Uncertainty in the Fluctuations of the Price of Stocks

We report on a study of the Tehran Price Index (TEPIX) from 2001 to 2006 as an emerging market that has been affected by several political crises during the recent years, and analyze the non-Gaussian probability density function (PDF) of the log returns of the stocks' prices. We show that while the average of the index did not fall very much over the time period of the study, its day-to-day fluctuations strongly increased due to the crises. Using an approach based on multiplicative processes with a detrending procedure, we study the scale-dependence of the non-Gaussian PDFs, and show that the temporal dependence of their tails indicates a gradual and systematic increase in the probability of the appearance of large increments in the returns on approaching distinct critical time scales over which the TEPIX has exhibited maximum uncertainty.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figures. The organic farming system is an agricultural system that keeps the environment-friendly. This study aims to explore and understand the experience gained by individuals in living organic farming systems. The study used the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) approach that aims thedepth of meaning against various backgrounds, experiences, unique events, and subject thinking through in- depth interviews. The results found that the organic farming systemapplicationled to a variety of the organic farming system experience.Organic farming systems that have been implemented at the moment are still constrained so that social capital in the form of values, norms, trusts and social networks play a role in overcoming these obstacles. Subventricular zone stem cells are heterogeneous with respect to their embryonic origins and neurogenic fates in the adult olfactory bulb

Wedetermined the embryonic origins of adult forebrain subventricular zone (SVZ) stem cells by Cre-lox fate mapping in transgenic mice. We found that all parts of the telencephalic neuroepithelium, including the medial ganglionic eminence and lateral ganglionic eminence (LGE) and the cerebral cortex, contribute multipotent, self-renewing stem cells to the adult SVZ. Descendants of the embryonic LGE and cortex settle in ventral and dorsal aspects of the dorsolateral SVZ, respectively. Both populations contribute new (5-bromo-2(')-deoxyuridine- labeled) tyrosine hydroxylase- and calretinin-positive interneurons to the adult olfactory bulb. However, calbindin-positive interneurons in the olfactory glomeruli were generated exclusively by LGE- derived stem cells. Thus, different SVZ stem cells have different embryonic origins, colonize different parts of the SVZ, and generate different neuronal progeny, suggesting that some aspects of embryonic patterning are preserved in the adult SVZ. This could have important implications for the design of endogenous stem cell-based therapies in the future

Pengaruh Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM) Dan Earning Per Share (EPS) Terhadap Harga Saham Pada Perusahaan Yang Terdaftar Dalam Indeks LQ45 Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2012-2015

This study aimed to investigate how big the influence of Return On Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Earning Per Share (EPS) variables simultaneously and partially to the company's share price and which variables gave the dominant influence on stock prices. The sample in this study were 45 companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange LQ45. The results using simple and multiple linear regression test showed that the company's financial performance measured by ROA, ROE, NPM and EPS had an influence on stock prices. Partially concluded that ROA, ROE and EPS significantly affected stock prices, while the ROA did not significantly affect stock prices. NPM had dominant influence towards stock prices on companies listed in the LQ45 index

Penerapan Bimbingan Kelompok Topik Tugas untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal pada Siswa Kelas VIII B di SMP Negeri 3 Gresik

Penelitian ini berawal dari observasi dan wawancara kepada guru BK sewaktu PPL ternyata masih banyak siswa di kelas VIII B di SMP Negeri 3 Gresik yang mengalami kurangnya kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan bimbingan kelompok topik tugas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa kelas VIII B di SMP Negeri 3 Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre experimental design dengan bentuk one group pre-test and post-test design. Dengan subyek yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal kategori rendah sebanyak 5 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini berupa angket kemampuan pemilihan karir dengan 61 item pernyataan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji tanda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Dengan melihat tabel tes binomial Probabilities dengan ketentuan N = 5 dan%2 = 0 (z) maka diperoleh ρ (kemungkinan harga dibawah H0) = 0,031. Bila dalam ketetapan taraf α (taraf kesalahan) sebesar 5% adalah 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa harga 0,031 < 0,05 berdasarkan hasil ini maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Setelah diberikan perlakuan bimbingan kelompok topik tugas terdapat perbedaan skor antara Pre-Test dan Post-Test. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan kelompok topik tugas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal siswa kelas VIII B di SMP Negeri 3 Gresi

Pemanfaatan Material Rumput Laut melalui Ekstraksi Karagenan untuk Desain Kemasan Edibel

Indonesia adalah pemasok rumput laut utama di dunia, lebih dari 65.000.000 ton rumput laut telah diekspor ke seluruh penjuru dunia pada tahun 2013, Namun pengembangan budidaya rumput hanya memanfaatkan 222.180 ha atau 20% dari luas area potensial. Faktanya 85% dari hasil akuakultur tersebut diekspor dalam bentuk mentah, hanya 15% yang diolah menjadi produk industri. Rumput laut dapat diekstrak menjadi karagenan, salah satu jenis polisakarida yang banyak digunakan dalam produk pangan, farmasi dan kosmetik. Perusahaan pengolah karagenan tutup satu persatu karena minimnya pilihan untuk memanfaatkan karagenan sebagai produk industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan inovasi desain produk berbahan dasar rumput laut, sebagai bentuk upaya mengoptimalkan potensi rumput laut sebagai komoditas Indonesia yang melimpah, dan mengaplikasikannya ke desain produk sesuai dengan karakteristik material.
