    This research aims to develop a learning module to improve the comprehention of basic statistical concepts statistical analysis on physical education students the academic year 2013/2014. This research is a development . 4-D model of development is a model of device  development learning . 4-D development model consists of four main stages , namely : 1 . Define  , 2 . Design, 3 . Develop and 4 . Disseminate. The subjects of this study were students taking a basic statistics course in semester III . Data analysis using descriptive analysis and percentage . The results showed that the use of learning modules to improve comprehention of the concept is in the category of complete comprehention . While student responses to the learning module used in the results obtained 71.5 % strongly agreed , and 28.5 % agreed

    Study of Science Learning Based on Scientific Literacy in Improving Critical Thinking: A Scoping Review

    Facing and following increasingly sophisticated technological developments in science learning studies, both pupils and students must increase scientific literacy to improve critical thinking. Critical thinking skills will encourage students to understand problems and create alternative problem solutions with problem solving stages, namely clarification, assessment, inference and strategy. This research aims to explore the Study of Science Learning Based on Scientific Literacy in Improving Critical Thinking. The research was conducted using a scoping review approach. A scoping review is typically used to map the existing literature on a defined topic in terms of the volume, nature, and characteristics of key studies. The results of the scoping review analysis found several problems such as the low level of science learning regarding scientific literature so that pupils and students are unable to identify problematic issues and scientific evidence due to a lack of practicing skills in conducting scientific literature. The impact that occurs is that the ability to think critically decreases. Therefore, various efforts are being made, one of which is that pupils and students must have concepts to connect science, science learning websites, focus on specific knowledge, be able to design relevant indicators, have the ability to translate into critical, systematic and anticipatory actions, students' critical thinking skills , school location, and problem-based learning mode

    This research aimed to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward concept mastery and critical thinking ability of physics of X grade students of SMAN 1 Kuripan in academic year 2017/2018. This research was an experimental research with post test only control group design. The population of this research was X MIA students consicted of 3 classes with the total number of the students was 30 for each class. The sample was chosen using cluster random sampling technique. Technique of collecting data of the mastery concept and critical thinking ability using essay test. Gained data was analyzed using manova test. The result of hypotesis test showed , so it was concluded that there was an effect of guided inquiry learning wodel on the mastery of concept and critical thinking ability of physics of X grade students of SMAN 1 Kuripan in academic year 2017/2018

    This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which aims to increase physical activity and learning outcomes of students of class VII SMPN 5 Jonggat in academic year 2015/2016 by applying the model-aided Discovery Learning with simple props. Classroom action research consists of four stages, that are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, while the implementation of the model of Discovery Learning aided with simple props was done through six stages, that are stimulation, problem identification, datacollectingby using props simple, data processing, verification and conclusion. This research was done in two cycles. Based on the result of research that had been done, obtained theaverage score of student learning activities in first cycle in the first and second meeting were 8.8 in sufficient active category and 12 in the active category. The evaluation results in first cycle obtained average grade reaches 60 with classical completeness 73%. In second cycle,the average score of student learning activity in the first and second meeting were 16.6 and 18, with both of them are in the very active category. The average results of students in the second cycle increased to 68 and 85% of classical completeness. Based on the results of the research, it could be concluded that the application of the model-aided Discovery Learning with simple props can increase the activity and learning result of students of class VII SMPN 5 Jonggat in academic year 2015/2016

    Students problem-solving skills ability on work and energy topics with different science process skills using a problem-based learning model

    This study aims to: (1) determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on students' problem-solving abilities; (2) study the effect of science process skills on students' problem-solving abilities; (3) find the interaction between problem-based learning PBL models and science process skills on students' problem-solving abilities. The type of research is quasi-experimental research with Factorial Design 2 x 2. Population in research of all tenth-grade science students at senior high school SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari in 2017/2018 academic years. Sampling in this study uses the cluster random sampling technique, in which the X MIA is an experiment class, and the X MIA 1 is a control class. The research instrument used was a description test taking into account the problem's validity, reliability, power difference, and level of difficulty and using observation sheets of science process skills. The data of this study were analyzed by two-way variance analysis with a 2 x 2 factorial design. Based on the result of the study, the average value of the post-test experimental class was 80.29, and the control class was 73.25. The normality and homogeneity tests showed that the two classes were normally distributed and homogeneous at a significant level of 0.05. Then proceed with hypothesis testing using a two-way ANOVA test. The result showed that: (1) FA>Ftable that is 29.35>4.02 means that there is an influence of the PBL model on students' problem-solving abilities; (2) FB>Ftable, namely 29.35 > 4.02 means that there is an influence of science process skills on students' problem-solving abilities; (3) FAB< Ftable, is 3.93<4.02 means that there is no interaction between PBL models and science process skills on students' problem-solving abilities

Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru adalah kegiatan lesson study. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru-guru di MAN 2 Mataram melalui penyuluhan tentang lesson study. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu, koordinasi awal dengan guru dan pihak sekolah, kegiatan penyuluhan dan pendampingan, kegiatan evaluasi dan pelaporan. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar sesuai rencana. Guru yang menjadi peserta antusias dan bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Peserta mengharapkan ada kegiatan lanjutan berupa pelatihan sejenis untuk keterampilan lainnya

    : This research is experimental study aimed to determine the effect of Science Technology and Society (STS) learning model by discussion methode on learning outcomes physics student 8th grade SMPN 1 Labuapi in the academic year 2014/2015. Design research is posttest only control group design with sampling using cluster sampling, in order to obtain students of grade VIII C as experimental class and students of grade VIII E as the control class. The research instrument used was a multiple choice test with four alternative answers considering the validity, reliability, power and level of difficulty different matter. The result showed that the average value was 75.05 posttest experimental class and control class is 54.4, the both class are distributed normally and homogeneous. Posttest data were analyzed using t-test and the two parties obtained of 11.65 while 2.02 with a significant level of 5%, as so that or so Ha accepted and is rejected, which means that there are differences in the results studied physics students between the use of learning model Science Technology and Society (STS) by discussion method and conventional learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that Science Technology and Society (STS) learning model with discussion method affects the learning outcomes of physics students 8th grade SMPN 1 Labuapi in the academic year 2014/2015
