Linear and Nonlinear Optical Properties of Mn doped Benzimidazole Thin Films
In the present work, the Mn doped benzimidazole (BMZ) thin films were
prepared by simple chemical bath deposition technique. The material was
directly deposited as thin film on glass substrates and the metal concentration
in the solution was varied in weight percentage in order to investigate the
dopant effect on the properties of thin films. Similarly, the Mn doped BMZ
films were deposited in different solution temperature to study the effect of
deposition temperature on the properties of thin films. The PXRD and FT-IR
spectroscopy are used to study the structural and the presence of functional
groups in the BMZ medium. Depending upon the solution temperature, thickness of
the films varying from 0.6 to 1.2 {\mu}m and the optical transparency of the
samples increases with the increasing temperature up to 50 {\deg}C. Second
Harmonic Generation (SHG) efficiency of the films is measured for all the
films. Third order nonlinear optical properties of the films were analyzed
using Z-scan technique. The experimental results show that Mn doped BMZ films
exhibits saturation absorption and negative nonlinearity.Comment: This has been presented in DAE 58th Solid State Symposium held at
Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab, India. Will be published in AIP
conference proceedings soo
Designing with RoBs for High Performance VLIW Architecture
VLIW architecture has become widespread due to the combined bene?ts of simple hardware and compiler extracted instruction level parallelism. The VLIW instruction set architecture and its hardware implementation is tightly coupled and a novel simultaneous multithreading VLIW architecture with dynamic dispatch mechanism which uses RoBs complex logic to maximize ILP has been proposed. Since the resulting dynamic instruction schedule of many applications seldom changes, it is reasonable to store and reuse the schedule instead of reconstructing it each time. The new VLIW architecture shows that it can effectively increase the processor efficiency which improves the performance
Detection and localization of cotton based on deep neural networks
Cotton detection is the localization and identification of the cotton in an image. It has a wide application in robot harvesting. Various modern algorithms use deep learning techniques for detection of fruits/flowers. As per the survey, the topics travelled include numerous algorithms used, and accuracy obtained on using those algorithms on their data set. The limitations and the advantages in each paper, are also discussed. This paper focuses on various fruit detection algorithms- the Faster RCNN, the RCNN, YOLO. Ultimately, a rigorous survey of many papers related to the detection of objects like fruits/flowers, analysis of the assets and faintness of each paper leads us to understanding the techniques and purpose of algorithms.

STUDY ON THE ENHANCEMENT OF THE PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE BY OPTIMIZING THE PROPOTIONS OF HYBRID MINERAL ADMIXTURES
Since advent of civilization various types of cementitous materials have been used for constructiuon practices. The arrival of Ordinary Portland Cement changed the construction activities completely. However, because of several drawbacks associated with properties of cement and manufactured building materials using OPC as well as the cost factor attempts one mode to utilize other materials for economical constructions and improved mortar and concrete characteristics. Now attempts were made to utilize these waste materials or industrial byproducts in construction activities to solve the environmental pollution problems, and safer and economical construction. In this paper Fly Ash and Silica Fume has been used as a hybrid mineral admixture as a replacement material for cement..The physical and chemical properties of Fly Ash and Silica Fume has been studied and these materials are replaced for cement by the following proportions 25%F.A-5%S.F, 20%F.A-10%S.F,15%F.A-15%S.F and 10%F.A-20%S.F. Specimens have been casted to determine the mechanical properties such as compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength to find out the optimum proportions of the admixture and durability properties like acid attack, sulphate attack and chloride attack to find out the resistance offered by the mineral admixtures in concrete which can undergo deterioration due to various salts
4-[(E)-(4-Methylphenyl)iminomethyl]phenol
In the title compound, C14H13NO, the two rings show significant deviation from coplanarity, with a dihedral angle between the two planes of 49.40 (5)°. The hydroxy group is involved in an intermolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond, forming an extended one-dimensional zigzag chain along (001)
4-Bromo-N-(4-hydroxybenzylidene)aniline
In the title compound, C13H10BrNO, the benzene ring planes are inclined at an angle of 48.85 (17)°, resulting in a nonplanar molecule. A characteristic of aromatic Schiff bases with N-aryl substituents is that the terminal phenyl rings are twisted relative to the HC=N plane. In this case, the HC=N unit makes dihedral angles of 11.1 (4) and 38.5 (3)° with the hydroxybenzene and bromobenzene rings, respectively. In the crystal, the molecules are linked by O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds to form infinite (C8) chains along the b axis
SMART CROP PROTECTION SYSTEM WITH IMAGE CAPTURE OVER IOT
The problem of wild animal attacks on crop fields i.e. crop vandalization is becoming a very common phenomenon in the state of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and many other states. Wild animals like monkeys, estray animals especially cows and buffaloes, wild dogs, nilgais, bisons, elephants deer, wild pigs and even birds like parakeets cause a lot of damage to crops either by running over them or eating them and vandalizing them completely. This leads to poor yield of crops. These animals attack on fruit orchards and destroy the flowerings and fruits. In both cases, this leads to significant financial loss to the farmers and orchard owners. The problem is so pronounced that sometimes farmers decide to leave the area barren due to these animal attacks
Status of brackishwater prawn farming in Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh is estimated to have 762.51 ha of brackishwater area under prawn culture-
Prawn culture In brackishwater ponds as well as in paddy fields converted into prawn ponds is picking
up fast In the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh, especially in East Godavari, Krishna and Guntur
districts. There are more than 200 ha of brackishwater areas suitable for prawn culture in West
Godavari district alone. IVIore and more are being brought under prawn farming in this district.
Seml-lntensive culture technology is employed by the fish farmers. The average yield Is estimated at
450 kg/ha/crop. This paper presents and discusses the status of prawn culture in Andhra Pradesh,
identifies the constraints and suggests strategies for bringing the abundantly available brackishwater
areas under scientific prawn culture to Increase the yield from these ponds
