The Buntsandstein and Muschelkalk facies have been surveyed in the
outcrops between Monterde and the North of Alhama de Aragón. Seven
stratigraphic sections have been studied, two in greater detail.
After stablishing six informal lithostratigraphical units, very different
each other, thcir vertical variations are studied as well as their mutual relations.
The palaeogeogi-aphic reconstructions and the sediníentary evolution
point out the existence of several shoals during tSe genesis of tSe three lower
units as well as tSe transition from continental to marine deposits and
several sedimentary breaks, sometimes niarked by paleosoils

Geological factors of the Guadalajara landscapes (Central Spain) and their relevance to landscape studies
The landscapes of a territory are the consequence of its history; overlapped geological, vegetable and cultural histories
usually exist on a landscape. At the Mediterranean domain, however, a translucent vegetation exists, and its history is
closely related to the geologic and cultural histories, because low-technology agricultural uses on a different hardness rock
background control vegetation. Thus, in areas like the Guadalajara province, the geologic composition and the human activities
can be considered the primary conditions for landscape configuration. Both condition the typologies, distribution and relative
importance of the geotic, biotic and anthropogenic components of landscapes. A complex network of interrelations among all
them exists but, in the base of which lie the geology of the territory, included relief, because it has amore independent influence
since man cannot modify the geologic factors; such as the colour of the rocks, the size and distribution of rock bodies, the
palaeogeographic domains and the tectonic structure all which control landscape development and configuration. Moreover,
geology influences conditions and even limit, the presence, typologies and development of the biotic and anthropogenic
elements. These factors also have a major relevance for environmental management, educational and economic policy, and,
in some cases, for environmental impact assessment
Hydroxychloroquine to prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection among healthcare workers: early termination of a phase 3, randomised, open-label, controlled clinical trial
OBJECTIVE: To assess the effectiveness and safety of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) prophylaxis for the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection in healthcare workers (HCW) on duty during the COVID-19 pandemic. RESULTS: A total of 68 HCWs met the eligibility criteria were randomly allocated to receive HCQ (n = 36) or not (n = 32). There were no significant differences between groups in respects to age, gender, or medical history. Eight participants met the primary efficacy endpoint of SAR-CoV-2 infection during the study period; there was no difference in incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infections between both study arms (HCQ: 5 vs Control: 3, p = 0.538). The relative risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the HCQ arm was 1.69 compared to the control group (95%CI 0.41-7.11, p = 0.463); due to poor participant accrual, the resulting statistical power of the primary efficacy outcome was 11.54%. No serious adverse events occurred; however, two (2/36, 5.6%) participants no longer wished to participate in the study and withdrew consent due to recurring grade 1 and 2 adverse events. Oxaliplatin-Associated Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy in a Patient with Metastatic Gastric Cancer: A Case Report
We present the case of a 64-year-old female with stage IV gastric adenocarcinoma, pulmonary, and abdominal wall metastases, and no history of cardiovascular disease. In palliative care, she received systemic cytotoxic treatment with fluorouracil, leucovorin, oxaliplatin, and docetaxel protocol, which was well tolerated over five cycles. During cycle 6, she presented with cardiovascular symptoms with hemodynamic consequences while receiving oxaliplatin injection without docetaxel or 5-fluorouracil. She was transferred to the emergency department and then to the intensive care unit. She developed no complications during the hospital stay and was discharged after 10 days with preserved systolic function and no structural changes at the myocardial level. The electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, cardiac catheterization, and magnetic resonance imaging findings indicated an oxaliplatin-associated Takotsubo syndrome. The immunochemistry analysis showed PD-L1 expression level TPS: 40% and the foundation one genomic profiling revealed high mutation load, microsatellite instability, and HER2 not found. The patient is currently asymptomatic and on pembrolizumab monotherapy with good tolerance and partial treatment response
