Sheephead Predation Trial Results
Results of field predation trials in which 15 urchins of three size classes (S,M,L) and two species (R, P) were presented in prey choice arenas. The size of sheephead attacking and consuming urchins in the arenas were recorded inside and outside of reserves at Catalina Island in August 2010
Sheephead Surveys at Catalina
Sheephead abundance and size distribution were quantified using SCUBA surveys in August 2010 and August 2011. Fish were surveyed on five 30 m × 2 m transects conducted in two reef zones (the inner [~10 m depth] and outer [~15 m depth] edges of the kelp bed at each site) in each year. Sizes were estimated visually to the nearest cm (total length [TL]) by divers experienced in estimating fish lengths
Pacific spp rcp26
This zipped file contains all the projections for Pacific species for RCP 2.6. Each file contains 21st century projection data for a single species and one of two RCPs (representative concentration pathway). The files are stored as ‘.RData’ files and each contains a single data frame to be used with R computing software. Each row of data consists of projected catch-per-unit-effort within a specific latitude-longitude referenced grid cell, for one of five time periods (2007-2020, 2021-2040, 2041-2060, 2061-2080, 2081-2100). Please refer to the ‘READ ME’ file that is included with the zip file for more details

Atlantic spp rcp26_A-L
This zipped file contains all the projections for Atlantic species for RCP 2.6, which have genera names beginning with the letters 'A' through 'L'. Each file contains 21st century projection data for a single species and one of two RCPs (representative concentration pathway). The files are stored as ‘.RData’ files and each contains a single data frame to be used with R computing software. Species projection uncertainty.
<p>Categorizing uncertainty for 878 species projections within the RCP 2.6 (A, C, and E) and RCP 8.5 (B, D and F) scenarios. (A and B) The logged standard deviation of projected shift distance plotted against the logged mean shift distance in km among 16 GCMs. (C and D) The distance-directional uncertainty (DDU) method where the residual error values from panels (A) and (B) were plotted against shift directional agreement among GCMs. (E and F) The latitudinal uncertainty (LU) method where the logged standard deviation in projected shift in latitude was plotted against logged mean shift in latitude among 16 GCMs. Red and blue lines indicate the 95th and 75th percentiles (C and D) or quantiles (E and F), respectively. Points are colored according to their level of uncertainty where red indicates high uncertainty, orange is medium, and blue is low uncertainty (C–F).</p
