In this article, we present the results of a pedagogical experiment conducted in a
university context. The goal of this experiment is to introduce students to active methodologies
through a pedagogical approach in three stages: i) documentary research of five scientific
articles relating to an active methodology chosen by the students (flipped learning, project based learning, among others); ii) restitution of the documentary research in the form of a mind
map; iii) creation of an infographic version of the mind map which presents the strengths and
limitations of the chosen methodology. The process takes place through a padlet used as a
collaborative workspace, contributing to the implementation of a digital portfolio that brings
together the material produced in the previous steps. In order to bring to light the students'
perceptions of the proposed approach, a questionnaire was submitted. Data processing was
carried out using a mixed-methods approach (closed-ended and open-ended questionnaire).
The results seem to show the positive impact of the approach both in terms of the appropriation
of didactic concepts and in the development of digital literacies. By using different digital tools
(virtual collaborative wall, mind map, creation of an infographic, etc.), the students are
introduced to new learning environments that involve a productive dialogue between
documentary research and multimodal communication of this research in the digital age.
Taking advantage of technological advances in information systems to automate the proposed
approach may seem tempting in several respects, but from a pedagogical point of view, such
automation can reduce the active role of learners insofar as it focuses only on the final product
and not on the (meta)cognitive strategies to be implemented to achieve it
The concept of corpus presents several challenges in linguistics : what is a corpus ? How is it designed ? How is it used and analysed ? This paper aims at providing lines of thinking around these issues. Corpus linguistics has been partially inspired by foreign language teaching, with people like Sweet or Palmer and then by Firth, Sinclair or Halliday. Accordingly, the use corpora in the field of foreign language teaching seems to be relevant. In this paper, we look back on the choices that have been made in the design of the IntUne corpus (a media corpus collected in a project of the sixth framework programme of the European Union) and on the theoretical perspective which motivated them by making a distinction between linguistique de corpus and linguistique sur corpus. In a second part, we shall describe an experimentation of the use of the IntUne corpus within a course entitled “Didactic of French as a foreign language”, which took place at the University of Brittany, Lorient

Overview of the CLEF 2022 JOKER Task 3: Pun Translation from English into French
The translation of the pun is one of the most challenging issues for translators and for this
reason has become an intensively studied phenomenon in the field of translation studies.
Translation technology aims to partially or even totally automate the translation process,
but relatively little attention has been paid to the use of computers for the translation of
wordplay. The CLEF 2022 JOKER track aims to build a multilingual corpus of wordplay and
evaluation metrics in order to advance the automation of creative-language translation. This
paper provides an overview of the track’s Pilot Task 3, where the goal is to translate entire
phrases containing wordplay (particularly puns). We describe the data collection, the task
setup, the evaluation procedure, and the participants’ results. We also cover a side product
of our project, a homogeneous monolingual corpus for wordplay detection in French

This thesis investigates the beliefs about languages of primary school teachers. Furthermore, it explores their language training at the Teacher Training college, on the assumption that these teachers play a key role in the implementation and success of language teaching in the primary school system. Moreover, it reveals the difficulties which seem to prevent the development of foreign language teaching in primary schools. Thus, it raises the question of teacher education insisting on the necessity of acquiring new skills to be able to teach efficiently a foreign language in primary schools. The study outlines ways to improve primary school teachers' foreign language education and puts forward some proposals designed to improve the current model of the primary school teachers education program.
