Impact of ambient in product photography

Dandanes se vse več ljudi poslužuje spletnega nakupovanja, kjer vsa prodaja poteka zgolj na osnovi fotografij, ki jih prodajalci prikažejo na njihovem spletni mestu/oglasu/trgovini itd. Od vsakega prodajalca posebej je odvisno, kako bo predstavil svoj izdelek. Po članku iz spletnega mesta Expert Photography naj bi se 99 odstotkov nakupov zgodilo zaradi čustvene reakcije in cilj vsakega prodajalca je, da to sproži v samem kupcu. Vsaka fotografija, ki predstavlja določen izdelek, mora biti premišljena. V diplomskem delu bomo opisali ter razčlenili produktno fotografijo. Pod drobnogled pa bomo vzeli še t. i. »flat-lay« fotografijo, ki je dandanes vse bolj popularna med bolj ali manj profesionalnimi fotografi. Govorili bomo tudi o fotografiji ur, ki smo jo sami uporabili pri izdelavi eksperimenta. Z izdelanimi fotografijami smo ure prikazali v njihovem najbolj in najmanj ustreznem ambientu. Strinjanje ali nestrinjanje anketirancev smo predstavili v rezultatih. Spol in starost udeležencev nista vplivala na rezultate ankete, s katerimi smo dosegli naša pričakovanja. Na najvišjih mestih so namreč pristale kombinacije ur in ambientov, ki so se stilsko ujemali med seboj (npr. športna ura v športnem ambientu).Nowadays more and more people are using online shopping, where all the sales are based on photos that the sellers show on their web sites/ads/stores, etc. It depends on each retailer how they want to present their products. According to an article from the Expert Photography website, ninety-nine percent of all purchases happen because of a customer’s emotional reaction, and the goal of every seller is to trigger that reaction in a customer. Each photo that represents a specific product needs to be thought out. In the thesis we will describe and break down the process of product photography. We will also take the »flat-lay« photography under the microscope, which is nowadays increasing in popularity and used among more or less professional photographers. We will also talk about the photography of the watches, which we used in the experiment. With the photographs taken, we showed the watches in their most and least appropriate ambience. The agreement or disagreement of the respondents was presented in the results. The gender and age did not affect the results of the survey, with which we met our expectations. In fact, the combinations with the matching watch and ambience styles reached the highest scores (e.g. a sports watch in an ambience of a sport)

Attacks and Defenses Utilizing Cross-Layer Interactions in MANET

Cross-layer protocol design is one of the prevailing methodologies that have recently been adopted in networking research and leads to significant performance benefits. In this study, we assess the performance of cross-layer interaction and investigate its effects with regard to security and information assurance of mobile ad hoc wireless networks. Using attacks in realistic wireless networks as a prototype, we find that natural cross-layer interactions between physical, MAC and network layer protocols in MANET can turn out to be a weak point, causing various attacks and intrusions. However, by allowing a controlled synergy between layers affected by attacks, we facilitate timely detection of such attacks that are otherwise difficult to detect and may have devastating effects on network functionality and operation.

A Study of IEEE 802.15.4 Security Framework for Wireless Body Area Network

A Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) is a collection of low-power and lightweight wireless sensor nodes that are used to monitor the human body functions and the surrounding environment. It supports a number of innovative and interesting applications, including ubiquitous healthcare and Consumer Electronics (CE) applications. Since WBAN nodes are used to collect sensitive (life-critical) information and may operate in hostile environments, they require strict security mechanisms to prevent malicious interaction with the system. In this paper, we first highlight major security requirements and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks in WBAN at Physical, Medium Access Control (MAC), Network, and Transport layers. Then we discuss the IEEE 802.15.4 security framework and identify the security vulnerabilities and major attacks in the context of WBAN. Different types of attacks on the Contention Access Period (CAP) and Contention Free Period (CFP) parts of the superframe are analyzed and discussed. It is observed that a smart attacker can successfully corrupt an increasing number of GTS slots in the CFP period and can considerably affect the Quality of Service (QoS) in WBAN (since most of the data is carried in CFP period). As we increase the number of smart attackers the corrupted GTS slots are eventually increased, which prevents the legitimate nodes to utilize the bandwidth efficiently. This means that the direct adaptation of IEEE 802.15.4 security framework for WBAN is not totally secure for certain WBAN applications. New solutions are required to integrate high level security in WBAN.Comment: 14 pages, 7 figures, 2 table

Economic importance of use of pesticides in wheat production

Quality and productivity determined by genotypes and application of scientific farming measure in wheat production. The pesticides are contributing to achieving high yield of wheat which application. The aim of this work is economic analysis of pesticides application in wheat production. For analysis used collected data from 32 wheat producers in rural area of Republic Serbia. The results in included farms in this investigation showed that average area of wheat production was 1.6 ha with achieved average grain yield 3621 kg ha-1 and average costs 563.15 € per hectare. The average use of pesticides active ingredients was 892.5 g. Wheat producers applied the different amount of pesticides active ingredients: 646 g (72.44%) of herbicides, 231.7 g (25.96%) of fungicides and 14.3 g (1.60%) insecticides. The average plant protection costs by used pesticides were 70.30 euros ha-1, which was 12.48% of wheat production. The gain threshold computed was 319.54 kg ha-1. For achieving high economic output in wheat production is necessary apply right dose of pesticide, decrease costs of production and continuously provide education of farmers

State of agro-food foreign trade in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Trade of agricultural products plays an important role in food security, development of production and processing of products, strengthening the economy and GDP growth. The aim of this paper is to establish the trend of trade of food, live animals, drinks and tobacco in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H). Foreign trade of food products in B&H has been investigated for the past six years (2012- 2017). In B&H, annual import of agricultural and food products exceeds BAM 2.5 million and the export is approximately BAM 600 million. Food production is a strategic interest of every country. The coverage of import by export was the highest in 2017 (29.9%) and 2016 (29.4%), while the lowest was in 2014 (18.4%). During the investigated period, there was a deficit of trade in B&H. Both export and import in agro-food sector have been increasing recently, while the volume of export has a higher growth than import

Detection and Classification of Network Intrusions using Hidden Markov Models

This paper demonstrates that it is possible to model attacks witha low number of states and classify them using Hidden MarkovModels with very low False Alarm rate and very few FalseNegatives. We also show that the models developed can be used forboth detection and classification. We put emphasis on detectionand classification of network intrusions and attacks using HiddenMarkov Models and training on anomalous sequences. We test severalalgorithms, apply different rules for classification and evaluatethe relative performance of these. Several of the attack examplespresented exploit buffer overflow vulnerabilities, due toavailability of data for such attacks. We emphasize that thepurpose of our algorithms is not only the detection andclassification of buffer overflows; they are designed fordetecting and classifying a broad range of attacks

Possibilities for Sustainable Rural Tourism Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Rural areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina include more than 80% of the country's territory and are inhabited by more than half of the population. In order to preserve the natural environment, traditions and customs, rural tourism is developing and rural areas are getting active for tourism purposes. The authors analyze the current state of rural tourism in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and provide recommendations for its sustainable development. The analysis shows that the basic problems that could slow down the development of rural tourism are: lack of incentives for the development and improvement of the state and government institutions, lack of subsidies for young people who want to live and work in the countryside, inability to use quality land for non-agricultural purposes, lack of defined standards for rural development and underdevelopment of infrastructure

Household food waste in Belgrade - sin and unconcern

The aim of this study was to examine the actual procedures with food in households and consumer attitudes about food waste. The survey was conducted in 83 households in Belgrade, Serbia. All participants were interviewed using a standardized questionnaire. The results obtained show that awareness of food waste is at a satisfactory level, but the actual situation is that food is discarded in large quantities, even though people are aware of what a global problem this is. Large contradictions were observed among the respondents answers in this study. Respondents who stated that they never discard food, in further responses, declared they throw away significant amounts of food for various reasons (too long storage, overconsumption, improper preparation, etc.). We conclude that people are either unaware of how much food they discard, or they do not want to admit it to themselves. However, participants largely have a sense of guilt about discarding food. This indicates consumer awareness of food waste, and is an encouraging sign that further education could be effective in consumers taking into account their food waste habits, starting from procurement planning, through storage and preparation

Poljoprivreda i turizam na seoskim gazdinstvima Vojvodine

Jedan od primarnih razvojnih turističkih proizvoda Republike Srbije (i Vojvodine) je turizam ruralnog područja ili seoski turizam. Brojne negativne ekonomske, socijalne i demografske posledice na tim područjima (jednosmerne migracije stanovnika sela ka gradovima, nezaposlenost, siromaštvo i drugo) rezultat su zanemarivanja ruralnog područja (varošica, sela i salaša) u prošlosti. Poljoprivreda je prestala da bude glavni pokretač razvoja ruralne ekonomije, te je potrebno delovati uz pomoć različitih aktivnosti zasnovanim na potencijalima ruralnih područja, kao što su multikulturalnost sredine, povoljni geografski položaj, očuvana životna okolina, mogućnost proizvodnje zdrave hrane i slično. U ovom radu autori daju predloge kako se povezivanjem poljoprivrede i različitih oblika turizma i turističkih delatnosti na selu stvaraju nove poslovne šanse i doprinosi razvoju ruralnih područja. Autori zaključuju da se turizam ruralnih područja ne koristi u dovoljnoj meri kao sredstvo za aktiviranje i održivi razvoj ruralnih područja, iako mnoga od njih imaju brojne socio-ekonomske probleme koji bi na ovaj način mogli biti rešeni
