Parikartika is one of the Painfull condition in anal region Its references available in our classics as a complication of, virechana and basti karma by Acharaya Charaka and Acharya Sushruta respectively and also Acharaya Kashyapa has mentioned about parikartika as Garbhini vyapath. The word Parikartika means Parikartana vat vedana around Guda Pradesha. In modern science it can be correlated to fissure in ano. Here a case Report of a 33 Years-Male Patient suffering from Gudapradeshadaha (burning sensation at anal region), Malavasthambha (Constipation), Saraktamalapravrutti (Stools streaked with blood) since last 3-4 days with mild itching over anal region. He was treated with Patoladi taila Mathrabasthi for 7days, which gives effective result

This study aims to find out how far villagers and illiterates are aware of HIV in 104 patients both men women belonging to rural area around suryapet district. Non – co-operative and pregnant women are excluded from the study. Data collection was done in the period from December 8th to January 13th and analysed there education and occupational status and we found very interestingly more than 90% of the patients are not aware of HIV and its consequences and many of them don’t what is HIV and how can it will be prevented, many of the patients are spreading HIV to their spouse without unknowing that is sexually transmissible. Few patients don’t know that HIV will cause from undisposed needles. Interestingly whoever said they are affected due to un-disposed needles are not drug abusers they are affected due to malpractice done by RMPs who are using multiple use of single needle. And very few answered that HIV will transmitted through blood transfusion after they get affected. The people whoever effected mostly belongs to daily wage labour, farmers and truck drivers. So there is need to create awareness in villagers and illiterates to prevent further progression of disease and to prevent the transmission of disease to younger generation

Evaluation of Chemical Protective Clothing: A Comparative Study of Breakthrough Times with Sulphur Mustard and a Simulant, 1,3-Dichloropropane

Carbon-coated non-woven fabrics were evaluated against vesicant sulphur mustard and l,3-dichloropropane (DCP). Breakthrough times of these chemicals were compared andfitted in a linear equation. A correlation, better than 95 per cent was obtained. It is recommended that DCP be used in the valuation and quality control of fabric in the chemical protective clothing manufacturing industries to reduce the exposure and risks of handling lethal chemicals. However,-the clothing may be challenged with actual CW agents to determine their protective potentials, in the laboratory. Diffusion coefficients for DCP were also computed from the breakthrough data for carbon-coated fabric of different grades

A new species of scorpion, Buthoscorpio rayalensis sp. nov., is described from Andhra Pradesh, India. The new species of scorpion can be differentiated from its congeners in having the following set of morphological characters: anterior edge of carapace exhibiting very broad subtle indentation with a conspicuous epistome present medially, median eyes situated anteriorly in the ratio 1:3.1, interocular area smooth, patella anteriorly smooth and rounded, mesosomal tergites smooth, pectines 17–17, and arrangement of lateral eyes. Stenochirus jinnahii Amir, Kama-luddin et Jabbar, 2005 and S. rahmatii Amir, Kamaluddin et Jabbar, 2005 are considered Buthidae incertae sedis as their generic allocation has been erroneous
