Low concentration gas detection, rapid response time and low working temperature are anticipated for a varied range of toxic gas detection applications. Conversely, the existing gas sensors suffer mostly from a high working temperature along with a slow response at low concentrations of analytes. Here, we report an ultrasensitive flexible nanostructured Zn(x)Fe(1−x)2O4 (x = 0.1, 0.5 and 0.9) based chemiresistive sensor for nitrogen dioxide (NO2) detection. We evince that the prepared flexible sensor Zn(0.5)Fe(0.5)2O4 has detection potential as low as 5 ppm at a working temperature of 90 °C in a short phase. Further, the Zn(0.5)Fe(0.5)2O4 sensor exhibits excellent selectivity, stability and repeatability. The optimized sensor sensing characteristics can be helpful in tremendous development of foldable mobile devices for environmental monitoring, protection and control

This application system for Hotel Booking is an intranet application, which provides various hotels that are available for the users in the city. The application helps users to select their favorite dishes among the continental dishes that are available. Users also have the choice of choosing their flavors, ingredients, and can add many other choices to their recipe. This application provides an option through which users who have diabetes and blood pressure can place their order according to their choice. After placing the orders, users can add their item to the cart along with the previous orders they made and they can pay through credit card online system. After completing the payment process, application directs the users to the map to locate their address and their order is delivered to their doorstep. Besides the online order facility, the application has an alluring facility, through which users can book for dining and they can also book a banquet or can arrange a hall for parties. Through the responses given by the users the applications provide list of hotels or restaurants that have the required facilities

Chikungunya has resurged in the form of unprecedented explosive epidemic in 2006 after a long gap in India affecting 1.39 million of persons. The disease continued for the next two consecutive years affecting 59,535 and 64,548 persons during 2007 and 2008 respectively. The 2008 outbreak being the second largest among these three years the information regarding the etiology and the mutations involved are useful for further control measures. Among the 2008 outbreaks the Coastal Karnataka accounts for the 46,510 persons. An in-depth investigation of Chikungunya epidemic of Coastal Karnataka, India, 2008 by serology, virus isolation, RT-PCR and genome sequencing revealed the presence and continued circulation of A226V mutant Chikungunya virus. The appearance of this mutant virus was found to be associated with higher prevalence of vector Aedes albopictus and the geographical proximity of coastal Karnataka with the adjoining Kerala state. This is the first report regarding the appearance of this mutation in Karnataka state of India. The present study identified the presence and association of A226V mutant virus with Chikungunya outbreak in India during 2008

AbstractInferior venacaval compression is a common problem in late pregnancy. It can also occur due to compression of inferior venacava by abdominal or pelvic tumors. We report a case of acute iatrogenic inferior venacaval compression due to excessive abdominal packing during an intraabdominal surgery

    A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW ON HYDROGELS

    Get PDF
Polymers play a vital role in pharmaceutical development. Efforts have been continuously made to search a polymer that act in a controlled& desired way. Hydrogel development has solved many such issues. Hydrogels are hydrophilic, three-dimensional networks. Which are able to imbibe large amounts of water or biological fluids & thus resembles to a large extent, a biological tissue. They are insoluble due to the presence of physical or chemical crosslinks such as entanglements& crystallites. These materials can be synthesized to respond to a number of physiological stimuli present in the body, such as PH, ionic strength, temperature. The main aim of this article is to give a concise review on introduction, preparation methods, types, & various applications of hydrogels in the pharmaceutical field

Lung disease is a common health problem in many parts of the world. It is a significant risk to people health and quality of life all across the globe since it is responsible for five of the top thirty leading causes of death. Among them are COVID 19, pneumonia, and tuberculosis, to name just a few. It is critical to diagnose lung diseases in their early stages. Several different models including machine learning and image processing have been developed for this purpose. The earlier a condition is diagnosed, the better the patient chances of making a full recovery and surviving into the long term. Thanks to deep learning algorithms, there is significant promise for the autonomous, rapid, and accurate identification of lung diseases based on medical imaging. Several different deep learning strategies, including convolutional neural networks (CNN), vanilla neural networks, visual geometry group based networks (VGG), and capsule networks , are used for the goal of making lung disease forecasts. The standard CNN has a poor performance when dealing with rotated, tilted, or other aberrant picture orientations. As a result of this, within the scope of this study, we have suggested a vision transformer based approach end to end framework for the diagnosis of lung disorders. In the architecture, data augmentation, training of the suggested models, and evaluation of the models are all included. For the purpose of detecting lung diseases such as pneumonia, Covid 19, lung opacity, and others, a specialised Compact Convolution Transformers (CCT) model have been tested and evaluated on datasets such as the Covid 19 Radiography Database. The model has achieved a better accuracy for both its training and validation purposes on the Covid 19 Radiography Database
