A partir dos conceitos de “lugares de memória” (Nora) e “espaços de recordação” (Assmann), o artigo propõe uma reflexão crítica sobre as intenções e as contradições presentes na narrativa do Memorial dos Heróis Silenciosos - Resistência contra a perseguição dos judeus, 1933-1945, criado em 2008, em Berlim, na Rua Rosenthaler, no bairro com grande concentração de judeus na época da Alemanha nazista. O Memorial narra histórias daqueles que, individualmente ou articulados a grupos, associações, organizações, arriscaram suas vidas para salvar judeus da deportação, independentemente do êxito ou não de tais iniciativas

O Memorial narra histórias daqueles que, individualmente ou articulados a grupos, associações, organizações, arriscaram suas vidas para salvar judeus da deportação, independentemente do êxito ou não de tais iniciativas. Based on the concepts of “realms of memory” (Nora) and “spaces of remembrance” (Assmann), the article proposes a critical reflection on the intentions and contradictions present in the narrative of the Memorial of the Silent Heroes - Resistance against persecution against the Jews, 1933-1945, created in 2008 in Berlin, on Rosenthaler Street, in a district with a high concentration of Jews at the time of National Socialist Germany. The Memorial narrates stories of those who, individually or linked to groups, associations, organizations, risked their lives to save Jews from deportation, regardless of the success or not of such initiatives.

French Historians in gray zone: remembrances of the war

Este artigo analisa as lembranças de alguns historiadores franceses que viveram na França ocupada pelos alemães e, no pós-1945, construíram suas carreiras, especialmente na chamada Nova História francesa. A pesquisa está baseada em ensaios de ego-história, autobiografias e entrevistas que os autores selecionados produziram a partir de finais dos anos 1980, ou seja, quase 40 anos após o fim da guerra. O estudo tem como objetivo demonstrar, em primeiro lugar, que tais lembranças se inserem, de uma forma ou de outra, na memória construída na França do pós-guerra, influenciadas pelo mito da Resistência que o revisionismo historiográfico francês tem desconstruído desde a década de 1970. Finalmente, o artigo argumenta que a maioria dos autores selecionados, quando jovem, viveu no que Pierre Laborie chamou de zona cinzenta, inspirado na obra de Primo Levi.This article analyzes the remembrances of some French historians who lived in German-occupied France and, in the post-1945, built their careers, especially in the so-called New French History. The survey is based on Ego history essays, autobiographies and interviews that the selected authors produced from the late 1980s, that means, almost 40 years after the end of the war. The study aims to demonstrate, first, that these remembrances are inserted, in one way or another, in the memory built in France in the post-war period, influenced by the Resistance mith that the French historiographical revisionism has deconstructed since the 1970s. Finally, the article argues that most of the selected authors, when young, lived in what Pierre Laborie has called gray zone, inspired by the work of Primo Levi

Revisionismo e negacionismo: controvérsias

Although revisionism and negationism are terms and concepts that allude to different things, they are often confused in studies on different themes and situations. This article seeks to differentiate them and to analyze the reasons and the processes from which the two terms were often confused. The issue gained particular visibility in the controversies surrounding Nazi crimes in World War II, but it involves controversies before and after the conflict. Such a reality can be observed in three dimensions that, being autonomous, not infrequently got mixed up: (a) political and ideological; (b) historiographic; (c) judicial. Involving disputes from the past, the interpenetration of these dimensions occurs, above all, when issues of the history of the Present Time are at stake.Embora revisionismo e negacionismo sejam termos e conceitos que aludam a coisas distintas, não raramente são confundidos em estudos sobre diferentes temáticas e conjunturas. Este artigo procura diferenciá-los e analisar as razões e os processos a partir dos quais em muitos momentos os dois termos se confundiram. A questão ganhou visibilidade particular nas polêmicas em torno dos crimes nazistas na Segunda Guerra Mundial, mas envolve controvérsias anteriores e posteriores ao conflito. Tal realidade pode ser observada em três dimensões que, sendo autônomas, com frequência, se embaralharam: (a) política e ideológica; (b) historiográfica; (c) judicial. Envolvendo disputas do passado, a interpenetração dessas dimensões ocorre, sobretudo, quando estão em causa temas da história do Tempo Presente

Atividade antimicrobiana da geoprópolis da abelha jataí (Tetragonisca angustula) contra bactérias isoladas em leite de vacas mestiças leiteiras com mastite

A mastite é responsável por perdas consideráveis aos produtores e às indústrias. A utilização de terapias convencionais tem resultado em resistência por parte dos microrganismos além de resíduos eliminados no leite, interferindo na produção de laticínios e na saúde pública. Na busca por terapias alternativas, particularmente os apiterápicos tem demonstrado bons resultados frente a diferentes microrganismos causadores de enfermidades. Em um experimento com 10 amostras de leite de animais positivos ao teste de CMT onde sete apresentaram crescimento bacteriano, verificou-se a eficácia in vitro da geoprópolis da abelha Jataí (Tetragonisca angustula) contra bactérias patogênicas isoladas e identificadas nessas amostras como Stapylococcus sp. coagulase-negativos.

O turismo e a economia brasileira: uma discussão da matriz de insumo-produto

The World Tourism Organization define tourists as being those who travel and stay away from their homes for a less than one-year period. In economic terms, tourism is seem as an activity that implies outlays from those far from home between at least a twenty-four-hour period and, at most, one year; involving different economic activities in transport, food, lodging and leisure sectors. These aspects implies, therefore, a major interaction between many economic sectors, being important analyzing the articulation between them both in a complementary way and regarding the economic impacts their development involve. The input-output matrix is an excellent analitical tool in this case, making it possible to visualize the articulations between tourism and the rest of the economy, as well as to estimate the impacts of tourism as and demander and offerer of inputs for the Brazilian economy. It can also verify the effects of the sector growth on the income and labour generated. These aspects are studied in this work by estimating the input-output matrix for tourism in Brazil in the year of 2004
