Global generalized synchronization in networks of different time-delay systems

We show that global generalized synchronization (GS) exists in structurally different time-delay systems, even with different orders, with quite different fractal (Kaplan-Yorke) dimensions, which emerges via partial GS in symmetrically coupled regular networks. We find that there exists a smooth transformation in such systems, which maps them to a common GS manifold as corroborated by their maximal transverse Lyapunov exponent. In addition, an analytical stability condition using the Krasvoskii-Lyapunov theory is deduced. This phenomenon of GS in strongly distinct systems opens a new way for an effective control of pathological synchronous activity by means of extremely small perturbations to appropriate variables in the synchronization manifold.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures, Accepted for publication in Europhys. This paper discusses about the Applied Psychology publications and its citation available in the Scimago Journal and Country Rank data base by the authors from top 15 countries (based on publications). The relevant data are collected from Scimago Journal and Country Rank data base and it was analyzed. Itshows among the Applied Psychology publications totally 99276 articles were published the maximum of 47753(48.10%) articles published by United States followed by United Kingdom with 11819(11.91%) publications during the study period

Scientometric mapping of research output of NIRF first ranked institute of India: IISc, Bangalore

The study is aimed to investigate the scientific research productivity of India’s NIRF first ranked higher academic & research institute, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore for a period of 05 years during 2014-2018. A total of 12,130 research papers were retrieved as SCIE publication from WoS bibliographical database and analyzed. The study is focused to find out the year wise institutional contribution in research, compound annual growth rate, areas of interest, collaborating institutions and countries, mode of publications, research funding agencies, prolific journals, prolific authors, authorship pattern, degree of collaborations etc. Different scientometric tools and techniques were used to analyze the data and interpretation has been done accordingly to draw out the meaningful result in evaluating the research productivity of the institute

Application of Bradford’s law of scattering on research publication in Astronomy & Astrophysics of India

    Get PDF
The present study is focused on examining the application of Bradford’s law of scattering on research articles published in the field of Astronomy & Astrophysics by Indian scientist during 1988-2017. The bibliographic data was retrieved from Web of Science (WoS) bibliographic data base for different period of time. Total 18,877 journal’s article have been published by Indian scientist in the field of Astronomy & Astrophysics during 1988-2017 which was further retrieved and analyzed separately for different blocks of 10 years as well as for 30 years consolidated too. The core journal of the field was identified. The Bradford law of scattering and Leimkuhler model was also tested to verify the data set and failed to establish the consistency in scattering of literature due to high level concentration of articles in very few journals

Scientometric Analysis of Indian Citation Index (2004-2015): Profile of the Domain of Psychology Journals

    Get PDF
Indian Citation Index database is a powerful tool to search, track, and measure and collaborate in the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities. This paper is discussed the published research articles, citations and self-citations in the Psychology journals which are available in Indian Citation Index. There are 3333 articles published from 6 Psychology Journals. Among the journals, Indian Journal of Psychiatry occupies first position with 989 (29.68%) articles and Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine occupies second rank with 644 (19.32%) articles and Psychological Studies is in third 584 (17.52%). Further, in the year 2012, 390 (11.70%) articles are published and it is highest when comparing to other years. It is pointed out that the frequency of the journals is varying and that is one of the reasons for the strength of articles
