How Masterly Are People at Playing with Their Vocabulary? Analysis of the Wordle Game for Latvian
In this paper, we describe adaptation of a simple word guessing game that
occupied the hearts and minds of people around the world. There are versions
for all three Baltic countries and even several versions of each. We

In the empirical part of the research the author analyses how letter teaching
methodological techniques influence lettersā acquirement process in 5 86 years old children in
the preschool educational institution X.
The elaborated theoretical and empirical study can be used in preschool educational
institutions working with children acquiring letters and reading literacy.

Author of work: Evija Reinsone The aim of the research: To study theoretically and practically the formation of interests of pre-school age children about the nature through the play The Bachelor thesis consists of two parts, which contain several sub sections. Theoretical part reviews, compares and analyzes the opinions of psychologists and educators about the formation of interest toward nature. Interests characterized as promotersā of human activity. Thesis analyses formation of interest during the pre-school age and describes how play promotes the interest towards nature. Reviewing the available literature on formation of interest towards the nature through the play for children, it can be concluded that an adult plays an important role, which is expressed through application of materials from the nature and promoting the studying of the activities going on in the nature. The research part or the Empirical part is based on a practical study, in which 10 children from Riga pre-school educational institution, aged 3 to 4 years old, participated. In the research, children were initially monitored during the play that was based on nature, various nature playās were conducted, and children were repeatedly monitored and gained results conducted that confirmed the hypothesis. The research confirmed the expressed Hypothesis: the formation of interests toward nature and materials from the nature is promoted, if the children are provided with the age-related opportunities to play with materials from the nature as well as appropriate environment is ensured. With social media we get up in the morning and go to bed in the evening. The popularity and development of these platforms has been the fastest in human history. Social media has not only changed the way society consumes information on a daily basis but has also drastically changed the way the media and the media operate. The bachelor's thesis āSocial media as a journalism platform in Latviaā examines what social media is, how society uses social media, as well as how media media have or have not adapted to this use in their professional communication, specifically in journalism. The aim of the work is to identify and understand the types of use of social media platforms and mostly for the development of Latvian journalism, finding out the social media for journalists in Latvia in many different types of media.
The work analyzes the operation and types of different types of Latvian media media (print media, radio, television, Internet media) and content placed on social media platforms Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and Facebook in the period from March 21 to 27, 2022. The analysis is performed in accordance with six criteria for the use of social media: content distribution, promotion, information acquisition, audience involvement, public opinion research, additional content creation.
The study reveals for what purposes media media most often use social media platforms, what content is published and how media have adapted the use of each social media to their needs. The results show that specific social media platforms are most often used to distribute content generated by the media itself. Additional content is rarely created specifically for specific social media platforms. Social media-based media, such as Internet portals, are more active on social media, while print media, radio and a particular genre of journalism, such as investigative journalism centers, are more passive as a specific type of media organization, similar to news agencies and independent producers. associations. The results of the research can help to improve the operation of Latvian media on social media platforms, as the obtained conclusions have allowed to put forward proposals for the media and editorial staff to improve, learn and work on

Physical activity is important to the youth development process, as well as physical preparation and finding out whether the timing of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected it.
Objective of the study: to clarify physical activity habits and assess fitness in adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Question from the study: What are physical activity habits and their frequency, weekly duration and what is fitness for adolescents in the timing of the COVID-19 pandemic?
Study method - mixed method study, quantitative method (questionnaire), qualitative method (study).
Conclusions ā Survey study shows that 90% of respondents opt for moderate intensity physical activity, 54% opt for physical activity at an average of 3-6 times per week over 60 minutes, which does not match the recommended full number and intensity of physical exercise to show a positive rating in all test results. Respondents' habit is to engage in general physical activity, not specialized in developing the physical characteristics of rapid force, endurance and agility. The average distraction of fitness is consistent with below-average fitness, suggesting that fitness is undertraining. The physical activity habits of respondents are in line with the assessment of fitness, because the physical activity habits do not include specialised exercises for the development of physical characteristics, high intensity level of physical activity, according to the number of times of average classes, respondents do not perform daily physical activity.

The paper consists of three parts. That feature 4 - 5 year old child development characteristics, small muscle characteristics, theoretical approaches for the preparation of the child's hand writing, literacy development. The third chapter offers a set of exercises for the childās arm preparation for writing and a description of characteristics of a playing lesson.

The doctoral thesis is devoted to stories and conversations about getting lost experiences in contemporary Latvian society. Its main aim is to reveal what and how people tell about getting lost and in what ways a story and conversation is used as a tool to comprehend, analyse and interpret the phenomena. The research is based on the extensive fieldwork done in Latvia in the recent nine years during which more than 70 people were interviewed. Getting lost appears not only as individual and intimately personal experiences but also as cultural experiences that are in common and are told by many Latvians and have been fixed as belief legends by Latvian folklorists since the end of 19th century. The research provides the folkloristic, conversational and discursive analysis of the contemporary narratives about getting lost
