    The Integration of Character Values on Science Process of Students in SDN-8 Langkai, Palangkaraya City

    The issue of education today requires a learning that is able to build the character values within the student. Many students succeed cognitively, but they are weak in character (moral). This fact might be caused by the current learning that is dominated by cognitive achievement and ignoring the character values. A strategy to build the character values is through the integration of character values into the science learning (science process). This study aimed to 1) describe the implementation of the science process, 2) describe the character values in the science process, and 3) describe the students' responses after received learning the science process with character values in SDN-8 Langkai, Palangkaraya City. Aiming to measure the achievement of the research indicators, the research was conducted using the principles of qualitative research. The result showed that the average score of the science process implementation in SDN 8 Langkai had a good category; the overall of character values showed the development category and the students showed a positive response. In sum, the integration of character values into the science process had achieved.  Keywords: Integration, Character Values, Science Processes

    The problem that often occurs today is the lack of skills possessed by students. During this time students are required to excel cognitively and are less aware of the importance of having hand skills and following extracurricular activities. Through the assistance of hand skills, making crafts from simple materials can improve an independent and creative person. Through extracurricular activities of mentoring in the field of religion (call to prayer) and mentoring using Microsoft word helps students prepare themselves to face the development of science and technology very quickly, train students to communicate in writing, and be able to improve religious values. The targets in this service are children/students in the Orphanage in Palangkaraya City. Community service activities are carried out from November to December 2019 at the Ayah dan Bunda Orphanage, the Trans Kalimantan Road, and Berkah Orphanage, G.Obos XXIV. The implementation of this service received positive responses from the participants with high enthusiasm. There is still a need to do similar, more innovative service activities on an ongoing basis to shape personality according to these goals. This community service still needs to be carried out similar activities continuously to get personality according to these goals

    This study aims to determine the role of ‘Aisyiyah's Legal Aid Post (Posbakum) Central Kalimantan in providing legal assistance and supporting the policies of the Palangka Raya city government towards legal protection for women and children amid the Covid-19 pandemic. A qualitative-descriptive approach that describes people's behavior by highlighting events in the field and certain activities in detail and depth was used as the research method. The study describes the role of Posbakum ‘Aisyiyah in the form of legal assistance activities for clients starting from the reporting to the court counseling by its lawyer. The cases handled are mostly domestic violence, inability to provide a living, and abandoning the wife and children for another woman. One of the successes of legal aid posts in handling cases of domestic violence is contained in a copy of decision number 473/Pdt.G/2020/PA.Plk. Meanwhile, Posbakum works with the Division of Women and Children’s Empowerment of the PPKBP3APM Office Palangka Raya City to provide counseling on family resilience and skill training for housewives to provide protection and empowerment for women and to improve the community economy amid the Covid-19 Pandemi

    This study aims to determine the Quality of Public Service Standards in Cempaka Room (Postpartum Ponek) RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus. This research is a qualitative research with a naturalistic descriptive approach. Data collection is done by using interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers Want to Describe How the Quality of Public Service Standards in Cempaka Room (Postpartum Ponek) RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus, can work well with the community. The author uses 6 (Six) Public Service Standards, 1) Service Procedures, 2) Completion Time, 3) Service Costs, 4) Service Products, 5) Facilities and Infrastructure, 6) Competency of Service Providers.   The results of research and interviews that have been conducted can be concluded that the Quality of Public Service Standards in Cempaka Room (Postpartum Ponek) RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus still found several people who complained about the existing services, namely: (a) The completion time was not good enough in providing inpatient guarantee completion time, because the time of 3x24 hours was still felt to be too short for the recipient of services and the service flow was not yet one door so it needed long time in administrative management, (b) Facilities and service infrastructure contained in Cempaka Room (Postpartum Ponek) dr. Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya which is still lack of medical aids so it is very difficult in providing health services.   The author's suggestion to improve the quality and service in order to increase community satisfaction can be done by improving in terms of the existence of information boards on administrative service flow on the wall. The Hospital must procure new medical devices to support the quality of hospital health, increase maintenance of Hospital goods facilities and inadequate public facilities

    Perbedaan Persepsi Mahasiswa tentang Perkuliahan Daring

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan persepsi mahasiswa tentang pembelajaran daring di tinjau dari (1) asal Program Studi mahasiswa,  (2)  mata kuliah yang ditempuh, dan  (3)  jenis kelamin. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa FKIP UM Palangkaraya semester Genap tahun akademik 2019/2020. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang memprogramkan mata kuliah Metodologi Penelitian, Teknik Penulisan Karya Ilmiah, Problematika Pembelajaran,  dan mata kuliah Belajar Pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket daring  sebanyak 17 butir pertanyaan yang sudah divalidasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varian satu jalur dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada populasi mahasiswa FKIP UM Palangkaraya: (1), Tidak ada perbedaan persepsi tentang perkuliahan sistem daring jika ditinjau dari program studi mahasiswa, dengan nilai F hitung = 2,421 dan Sig 0.122 > 0.05, (2) Tidak ada perbedaan persepsi tentang perkuliahan sistem daring jika ditinjau dari jenis mata kuliah yang ditempuh mahasiswa, dengan nilai F hitung = 1,042  dan Sig 0.376 > 0.05,  (3)  Ada perbedaan persepsi tentang perkuliahan sistem daring jika ditinjau dari jenis kelamin mahasiswa, dengan nilai F hitung = 15,162 dan Sig 0.000 < 0.05. Dari analisis deskriptif diketahui bahwa mahasiswa laki-laki cenderung memiliki persepsi lebih positif tentang perkuliahan daring dibanding mahasiswa perempua

    This study aims to provide an effort to provide an overview of how waste management is based on community involvement in Menteng Village, Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan Province. The type of research used is qualitative research methods. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data. The primary data is the Solid Waste Management Section at the Palangkaraya City Residential and Settlement Service, UPT. Integrated Waste Management of Jekan Raya Region II District, Community in Menteng Village, Jekan Raya District, Palangkaraya City. While the secondary data source is Palangkaraya City Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2017 concerning Waste Management and Cleanliness. Based on the results of the research, it can be explained that Waste Management Based on Community Involvement in Menteng Village, Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan Province, in general this has not been maximized because (1) the implementation of socialization (banner / banner) is not maximal.     Implementasi LKS Tabela untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa SD

    The study aimed to (1) describe the science process activities of the fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya during learning by using the LAB Tabela (3) to find out the improvement of science processes of Muhammadiyah elementary school students in Palangkaraya city. The subjects in this study were all 27th-grade students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. The research method used by researchers was to use the class action research method with two cycles. The analysis technique in this study uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study show that the science process activities of students in learning using the LKS Tabela on average 2.92 are sufficient in the first cycle and the second cycle the excellent category is the average score of 3.79, and the results of the science process test showed an increase from the average pretest of 59.75 to an average of 89.5 in posttest, N gain of 0.82 in the high category. Through learning by using Tabela LKS able to improve learning outcomes and science process skills of students

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan guru dalam manajemen pembelajaran matematika secara daring pada kelas VB SDN-4 Menteng.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah guru kelas VB, kepala sekolah dan peserta didik kelas VB di SDN 4 Menteng. Objek yang diteliti adalah manajemen pembelajaran matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. analisis data digunakan tiga alur meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dengan keseriusan pengamatan dan triangulasi pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran matematika secara daring pada peserta didik kelas VB SDN 4 Menteng pada proses perencanaan guru merencanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013 yang telah disederhanakan. Pada proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan tatap muka secara virtual menggunakan Google Meeting serta penggunaan media pembelajaran berupa Power Point (PPT) dan papan tulis di Google Classroom sebagai penunjang kegiatan pembelajaran. Walaupun ada beberapa kegiatan yang tidak selalu dilaksanakan tetapi hal tersebut tidak menghambat berlangsungnya kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil evaluasi pembelajaran berjalan dengan baik hal ini dibuktikan dengan guru yang menyiapkan evaluasi pembelajaran berupa soal serta pemberian instruksi pengerjaan soal

    Problems in learning science (IPA) that occur to the students of SDN 5 Panarung Palangka Raya is the use of learning media that often done by the teacher but it has not been able to give the optimum results. It was signed by the students who can not follow the lesson well because they were tired, and do not have the braveness to argue or give a different idea according to the views and understanding that is in students themselves. This study is aimed to describe the skills of student teachers in implementing learning media based IT. The indicators to measure the achievement of the study conducted by using the principles of qualitative research. The results showed that the implementation of learning by students teacher in SD by using media based IT with the good category with an average score of 3.05. Students’ activity during the learning with media based IT is categorized well on the activity of carrying out the assignment that given by teacher (29.5%). Learning by using learning media based IT can improve students’ learning outcomes. It showed that the learning had been centered to the students

    This study aims to: (1) describe the learning activities of students in Mathematics learning using problem-based learning models with real media; (2) improving learning outcomes of Mathematics using problem-based learning with the actual press on fourth-grade students of SDN-3 Telangkah. The method and type of research used in this study are Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 32 students of grade IVA SDN-3 SDN. The data collection techniques in this study were observations and tests. While the data analysis techniques used qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that: (1) Learning activities of students during Mathematics learning used a problem-based learning model with real media to be good. This is by observation data, namely, in the first cycle obtained an average score of 3.4 with suitable criteria. (2) There is an increase in student learning outcomes in learning activities using problem-based learning models with real media on Mathematics which shows pre-action with an average of 58 with a percentage of 47%. And there is an increase in the first cycle with an average of 92 with a rate of 100% with the classification reached
