    Implementation of the Introduction to the School Field at FKIP University of Lampung

    One of the abilities and qualifications of prospective teachers is the result of their participation in the School Field Introduction (PLP) program. PLP is expected to be one of the efforts to prepare competent and prospective teacher candidates in the world of work. Field experience in teacher education programs helps students grow and develop as teachers. Field experience, an important component of teacher preparation. PLP aims to strengthen students' academic abilities in education and learning through activities in schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative with interview instruments and drawing conclusions. Sources of data are student teacher candidates who do PLP in schools in Bandar Lampung. The subjects in the study were student teacher candidates who held PLP in schools in Bandar Lampung. The research subject selection technique used snowball sampling technique. The results of this study, the PLP activity planning indicators are carried out by procedurally making activity agendas in the form of circulars addressed to students, heads of study programs and heads of departments, collaborating with the Education Office, determining partner schools, placing placements, preparing orientation and debriefing materials. implementation indicators during the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) emergency period, teaching exercises and extracurricular assistance cannot be optimal because most of the implementation is online. And the indicators for the assessment of components and weights of the PLP assessment consist of: 10% attendance on campus and schools and 40% Oral Examination by PLP supervisors

    Pengaruh Model PQ4R terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas IV

    The purpose of the study was to know the positive and significant effects of the application of the PQ4R models on the learning rerult. The type of the research was experimental research. The research design used non-equivalent control group design. The population amounted to 45 students.The sample used purposive sampling with a total of 24 students. The data collection techniques in the form of non-test techniques and tests the data analysis techniques used statistical tests independent samples test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect on the preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) model on the learning rerult of 0.58 students with the moderate category and tcount 2.177 ttable 2.021 (with α = 0.05).Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan penerapan model PQ4R terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 45 orang peserta didik. Sampel penelitian menggunakansampling purposive dengan jumlah 24 orang peserta didik. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakantekniknon tesdantes.Teknikanalisis data  menggunakan uji statistik independet sampel t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan model preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik 0,58 dengan kategori sedang dan  thitung  2,177 ttabel 2,021 (dengan α = 0,05).Kata kunci: Model PQ4R, Hasil Belaja

    Pengaruh Model Make A Match Dengan Media Kartu Gambar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

    The problem of this research is the low mathematic outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 11 Metro Pusat. the purpose of this research is to determine the significant effect on the application of the make a match type cooperative model with picture card media on mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population is 59 students. This study used a saturated sample technique with a total of 59 students. Data analysis techniques in this study used test, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis using simple regression test and t-test. The results of data analysis showed there is a significant influence on the application of the make a match type cooperative model with picture card media as indicated by Fcount is greater than Ftable (62.424.21) and t count is greater than t table (4.812.048). It was concluded that the cooperative model of the make a match type with picture card media had an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD N 11 Metro Pusat.Keywords: mathematic learning outcames, make a match, picture of cards

    Hubungan Pendampingan Orang Tua dalam Pembelajaran Daring dengan Hasil Belajar Tematik Peserta Didik Kelas V

    Belum optimalnya kegiatan pendampingan orang tua selama pembelajaran daring serta rendahnya hasil belajar tematik peserta didik kelas V SDN Se-gugus Budi Utomo melatari pelaksanaan kegiatan penelitian ini. Berdasar hal tersebut, tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui signifikansi hubungan pendampingan orang tua pada praktik pengajaran daring dengan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas V SDN wilayah Gugus Budi Utomo. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto korelasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Populasi melibatkan 78 siswa yang juga menjadi sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi, wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner. Adapun korelasi product moment digunakan dalam proses analisis data. Hasil penelitian menyatakan terdapat hubungan yang positif dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,415 yang berada pada taraf cukup kuat dengan kontribusi sebesar 17,22%. Temuan penelitian tersebut menunjukan bahwa aktivitas pendampingan orang tua berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik.

    Influence of auditor quality and audit committee effectiveness on earnings conservatism of Malaysian public listed firms

    This study investigates whether earnings conservatism is significantly higher amongst Malaysian publicly listed firms subject to higher standards of ‗direct custodian excellence‘ of the financial reporting system relative to counterparts subject to lower direct custodian excellence standards. Drawing on agency theory, supplemented by tenets of key corporate governance reforms undertaken in Malaysia since the Asian financial crisis in 1997, it is expected that direct custodian excellence is positively associated with earnings conservatism.For purposes of the main analysis, conservatism is defined in terms of both timeliness and persistence, and measured using models developed by Basu (1997). Direct custodian excellence, meanwhile, is derived as the function of audit quality (measured as a function of independence, specialization and brand name) and audit committee effectiveness (measured as a function of independence, financial expertise and diligence). Analysis is based on annual data (spanning the years 2002 to 2007) collected from 100 randomly selected Malaysian firms listed continuously on the Bursa Malaysia from January 1 2002 till December 31 2007) for each annual period from 2002 to 2007. Following exclusions for missing data points and outliers, empirical analysis is based on a final useable sample of 577 firm-year observations.Findings from an extensive analytical analysis show limited support for the study‘s general proposition. Rather, findings show the level of earnings conservatism is likely to be equivalent for a Malaysian publicly listed firm subject to higher standards of direct custodian excellence than a counterpart facing lower levels of direct custodian excellence. There is some evidence, however, supporting the view that a Malaysian publicly listed firm engaging a higher quality auditor is more likely to have higher levels of persistent earnings conservatism than a counterpart using the services of a lower quality external auditor. Additional analysis, meanwhile, suggests a lack of association between audit committee effectiveness and (both the timeliness and persistence of) earnings conservatism within the Malaysian capital market setting. Overall, findings provide valuable insights and understanding, not only in respect to the direct custodian excellence/earnings conservatism linkage, but the individual dynamics and significance of corporate governance and earnings conservatism concepts.

    Hubungan Motivasi Belajar dengan Hasil Belajar Matematika

    This study aims to determine the significant relationship between learning motivation and mathematics learning achievement of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Harapan. This type of research is ex-postfacto correlation. The population is 45 students and the research sample is 45 students. Data collection techniques were carried out namely observation, interviews, questionnaires (questionnaires), and study documentation. The instrument for data collection is a questionnaire with a Likert scale, which was previously tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. Based on the analysis conducted by the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between motivation to learn and mathematics learning outcomes indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.581 at the moderate level.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Tanjung Harapan.  Jenis penelitian yaitu ex-postfacto korelasi.  Populasi berjumlah 45 peserta didik dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 peserta didik.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuesioner (angket), dan studi dokumentasi.  Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket dengan skala Likert, yang sebelumnya diuji validitas dan reliabilitas.  Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dan multiple correlation. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar matematika ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,581 berada pada taraf sedang.    Kata kunci: hubungan motivasi belajar, hasil belajar, matematika

    The research method of this research was classroom action research. It consisted of 4 steps, such as (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, (4) reflecting; and it was implemented through 3 cycles. The data of the research were obtained through observation and test, in which by using guidance observation sheet, the students’ activity and teacher’s performance were analyzed using qualitative analysis technique.
