The role of behavioral, normative, and control beliefs in the consumption of Australian products and services by Chinese consumers
This study reports an application of the theory of planned behavior as a framework to investigate how beliefs influence purchase decisions of Chinese consumers. Data were obtained from an online survey (N = 2002) that assessed respondentsâ behavioral, normative, and control beliefs in relation to their intentions to purchase Australian products and/or services. The multivariate analysis revealed significant difference in beliefs of people who intended to purchase Australian products and/or services compared to people who did not intend to purchase them. Purchase intentions were associated with a favorable cost-benefit analysis, greater perceptions of normative support for the behavior, and lower perceptions of the extent to which barriers would impede performance of the behavior. Implications for theory and marketing practice are discussed
Une approche opérationnelle pour appliquer l'analyse institutionnelle à l'implémentation de politiques publiques au sein de Seamless-IF, PD2.4.2,SEAMLESS integrated project, EU 6th Framework Programme
This Deliverable D 2.4.2 comprises the work done by Task 2.4 (Activities 2.4.1-3) on the development of indicators characterising policy delivery systems and institutional environments. Task 2.4 addresses, in particular, the issue of the institutional conditions required to implement policies that acknowledge and promote sustainability and multifunctional aspects of agriculture. The final goal of Task 2.4 is to produce ex-ante an institutional assessment of agri-environmental policy options through their impact on the contribution of agriculture to sustainable development. This work will continue in WP 6, in particular in Task 6.4 where the Procedure for Institutional Compatibility Assessment (PICA) introduced in this Deliverable will be tested, improved, and further integrated in SEAMLESS-IF
