An Algorithm for the Longest Common Subsequence and Substring Problem

In this note, we first introduce a new problem called the longest common subsequence and substring problem. Let XX and YY be two strings over an alphabet Σ\Sigma. The longest common subsequence and substring problem for XX and YY is to find the longest string which is a subsequence of XX and a substring of YY. We propose an algorithm to solve the problem

An Algorithm for the Constrained Longest Common Subsequence and Substring Problem

Let Σ\Sigma be an alphabet. For two strings XX, YY, and a constrained string PP over the alphabet Σ\Sigma, the constrained longest common subsequence and substring problem for two strings XX and YY with respect to PP is to find a longest string ZZ which is a subsequence of XX, a substring of YY, and has PP as a subsequence. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for the constrained longest common subsequence and substring problem for two strings with a constrained string.Comment: arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:2308.0092

Non-bleeding Spontaneous Rupture of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Rupture of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is not uncommon and most ruptured HCC present with hemoperitoneum and hemorrhagic shock. Management of ruptured HCC is different than non.ruptured one. Short. and long.term mortality increases following rupture of HCC with increasing chances of tumor dissemination. We describe a case with non-bleeding spontaneous rupture of HCC. A 62-year-old male patient was admitted to our institute hospital with mild to moderate pain in the right upper part of the abdomen. He lost appetite and weight. Ultrasonography of the abdomen was performed and it suggested HCC and ascites. Triple phase computer tomography revealed HCC in segments 6 and 7 of liver with typical radiological characteristics. Portal vein was thrombosed. No extravasation of dye was seen. Ruptured of tumor through liver capsule was seen with necrosis and hemorrhage in the center of the tumor.  Non.bleeding ruptured HCC has not been reported in the literature to the best of our knowledge. We herein describe this rare case. Keywords: Hepatocellular carcinoma, hemoperitoneum, spontaneous ruptur

The Methods to Improve Quality of Service by Accounting Secure Parameters

A solution to the problem of ensuring quality of service, providing a greater number of services with higher efficiency taking into account network security is proposed. In this paper, experiments were conducted to analyze the effect of self-similarity and attacks on the quality of service parameters. Method of buffering and control of channel capacity and calculating of routing cost method in the network, which take into account the parameters of traffic multifractality and the probability of detecting attacks in telecommunications networks were proposed. The both proposed methods accounting the given restrictions on the delay time and the number of lost packets for every type quality of service traffic. During simulation the parameters of transmitted traffic (self-similarity, intensity) and the parameters of network (current channel load, node buffer size) were changed and the maximum allowable load of network was determined. The results of analysis show that occurrence of overload when transmitting traffic over a switched channel associated with multifractal traffic characteristics and presence of attack. It was shown that proposed methods can reduce the lost data and improve the efficiency of network resources.Comment: 10 pages, 1 figure, 1 equation, 1 table. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1904.0520

Magnetic nanobeads decorated by thermo-responsive PNIPAM shell as medical platforms for the efficient delivery of doxorubicin to tumour cells

    Get PDF
Medical nanoplatforms based on clusters of superparamagnetic nanoparticles decorated with a PNIPAM thermo-responsive shell have been synthesized and used as drug carriers for doxorubicin (DOXO), a common chemotherapeutic agent. The nanosystem here developed has a total diameter below 200 nm and exploits the temperature responsive behaviour of the PNIPAM polymeric shell for the controlled loading and release of DOXO. The system has been tested in vitro on tumour cells and it clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of drug polymer encapsulation and time-dependent cell death induced by the doxorubicin release. Comparative cellular studies of the DOXO loaded nanoplatform in the presence or absence of an external magnet (0.3 T) showed the synergic effect of accumulation and enhanced toxicity of the system, when magnetically guided, resulting in the enhanced efficacy of the system
