    The Perceived Image of Transjakarta Bus Rapid Transit

    Public transport services provided by Bus Rapid Transit TransJakarta has been launched by the local government of DKI Jakarta as a mass and rapid transport mode that can attract the users of personal vehicle to use this mode of transport. Although the passengers are increasing, but the condition has not reached the optimum level yet. This study is done as an attempt to map the image perceived by the users, either frequent users, occasional users, or non-frequent users. The image projected by the users will depend on the experience degree and information each individual has. The method used here is descriptive analysis and reduction factor to obtain the dimensions of image in the respondents' mind toward TransJakarta bus. The result shows five dimensions that construct the image, namely affective dimension (Eigenvalue = 5,488, or 26% of all variances), dimension of vehicle aspects (Eigenvalue = 1,794, or 8.5% of all variances), dimension of service characteristic (Eigenvalue = 1,635, or 7.8% of all variances), dimension of impact on the trip (Eigenvalue = 1,348, or 6.4% of all variances), and dimension of impact on the user/other people (Eigenvalue = 1,088, or 5.1% of all variances)

    Developing EFL Learners' Ability in Writing Report Text Through Mind Mapping Technique

    Mind mapping technique is one of the techniques that are very helpful in writing activities and is considered effective and able to help develop the ability of EFL learners in writing report text. This study aims to describe the development of the ability of EFL learners in writing report text through mind mapping technique. The research method in this study is qualitative research with a library research approach, where the researcher collects, analyzes, and reviews scientific journals or previous studies, which are then described and made a conclusion. The results showed that mind mapping was able to help in developing the ability of EFL learners in writing report text, especially in the content aspect, also mind mapping technique is considered very effective in helping to teach writing. Thus, it can be concluded that developing the ability of EFL learners in writing report text through mind mapping technique is very useful and effective in its use. So this study suggests EFL teachers be able to implement mind mapping technique in writing report text

    Molecular Characterization of Hemagglutinin-Neuraminidase Protein Virus Newcastle Disease (ND) in Surabaya During 2003 and 2016

    This study aimed to determine the mutation of amino acid, nucleotide homology, phylogenetic tree, epitope prediction of Hemagglutinin-Neuraminidase protein Newcastle Disease (ND) Virus isolated from traditional market around Surabaya. Samples were from 37 chicken with cloacal swab and one positive samples for control (LaSota). Samples were inoculated on embyonate chicken eggs and identified with HA test confirmed with HI test. Positive samples processed by PCR using forward and reverse primer with 503 bp RNA target. The PCR result then analyzed with sequencing. Result of sequencing analysis showed that theres similiarity between samples amino acid and vaccine isolate its effect the percentage of nucleotide homology and phylogenetic relation between isolate. Epitope NGAANNSGWGAPIHDPDYIGG have high immunogenic value at all of isolate which good as vaccine candidate

    Kabupaten Bantul Yogyakarta merupakan daerah yang rawan bencana gempa bumi. Tercatat pada tahun 2006 terjadi gempa bumi dengan korban jiwa meninggal 1.414 jiawa. Dibutuhkan upaya untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana dalam meningkatkan kesiapan masayarakat dan mahasiswa yang tinggal di wilayah Kabupaten Bantul Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh edukasi kesiapsigaan bencana menggunakan media buku saku terhadap perubahan sikap, persepsi dan intensi mahasiswa Prodi Administrasi Rumah Sakit Universitas Alma Ata Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest and posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 45 responden yang di ambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik paired t test. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perubahan sikap (p=0,003), persepsi (p=0,007) dan intensi mahasiswa (p=0,000) sebelum dan sesudah diberikannnya edukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana menggunakan media buku saku. Terdapat pengaruh edukasi kesiapsiagaan bencana terhadap perubahan sikap, persepsi dan intensi mahasiswa dalam menghadapai bencana gempa di Yogyakarta
