    In this article, we assume that there exist scalar DDˉ{D}^\ast {\bar {D}}^\ast, DsDˉs{D}_s^\ast {\bar {D}}_s^\ast, BBˉ{B}^\ast {\bar {B}}^\ast and BsBˉs{B}_s^\ast {\bar {B}}_s^\ast molecular states, and study their masses using the QCD sum rules. The numerical results indicate that the masses are about (250500)MeV(250-500) \rm{MeV} above the corresponding DDˉ{D}^\ast -{\bar {D}}^\ast, DsDˉs{D}_s^\ast -{\bar {D}}_s^\ast, BBˉ{B}^\ast -{\bar {B}}^\ast and BsBˉs{B}_s^\ast -{\bar {B}}_s^\ast thresholds, the Y(4140) is unlikely a scalar DsDˉs{D}_s^\ast {\bar {D}}_s^\ast molecular state. The scalar DDˉD^\ast {\bar D}^\ast, DsDˉsD_s^\ast {\bar D}_s^\ast, BBˉB^\ast {\bar B}^\ast and BsBˉsB_s^\ast {\bar B}_s^\ast molecular states maybe not exist, while the scalar DDˉ{D'}^\ast {\bar {D'}}^\ast, DsDˉs{D'}_s^\ast {\bar {D'}}_s^\ast, BBˉ{B'}^\ast {\bar {B'}}^\ast and BsBˉs{B'}_s^\ast {\bar {B'}}_s^\ast molecular states maybe exist.Comment: 19 pages, 36 figures, slight revisio

Another tetraquark structure in the π+χc1\pi^+ \chi_{c1} invariant mass distribution

In this article, we assume that there exists a scalar hidden charm tetraquark state in the π+χc1\pi^+ \chi_{c1} invariant mass distribution, and study its mass using the QCD sum rules. The numerical result MZ=(4.36±0.18)GeVM_{Z}=(4.36\pm0.18) \rm{GeV} is consistent with the mass of the Z(4250). The Z(4250) may be a tetraquark state, other possibilities, such as a hadro-charmonium resonance and a D1+Dˉ0+D+Dˉ10D_1^+\bar{D}^0+ D^+\bar{D}_1^0 molecular state are not excluded.Comment: 14 pages, 14 figure, correct some type error

    FRW Universe in Ho\~rava Gravity

Recently, a field theoretic model for a UV complete theory of gravity has been proposed by Ho\~{r}ava. This theory is a non-relativistic renormalizable gravity theory which coincides with Einstein's general relativity at large distances. Subsequently L\"{u} et al have formulated the modified Friedmann equations and have presented a solution in vacuum. In the present work, we rewrite the modified FRW equations in the form of usual FRW equations in Einstein gravity and consequences has been analyzed. Also the thermodynamics of the FRW universe has been studied

Naringin supplementation affects performance, carcass traits, meat quality and oxidative stability of finishing pigs

Naringin is a major flavanone derivate that has many important biological functions in animals. However, its effect on pigs is unknown. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of naringin supplementation on performance, carcass traits, meat quality and oxidative stability in finishing pigs. Ninety-six pigs, with an average initial body weight of 66.2 ± 0.63 kg, were randomly divided into four groups. One group was fed a basal diet without supplementation (control), and the three others were fed diets supplemented with 0.5, 1.0 or 1.5 g naringin /kg DM of feed for 50 days. Each treatment was replicated six times with four pigs per replicate. Feed and water were available ad libitum. The 0.5 g/kg naringin treatment group had an improved loin eye muscle area, reduced serum triglycerides and were leaner compared with the other groups. Pigs in the 1.5 g/kg naringin treatment had higher pH45min values and inosine monophosphate concentrations, and lower MyHC IIb mRNA expression in muscle than the other groups. MyHC IIa mRNA expression was significantly up-regulated in all naringin-supplemented diet groups. Naringin significantly increased superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and total anti-oxidative capacity in meat, as well as SOD and glutathione peroxidase activity in the liver. These results indicate that the dietary addition of naringin at 0.5 g/kg improved carcass characteristics, while 1.5 g/kg improved the oxidative stability and pork quality in finishing pigs. Nanoindentation modeling of a nanodot-patterned surface on a deformable substrate

AbstractA numerical model was developed to simulate the nanoindentation of a Ni nanodot-patterned surface (NDPS) on a deformable Si substrate. Each contacting nanodot on the Si substrate was treated individually in this model and the interaction among the nanodots was considered through the elastic deformation of the Si substrate. The load–deformation relationship for the single-asperity contact between the indenter tip and a nanodot was determined using finite element analysis. A nanoindentation experiment on a Ni NDPS was performed to test the developed model. The simulation and experimental results were found to be in good agreement. The experimentally verified model was used to explore the effects of substrate deformation and surface roughness caused by the Ni nanodots on the nanoindentation behavior. It was found that the effect of the substrate and the effect of roughness must be considered. A detailed study of the substrate deformation shows that the interaction among nanodots, through the substrate, can contribute a considerable portion of the total deformation under a nanodot. The yield strength of the nanodot was found to have a significant effect on the contact deformation, while the elastic modulus was found to have little effect

Threshold temperature for pairwise and many-particle thermal entanglement in the isotropic Heisenberg model

We study the threshold temperature for pairwise thermal entanglement in the spin-1/2 isotropic Heisenberg model up to 11 spins and find that the threshold temperature for odd and even number of qubits approaches the thermal dynamical limit from below and above, respectively. The threshold temperature in the thermodynamical limit is estimated. We investigate the many-particle entanglement in both ground states and thermal states of the system, and find that the thermal state in the four-qubit model is four-particle entangled before a threshold temperature.Comment: 4 pages with 1 fig. More discussions on many-particle ground-state and thermal entanglement in the multiqubit Heisenberg model from 2 to 11 qubits are adde

A Topological Study of Chaotic Iterations. Application to Hash Functions

    No full text
International audienceChaotic iterations, a tool formerly used in distributed computing, has recently revealed various interesting properties of disorder leading to its use in the computer science security field. In this paper, a comprehensive study of its topological behavior is proposed. It is stated that, in addition to being chaotic as defined in the Devaney's formulation, this tool possesses the property of topological mixing. Additionally, its level of sensibility, expansivity, and topological entropy are evaluated. All of these properties lead to a complete unpredictable behavior for the chaotic iterations. As it only manipulates binary digits or integers, we show that it is possible to use it to produce truly chaotic computer programs. As an application example, a truly chaotic hash function is proposed in two versions. In the second version, an artificial neural network is used, which can be stated as chaotic according to Devaney
