level in Bangladesh. The study was conducted on 120 non-English major undergraduate students from different departments studying at Comilla University, Britannia University and National University. The study also has 30 teachers as participants. In this paper, the mixed approach method has been used, and data have been collected through questionnaires. Based on the data analysis, it’s perceived that Bangladeshi universities do not have well-integrated syllabus on academic writing to provide the chance of fair practice of writing skill in the classroom. This study also explores the importance of error analysis and error feedback, through which the teacher can motivate students to improve their writing. Besides, a few recommendations are provided to overcome writing problems. The goal of this article is to look into the current state of "emergency remote teaching" and the effects of Covid-19 on Bangladesh's primary education system. Bangladeshi School teachers started online classes few months after the compulsory closure of all educational institutions. This study sheds light on the changing roles of teachers during the pandemic situation, challenges of adaptation of online classes in both the rural and city areas, and the expanded responsibilities of the primary school teachers in terms of teachers’ experiences. Fifteen potential primary school teachers were interviewed over the telephone, and 50 primary and secondary school teachers from 45 different schools in Bangladesh were surveyed over Google forms. The quantitative data were analyzed with Microsoft Excel and summary of Google form, and the thematic analysis approach had been kept for qualitative one. The findings revealed that primary education level teachers have already started online classes despite not having any formal training or experience. The good news is that the teachers feel an urge to develop their knowledge by taking help from their own schools’ ICT teachers. The findings also revealed that most teachers are experiencing expanded responsibilities during the ‘new normal life,’ such as providing financial, moral, and psychological support to the students, maintaining a good relationship with guardians, and making them aware of the importance of online education. Even though few students have the facilities of digital resources and a friendly environment at home, they could not keep themselves engaged in the class. It is proved as one of the significant barriers of primary education level teachers. Students from rural areas and underprivileged urban areas are seen dropping out of school or engaging in child labor. Acknowledging the results, the study recommended some suggestions that might aid policymakers in eliminating the difficulties of remodeling the roles and responsibilities of the Bangladeshi school teachers at the primary level during the COVID-stricken period. This article aims to provide the analysis of drone technology and its use in today’s era. The main focus is on how this new technology is a threat to one and foremost fundamental right i.e. Right to Privacy under Article 21 of the Constitution of India in the light of Puttuswamy’s Judgment. In 2020, Drone Unmanned Aircraft System Rules, 2020 was framed and whether such rules compatible to deal with the issue of privacy or some other laws like Data Protection Bill is required to deal with the same. Further, every technology has its own pros and cons, as how the government is more inclined towards the use of drones in certain areas which are beyond the reach of the humans. Finally, few recommendation and suggestions are given by the authors to protect the privacy of an individual in an effective manner

Fetal Epidermal Differentiation and Barrier Development In Vivo is Accelerated by Nuclear Hormone Receptor Activators1

Nuclear receptors which interact with the retinoid X receptor are involved in the regulation of epidermal differentiation and development. We have recently shown that activators of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor and of the farnesoid X-activated receptor accelerate epidermal barrier maturation in fetal rat skin in vitro. In this study we asked whether cutaneous development in utero was affected by peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor or farnesoid X-activated receptor activators, or by an activator of another retinoid X receptor partner, liver X receptor. Activators of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (clofibrate or linoleic acid), farnesoid X-activated receptor (farnesol or juvenile hormone III), or liver X receptor (22R-hydroxycholesterol), were injected into the amniotic fluid of fetal rats on gestational day 17. Fetal epidermal barrier function and morphology was assessed on day 19. Whereas vehicle-treated fetal rats displayed no measurable barrier (transepidermal water loss > 10 mg per cm2 per h), a measurable barrier was induced by the intra-amniotic administration of all activators tested (transepidermal water loss range 4.0–8.5 mg per cm2 per h). By light microscopy, control pups lacked a well-defined stratum corneum, whereas a distinct stratum corneum and a thickened stratum granulosum were present in treated pups. By electron microscopy, the extracellular spaces of the stratum corneum in control pups revealed a paucity of mature lamellar unit structures, whereas these structures filled the stratum corneum interstices in treated pups. Additionally, protein and mRNA levels of loricrin and filaggrin, two structural proteins of stratum corneum, were increased in treated epidermis, as were the activities of two lipid catabolic enzymes critical to stratum corneum function, β-glucocerebrosidase and steroid sulfatase. Finally, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α and -δ and liver X receptor-α and -β mRNAs were detected in fetal epidermis by reverse transcriptase–polymerase chain reaction and northern analyses. The presence of these receptors and the ability of their activators to stimulate epidermal barrier and stratum corneum development suggest a physiologic role for peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor and liver X receptor and their endogenous ligands in the regulation of cutaneous development
