This publication describes methods of generating bonding information for connecting with a Bluetooth accessory and sharing the bonding information with another Bluetooth device to enable the other Bluetooth device to autonomously connect, pair, and bond with the Bluetooth accessory. In aspects, the methods include the generation of user keys, the generation of the shared secret, establishing ownership of the Bluetooth accessory, sharing ownership of the Bluetooth accessory, sharing usage of the Bluetooth accessory, and management of users/owners of the Bluetooth accessory

First light preparations of the 4m ILMT

peer reviewedThe 4m International Liquid Mirror Telescope (ILMT) is a zenith-pointing optical observing facility at ARIES Devasthal observatory (Uttarakhand, India). The first light preparatory activities of the ILMT were accomplished in April 2022 followed by on-sky tests that were carried out at the beginning of May 2022. This telescope will perform a multi-band optical (SDSS gg', rr' and ii') imaging of a narrow strip (~2222') of sky utilizing the time-delayed integration technique. Single-scan ILMT images have an integration time of 102 sec and consecutive-night images can be co-added to further improve the signal-to-noise ratio. An image subtraction technique will also be applied to the nightly recorded observations in order to detect transients, objects exhibiting variations in flux or position. Presently, the facility is in the commissioning phase and regular operation will commence in October 2022, after the monsoon. This paper presents a discussion of the main preparation activities before first light, along with preliminary results obtained

A lot of research has been done in the field of path planning of wheeled as well as humanoid robots in the last few decades. The main motive of the research being conducted in the field of humanoid robotics is to imitate human like motions so that they can replace humans in hazardous situations and can work robustly, increasing production and helping humans in day today tasks. In this research, path planning of a wheeled mobile robot is done using Mamdani Fuzzy technique. The results obtained from experimental and simulation trials are compared and found be in agreement. In the next phase of the research, focus concentrated on achieving path planning in humanoid NAO. Path planning of humanoid NAO is attempted using a classical technique i.e. Artificial Potential Field Method and an artificial intelligence technique i.e. Cuckoo Search algorithm. In the final phase of this research, the navigational problem of a humanoid ROBONOVA is solved using a hybrid firefly neuro-fuzzy based algorithm. A comparative study is done between the experimental and simulation results obtained from both the techniques. Simulations for humanoid NAO are performed on V-REP software. Analysis of humanoid ROBONOVA is also done using a hybrid technique and results were recorded and compare

Evidence Based Study of Surasadi Gana on Respiratory Disorders: A Review

Introduction: Collection of medicinal herbs having similar effect are collectively known as Gana (group) in Samhita and Vargas (category) in Nighantu. Surasadi Gana is included in 37 of such groups mentioned in Sushruta Samhita, with 21 Herbs completing the group. This article is made in a view to review the importance and utility of few herbs included in Surasadi Gana indicated for the management of respiratory disorders. Material and Methods: The literature regarding the drugs mentioned in the group, collected from different Ayurveda classics. Research papers are compiled from published sources and discussed in light of therapeutic effects. Observation and Result: Maximum of the herbs in this group are having properties as Katu rasa (pungent) and Ushna veerya (hot potency). Such herbs are predominantly advised in Kapha (phlegm humour) dominant diseases, viz. Kasa (cough), Shwasa (asthma), Pratishyaya (common cold), Kushtha (skin disorders), Krimi (worm infestation) and Vrana (wound). Conclusion: The herbs, despite having several Ayurvedic indications, the respiratory tract is the focus of the specific activity

question several times, sometimes by my parents and relatives and sometimes by my friends who are in the in the same profession. In the United Kingdom and United States of America, dentists are amongst the 5% highest paid professionals 1 whereas in India dentists are struggling for earning a decent livelihood, baring a few. Although, there is a high burden of oral diseases in the country but there are few job opportunities in India, this amounts to stress amongst the dental students. This stress of the future prospects and fear of unemployment might/ can result in poor academic performance of students. Recognizing the importance of General Health in the process of economic and social development and improving the quality of life of our citizens, the Government of India INTRODUCTION Dentistry is no more the extraction of teeth only, but it is an emerging branch of medicine with the emphasis on conservation of tooth, replacement of teeth with life like appearance and dental implants. In ancient history of Indian medicine and ayurveda, dentistry was having its existence as a part and parcel of medicine for good health as "The oral cavity is mirror of good health of a person." Today, dentistry is not only relieving patients from pain but also improving their smiles. The changing trends of dentistry is catering public fi gures and celebrities by aesthetic and profi le enhancement. Despite the pace at which dentistry is moving forward the biggest question remains, "Why is the new brigade of budding dentists in dilemma?", I have been asked this Abstract Background: One of the known stresses amongst the dental students in India is the uncertainty of the career and fear of unemployment after graduation; this might result in declining student academic performance. Aims and Objectives: The objectives of this exploratory study are to investigate the motives behind choosing dentistry as a career option and as well determine the awareness regarding the future prospects of Dentistry amongst the dental students of the Uttarakhand state. Materials and Methods: A questionnaire comprising of open as well as close-ended questions were distributed amongst 500 dental students of Uttarakhand. The response to the questionnaire so obtained were analyzed. Results: 54.90% opted for BDS because they could not secure a seat for MBBS. 69.60% feel stressed when they think of future. 56.12% want to go for a postgraduate degree. 39.95% want to go for government jobs. 29.16% see a more secure future in own practice. 90% agree that they lack awareness about future prospects and feel the need to introduce an orientation course in the curriculum. Conclusion: The present scenario can improve by conduction of Orientation courses in all dental colleges to improve the awareness of students about the available career options, by establishment of counseling cells to combat stress amongst dental students, by creating more jobs in the government sector, and last but not the least, by increasing the number of post graduate seats in government dental colleges

Background:Restless leg syndrome is a common side effect of dialysis that causes people to keep moving their legs as a result of the leg nerves and muscles creating a crawly or prickly sensation. RLS often leads to severe sleep onset insomnia and seriously impaired quality of life. The study was aimed to find out the effectiveness of muscle stretching exercise in Restlessness leg syndrome among haemodialysis patients.Method: A quantitative research approach with times series research design was used for the study to assess the effectiveness of muscle stretching exercise on restlessness leg syndrome. The study was conducted in dialysis unit of selected multi-speciality hospital. Simple random sampling technique was used to assign the samples in experimental and control group in the study. Data was collected from 86 chronic kidney disease patients undergoing haemodialysis. The restless legs syndrome rating scale was used measure the magnitude of the RLS.Results: The result of the study shows that in baseline the RLS mean score was 0.59 and after a week of muscle stretching exercise program implementation the mean score was reduced to 0.34. Intervention was found to be effective in reduction of RLS symptoms of haemodialysis patients significantly (p≤ 0.05), whereas there was no significant change found in the control group. Conclusion: The study showed that intervention was effective in Reduction of RLS symptoms whereas continuous reinforcement was needed to lessen the RLS symptoms in haemodialysis patients.
