Metode Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learnig (Pbl)

This study aims to determine whether the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in the environmental pollution material in class X SMA Negeri 1 Darussalam Aceh Besar. The research was conducted in class X of SMA 1 Darusalam Aceh Besar of 20 students. This research was carried out of 2 cycles. Student learning outcomes data are obtained by giving a test (evaluation) in the form of a description of environmental pollution material. The research results were analyzed by descriptive analysis techniques and percentages. The results of observations of students' critical thinking abilities which showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II which was 59.75% in cycle I to 75.25% in cycle II. And student learning outcomes also increased from 70% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models can improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes

Peranan Bidang Olahraga Dispora Provinsi Riau dalam Mendukung Pembinaan Atlit Pelajar di Provinsi Riau Tahun 2012

This research is motivated by a not optimal and uneven development of studentathletes in Riau Province. This study aims to describe the role of Head of Sport insupporting students in Riau Province in 2012, and to determine the factors thatinfluence the performance of the Head of Sport in improving student achievementand well-being of athletes in Riau Province in 2012. Sites for this research RiauProvince is located Dispora housed in Pekanbaru. Subjects were 9 people in theDispora informants related Riau province in the field of sports. Engineering major orprimary data collection using interviews. Results reveal that the Dispora's role insupporting the development of student athletes is to hold a sporting event. In addition,the implementation of PPLP to support student athletes achievements. According tothe athletes, facilities and infrastructure provided by the Dispora during the coachingprocess is quite adequate. There are no significant obstacles during the developmentprocess. Komposisi Jenis Makroalga Di Perairan Pulau Hari Sulawesi Tenggara (Spesies Composition of Makroalga in Hari Island, South East Sulawesi)

Makroalga merupakan alga yang berukuran besar dengan struktur tubuh berupa thallus dan memiliki pigmen klorofil. Makroalga memiliki peranan penting di perairan laut baik secara ekologi maupun ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang keanekaragaman jenis makroalga di perairan Pulau Hari, sehingga diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran kekayaan makroalga di Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian dilaksanakan di perairan Pulau Hari Kabupaten Konawe Selatan pada bulan mei-juli 2016. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan sistim jelajah yaitu mengamati semua jenis makroalga yang ditemukan pada area yang dilalui. Hasil penelitian jumlah jenis makroalga yang ditemukan terdiri atas 25 spesies yang meliputi 11 ordo, 14 famili, 17 genus. Komposisi jenis didominasi oleh kelas Chlorophyta (44 %), kelas Rhodophyta (28 %) dan kelas Phaeophyta (28 %). This study aims to analyze the use of dry dandruff cure lime assessed from theskin itching of the head, the amount of crust / dandruff, scalp conditions and hair losslevels with 3 levels of the control group treated without the use of lime, experimentalgroup 1 with one time a day treatment and experimental group 2 with treatment one timein 2 days. This type of quasi experimental study. Sampling was purposive samplingtechnique was used by volunteers. The sample was 9 student UNP who wear veils andindicated suffering from dry dandruff. Data analysis was descriptive and analyticalVarian. The results showed that the cure dandruff in the control group did not show achange towards the better on every indicator while the experimental group one andexperiment there is a significant effect on each indicator. The difference between thehealing effect of three treatment groups showed significant results on each indicator. Useof lemon juice can cure dandruff considerably with the best use of the frequency in thetreatment group once a day

This research aims to increase student achievementon the subject Atomic Structure and System of Periodic unsure inclass X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. The samples of this research were the students of class X.5 as the experimental class and students of class X.6 as the control class.Experimental class is a class that is applied learning strategy The Firing Line, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 1,70 > 1,67, ). It means that the application of learning strategy The Firing Line can improve student's achievement on the topic of atomic structure and system of periodic unsure inclass X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. Pembuatan Briket Arang Daun Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Dengan Perekat Pati Sagu (Metroxylon Sago Rott.)

Increasing need of energy and decreasing of fuel supply requires human to discover alternative energy resources. Consequently, there should be a research to discover a new renewable energy source such as palm leaves waste. Oil palm\u27s leaves (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) are mostly the least used waste from oil palm plantation as an alternative energy resources. This research aims to discover the precise adhesive consentration rate in sago\u27s starch (Metroxylon sago Rott.) to make oil palm\u27s kernel, which are 97%:3%, 96%:4%, 95%:5%, 94%:6%, and 93%:7%. Based on analitycal result of oil palm\u27s leaves charcoal briquet research, the best quality briquet is the P1 composition which composed rate is 97%:3%, has 3,21% water content, 30,18% ashes content, 0,0022 g/s combustion rate, 20,73% evaporated substance rate, 54,46% carbon rate, and 5.114 cal/g heat value

In one hand, role of state is needed to keep democratization on the right track. It means that state must guarantee its citizen not to behave anarchism. On the other hand, if state's role is too far, it can also threat its citizen's freedom. Therefore, this article wants to show what aspects of political elite considerations in making strong state and have role in local autonomy as a part of local democracy in Indonesia through implementing Law No. 32/2004
