Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Pelaksanaan Manajemen Peningkatan Mutu Berbasis Sekolah
This study aimed to describe the principal\u27s leadership in the implementation of the School-Based Management of Quality Improvement (MPMBS) in SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak which includes leadership in disseminating the objectives MPMBS, involving teachers, administrative staff, students and committees, oversight and evaluation of the implementation MPMBS. This study used a qualitative approach with a design case study. Sites is SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak in West Kalimantan Province. Sources of data in this study is the principal, teachers, administrative staff, school committee, parents and students. The data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation of non participant. Results of data analysis showed that the principal\u27s leadership in the implementation of the School-Based Management of Quality Improvement (MPMBS) in SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak has been quite effective and in accordance with school policy and planning

Interactive CD Media Development in The Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) Lessons by Problem-Based Integrated Social Studies Learning Model in Eighth Grade Junior High School. The aim of this research is developing Interactive CD Media in The Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) Lessons by Problem-Based Integrated Social Studies Learning Model in class VIII SMPN 9 Pontianak. The methods of this research that is used is descriptive qualitative methods. The data is collected from the result of questionnaires and tests. Those were analized qualitatively. The results of this research showed that: 1) The results of the Interactive CD Media Development in The Social Studies (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) Lessons by Problem-Based Integrated Social Studies Learning Model with criteria very good with mean score of 4.37; 2) the data on students' motivation after learning conducted showed excellent criterion with a mean score of 3.37. 3) students motivation after learning conducted result in criteria very good with the mean score 3.37; 5) learning acquisition showed an increase in the mean pre-test score of 37.00, while the post-test mean score of 69.67 leading to increase in the mean score of 32.67 students. Thus, it can be concluded that the interactive CD media products developed valid and fit use in learning in Integrated Social Studies Lessons in SMP class VIII

The purpose of this study was to uncover the function of school leadership in terms of: affecting, moving, personal directing schools to improve school quality. To express these questions researchers used a qualitative research approach case study. To collect data and information from informants, the researcher uses participant observation, interviews, and documents in the process of collecting research data. This study has formulation of problems to discover whether there is any significant relationship between transformational leadership and head of medical college motivation to the performance.This study is descriptive study with quantitative methods and using a correlation study design.Population in this study are the lecturers of medical college in Pontianak, by giving questionnairesto 70 lecturers as samples. Results of the partial correlationanalysis conclude that (1) there is a significant relationship between transformational (X1) to the performance of Lecturer In implementing learning administration (Y), with a correlation coefficient is 0,041. (2) there is a significant relationship between The head of medical college motivation (X2) to The performance of Lecturer In implementingLearning Administration (Y), with a correlation coefficient is 0,030. This study aimed to obtain information komperehensip regarding the ability of managerial principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak related to planning, monitoring, evaluation, description, and the constraints faced by principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling. This research is a qualitative descriptive penelitain. Source data is comprised of principals, vice-principals, guidance and counseling teachers, and students. Data collection procedures performed through observation, interviews and in-depth terstrktur, and documentation. Checking the validity of the findings made by the member check, the adequacy of reference, and triangulate. Analysis of the data used is qualitative analysis is to describe and interpret the data. The results of the following conclusions: 1) Planning principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been prepared in accordance with existing procedures, 2) Supervision principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been implemented by way of prevention early and preventive action, 3) evaluation of principals in improving the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been done by supervising teacher BK regularly, 4) Description of the competence of teachers guidance and counseling in MAN 1 Pontianak has been implemented by understanding competencies pedagogic and help students towards learning difficulties, 5) Constraints faced by principals in improving the competence of teachers in guidance and counseling MAN 1 Pontianak already can be minimized by providing opportunities for counseling teacher to develop a career
Implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah pada Satuan Pendidikan Tingkat Sltp di Entikong.
Tujuan peneltian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasai MBS. Secara khusus untuk memperoleh informasi mendalam mengenai, 1) perencanaan MBS, 2) strategi MBS, 3) hasil monitoring pelaksanaan program MBS, 4) pencapaian serta efektifitas program MBS, 5) mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat MBS. Penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Sumber datanya kepala sekolah, guru, komite sekolah. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi non partisan dan studi dokumenter. Analisis data melalui 3 alur yaitu reduksi,penyajian dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitiannya bahwa implementasi MBS di Entikong perencanaanya cukup baik dengan melibatkan sumber daya yang dimiliki sekolah, berhasil dijalankannya program sekolah sehingga: (1) Kepala sekolah perlu perbaiki perencanaan program dengan memperhatikan perkembangan output pendidikan yang mengarah pada perbaikan MBS. (2) Untuk mencapai kepuasan dan harapan masyarakat sebagai pelanggan di SMP Negeri 1 Entikong, kepala sekolah perlu strategi implementasi MBS. (3) kepala sekolah perlu memonitor implementaasi MBS, (4) Kepala sekolah bekerjasama dalam upaya meningkatkan pencapaian secara berkala. Kata kunci : Implementasi, Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah, Abstrac: The focus of the research is an implementation of School-Based Management at Junior Secondary schools of Border Region of Indonesia-Malaysia : A Case Study at SMP Negeri Entikong. The research applied qualitative approach with case study design. The sources of data are the principal, teachers, school committee, and students. The data are obtained from interview, non-participant observation and documentary study. The data are analyzed through triangulation, i.e. data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The research has involved all resources of the school who have implemented the school's programs, thus, some problems could be solved. From the research conclusions, some suggestions are proposed as follows: (1) the principal need to do improvement continuously on education service planning programs on educational outputs which are directed to the improvement of school-based management, (2) to reach society's satisfactory and hope on SMPN 1 Entikong, the principal need to implement some strategies of School-Based Management, (3) relating to the tasks as leadership, the principal needs to do monitoring on School-Based Management implementation so that the results of school programs could be known, (4) the principal needs to cooperate with all resources in order to increase achievements of the plans
