Centrally Image partition Regularity near 0
The notion of Image partition regularity near zero was first introduced by De
and Hindman. It was shown there that like image partition regularity over
the main source of infinite image partition regular matrices near
zero are Milliken- Taylor matrices. But Milliken- Taylor matrices are far apart
to have images in central sets. In this regard the notion of centrally image
partition regularity was introduced. In the present paper we propose the notion
centrally partition regular matrices near zero for dense sub semigroup of
(\ber^+,+) which are different from centrally partition regular matrices
unlike finite cases
Performance Analysis of Strained Monolayer MoS MOSFET
We present a computational study on the impact of tensile/compressive
uniaxial () and biaxial ()
strain on monolayer MoS NMOS and PMOS FETs. The material properties like
band structure, carrier effective mass and the multi-band Hamiltonian of the
channel, are evaluated using the Density Functional Theory (DFT). Using these
parameters, self-consistent Poisson-Schr\"{o}dinger solution under the
Non-Equilibrium Green's Function (NEGF) formalism is carried out to simulate
the MOS device characteristics. 1.75 uniaxial tensile strain is found to
provide a minor (6) ON current improvement for the NMOSFET, whereas same
amount of biaxial tensile strain is found to considerably improve the PMOSFET
ON currents by 2-3 times. Compressive strain however degrades both NMOS and
PMOS device performance. It is also observed that the improvement in PMOSFET
can be attained only when the channel material becomes indirect-gap in nature.
We further study the performance degradation in the quasi-ballistic long
channel regime using a projected current method
Bridging, linking, and bonding social capital in collective action: The case of Kalahan Forest Reserve in the Philippines
"This paper seeks to identify the factors which are responsible for successful management of natural resources when communities are given opportunities to manage those resources. Applying the social capital framework, it analyzes empirical data from the well known case of Kalahan Educational Foundation, the Philippines. The study confirms previous findings, which have emphasized the high level of cohesion and traditional norms among a homogeneous community of indigenous peoples (bonding social capital) as a success factor. This study further identifies that for effective management of collective action, mobilization of bridging and linking social capital are equally important as they do not only help mobilize external resources but, at times, also promote bonding social capital." authors' abstractKalahan, People's Organization (PO), Bonding, Bridging, Linking social capital, Governance, Collective action, Environmental risk,

Changing agricultural scenario and its impact on food habit in north east states of India
In spite of the population explosion, it is possible to substantially augment the carrying capacity of the land, doubled or even tripled the food grain production and achieved rapid industrialization to provide economic security and improve the quality of life of the people of North East States of India. Since the planning period starts, stress has always been laid on the production of food grains to meet the requirements of the increased population. In this respect,  North Eastern Region of India  can not be compared with all other states of Indian Federation as growth of population is most alarming in this region due to immigration from neighbouring border countries and the flow of population to this region from other states of Indian Union. This problem of food insecurity can be linked with the backwardness in agricultural developmen
Oxygen deficient perovskites: effect of structure on electrical conductivity, magnetism and electrocatalytic activity.
The present thesis deals with the synthesis and study of the physico-chemical properties of perovskite based oxide materials. Several novel oxygen deficient perovskites (ODP) have been synthesized by conventional solid state synthesis method. The novel compounds are CaSrFe2O6-δ, CaSrFeCoO6-δ, Ca2Fe1.5Ga0.5O5, CaSrFeGaO5 and BaSrFe2O5. Their magnetic, charge transport and electrocatalytic properties have been studied. Structural effect on electrical conductivity, magnetic and electrocatalytic properties have been studied in some series of ODPs. CaSrFe2O6-δ, CaSrFeCoO6-δ, Ca2Fe1.5Ga0.5O5 and CaSrFeGaO5 have brownmillerite type orthorhombic structures with layered structure having alternate tetrahedral and octahedral layers which are connected to one another by corner sharing. These are vacancy ordered compounds. BaSrFe2O5 is vacancy disordered compound with cubic structure. Most of the studied materials exhibited G-type long range antiferromagnetic arrangement of magnetic moments. During the study of charge transport property, compounds with structural order in a particular series show relatively less conductivity at room temperature and semiconductive nature and transition to metallic conductivity during temperature dependent conductivity measurement. Vacancy disordered compounds show relatively higher conductivity at room temperature and show mixed (semiconductive and metallic) conductivity during temperature dependent conductivity measurement. The study of electrocatalytic properties revealed the relation with the conductivity and the structural order. The electrocatalytic activity toward oxygen evolution reaction is highly efficient if the material is highly conductive or highly ordered
